'Why is it so dark...?'

I begin to open my eyes, and what I see both shocks and confuses me. a large woman is holding me as if I am a mere child.
'what the hell...what is going on...?'
I start to speak but all that came out was baby sounds.
'"gah...ugu...gah"
'did I forget how to speak or something? and what's wrong with my voice?'
I look down and see that I am no longer in my adult body. I am a baby. that also means that the giant woman must be my mother.
'did I really....get a second chance..?'
I begin to tear up.
'thank you, whatever god heard my last wish. I promise to make the best of this life and be useful.'
My mother, seeing me tear up, thinks she did something wrong and looks to the left to talk to a tall man, with dark hair and an expressionless face.
I don't quite understand what she says. I think it's another language. definitely not English.
