After finally a few minutes had gone by, Corus was finally done participating. "Alright! That was good, now we just have to wait until tomorrow, and the exam finally starts!" Naki excitedly spoke as they walked down the wooden stairs and down to the grassy part in front of the Uea.
"Well, I'm excited too, well, I guess?" Corus replied with a bored face, making Naki lose her energy. "I'm stuck with a damn tree!" Naki shouted quietly.
"Hm? Did you say anything?" Corus said.
"Nope, I said completely nothing." Naki made a face as they walked over to a wooden bench.
"Any idea on what the exam is?" Corus asked as he turned one eye to Naki, who looked beautiful in this moment, her straight hair, her pink li— Corus quickly snapped out of that inappropriate thought as Naki spoke.
"Well, I think it'll be a study exam, or maybe a power exam, or either a mock battle exam." Naki listed a few that she thought would be the exam as she laid her fingers on her chin.
"That's interesting, mine's a little bit to the left, and yours are a little bit to the right. We sure do have different tastes," Corus said as he looked at the sky.
"Hm? What's your taste then?" Naki asked as she turned to Corus.
"About what?" Corus questioned.
"Let me elaborate, about a book series," Naki elaborated.
"A book series, hm?" Corus continued, as his reply might be a little weird. "Maybe Lord of Truth."
Naki immediately stood up and had a bright face. "Oh!! I love Lord of Truth!" Naki jumped up and down.
"Oh hey, looks like you guys are having fun." Corus and Naki looked to see who it was, and they saw a guy with yellow hair and blue eyes.
"I'm actually just participating. I saw you walking down, and I have no one else to talk to except for my idiotic brother, well, that's a different story." The guy sighed. "Oh, my name is Lanister Namela, nice to meet you." Both Corus and Naki nodded as Lanister bowed down a couple of inches before standing once again.
"So what were you two talking about?" Lanister questioned.
"Just what books we like," Naki replied, smiling.
"Oh, I love Lord of Truth!" As soon as Lanister said that, Naki immediately shook him. "Same!!" and Corus just replied with a "Same."
"Well, that's settled. When do you think we'll get our uniforms?" Lanister spoke, his tone and personality were different, he was a casual, chill talker.
"Our uniforms? Well, I got mine in just a day, and what did you request, Lanis?" Naki replied to Lanister, using the short nickname, Lanis.
"That's actually a pretty nice nickname you gave me, and I've requested the average uniform, since I'm pretty sure it costs a lot to add add-ons," Lanister answered.
"What about you, Corus?" Lanister already knew the names of the two as they introduced themselves a couple minutes back.
"I requested that mine should have a half cape," Corus quietly responded.
"That's actually pretty unique, you'd look good in that!" Lanister complimented Corus, as their dynamic as a trio grew even larger.
"So, can we talk about which one of us has the best Magicu?" Lanister suggested a game.
"Oh, it's definitely Corus," Naki chuckled. "I have Light Magicu, but Corus has so many versatile Magicus, he basically has a toolkit. I don't stand a chance!"
"Woah, really! That's cool. Mine's Barrier Magicu, I can create Magicu and control how strong and durable it is with just a few costs on my energy!" Lanister introduced his Magicu.
"Cool, you can make a barrier forcefield around us!" Naki said as her eyes were like stars.
"Well, mine's flower Magicu, dry Magicu, water Magicu, fire Magicu, and blah blah." Corus didn't have time to spit out a thousand words.
"Oh wow! Naki's right, you have a toolkit!"
"Really? I don't really think so," Corus replied.
"Don't think like that, think like the amazing sky!" Lanister held Corus back as he passed his hand to the sky.
"Ha, to the sky!!" Naki copied Lanister and did the same.
"You all are acting like children," Corus chuckled as Naki and Lanister laughed.
