Chapter 1 - The Ticket Thief

Little Nia, about seven years old, tiptoed into her big sister's room. She sighed, noticing that Yuni was smiling even in her sleep.

"Is she dreaming about KJ K or what? Stupid," Nia muttered, shaking her head as she climbed onto the bouncing bed.

She settled beside Yuni, propping her hand under her chin as she stared at her sister, mesmerized by the smile on her face. Her eyes widened when Yuni suddenly sniffed in her direction.

"What's that? Am I food now?" she whispered.

Yuni, startled by the movement beside her, flipped her eyes open and froze when she saw someone she wasn't expecting.

"Ahhhhhhh!" she screamed and tumbled off the bed.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Nia mimicked, rolling her eyes at her own dramatic imitation.

When Yuni finally recomposed herself, she frowned and climbed back onto the bed.

"Yah! What the hell are you doing in my room, Nia?" she demanded, clearly annoyed.

Yuni had been having a perfect dream about her K-pop idols, and this little troublemaker had ruined it.

"Good morning sis," Nia yawned innocently.

"Don't 'sis' me!" Yuni snapped.

"You shouldn't be shouting at me, you know," Nia replied, rolling her eyes.

"Why? Why shouldn't I shout at you, little wench?" Yuni furrowed her brows.

"Because…" Nia trailed off, grinning mischievously.

"What? What are you up to now?" Yuni asked warily. She knew her little seven-year-old sister was always up to something.

"I have a surprise for you,

sis," Nia said with a smug smile.

"What surprise?" Yuni asked, curiosity mixing with suspicion.

"Tada!" Nia hopped off the bed, dipping her hands into her pocket and pulling out a ticket. Yuni's eyes went wide.

"What are you doing with my tickets?" she demanded, jumping toward Nia but the little girl was quick, darting to the other side of the bed.

"Give them to me now, Nia!" Yuni snapped, anger rising.

"So, you're planning to go to the KJ K concert today?" Nia asked innocently.

"That's none of your business, Nia," Yuni said, rolling her eyes.

"Then it's going to be Mom's business," Nia replied, turning toward the door but Yuni caught her, making Nia smile inwardly.

"Stop!" Yuni called, blocking her path.

"What? Is it my business now?" Nia teased.

"You know how important this concert is to me. It's my KJ K and if I don't go, I really won't survive it" Yuni sighed. She had secretly spent her last bit of money on those tickets, desperate to see her idols perform at the stadium that evening.

"I didn't ask you all that," Nia said, biting her nails.

"N…Nia," Yuni muttered, running her fingers through her hair in frustration.

"What do you want?" she asked. Nia's small smile widened.

"I want some…"

"Money?" Yuni guessed.

"Hm," Nia nodded, innocently.

"I don't have any money on me, Nia. I bought those tickets with my last…" Yuni's words cut off as Nia turned toward the door again.

"Then I'm telling Mom about the tickets," Nia threatened.

"Wait… the only money I have left is for transport" Yuni complained.

"Give it to me," Nia said, holding out her tiny fingers and blinking sweetly.

Yuni stared at those little hands for a moment, wishing she could just break them off.

"My hands are hurting sis," Nia blinked innocently.

Yuni sighed in frustration and walked to her closet, motioning for Nia to face the wall. The little girl obeyed immediately.

She retrieved the money and handed it over. Nia smiled inwardly, pizza and Coke awaited her later.

"My tickets now," Yuni demanded.

"Calm down. If I give you the tickets, promise me you won't hit me. Because if you do, Mom will hear about the concert and you won't get to meet your handsome idols," Nia said, glancing around Yuni's room.

The walls were plastered with KJ K banners and photos. Yuni even wore a polo printed with their pictures. Everything about her screamed KJ K.

"Deal. Hand them over now," Yuni said.

"Perfect," Nia said, slowly giving the tickets to Yuni, who snatched them immediately.

"Don't move from there," Nia warned as she backed toward the door.

"Remember, Mom is around," she added before darting out of the room.

Yuni exhaled and collapsed onto the bed, clutching the tickets.

"My babies," she whispered. "That little brat nearly stopped me from seeing you"

She rose and kissed her idols one by one on the wall, only then realizing she didn't have enough for transport.

"What do I do now?" she groaned, flopping back on the bed and kicking her legs in frustration.

"I just want to squeeze you into two, Nia!" She cried.

Then a smile spread across her face. "I know what to do."
