Chapter 24:
Travis was sitting back in his saddle, while he looked out at Minas Tirith. Deep down, he felt bad for what was about to commence. Travis didn't want to fight in a war, or let alone start one. But for him, there was no way out. He had to obey his father's orders.
Travis often thought about Princess Arwen, who brought joy to his heart, and light to these dark days. All those thoughts stopped when Gothmog joined him by his side.
"The army is almost ready to march." Said Gothmog.
"And the catapults?" Replied Travis.
"Loaded my lord." Said Gothmog.
Travis nodded his head and ordered. "Then have Faramir's horse return him back to Minas Tirith. And have the army march on to Minas Tirith."
Gothmog left, to fulfill his orders. Minutes went by and Travis could hear the large stomps of the orc army and cave trolls march towards Minas Tirith.
"Well Sadron, I guess we should join the orc army and Gothmog now. Let's get this over with." Replied Travis.
Travis rode Sadron over to Gothmog. The orc army started marching, and Gothmog and Travis rode in the middle of the orc army. When the orc's reached Minas Tirith, the gates opened to let Faramir, who was pierced with two arrows and dangling from his horse's stirrups, through.
Gothmog and Travis rode further before they stopped.
"Prepare the catapults." Said Travis.
"Release the prisoner's." Replied Gothmog as he hopped off his warg.
All of the catapults fired, releasing the heads of dead Minas Tirith soldiers, over the walls and into the city.
Travis rode even closer to the front line and yelled. "Load the catapults with fire boulders."
The cave trolls picked up boulders, from the piles, and began loading the catapults with them. Once that was done, the orc's fired them at Minas Tirith. Travis could hear the screams and cries of people from behind the wall of Minas Tirith. Travis couldn't bare to think about the women and children behind those walls. Minas Tirith retaliated by firing catapults of their own. Parts of the orc army were even crushed by the boulders.
One was headed towards Travis and Gothmog. Gothmog stepped out of the way, while the boulder landed in front of Travis, causing Sadron to rear up on his legs. At that moment, Travis became completely mad. He lost all control of his emotions. Deep down he had no idea where he stood anymore.
"Send the Witch-king of Angmar and the fell beasts in." Said Travis.
The Witch-king of Angmar flew in on his fell beast. He started screeching as the fell beasts picked up soldiers and threw them from huge heights.
"Break down the gate." Replied Travis.
When the gate was broken, orc's and men collided in a epic battle. Blood was being shed and innocent lives were taken. Weapons clashed with each other. Travis wanted to stop everything, but he couldn't. At that point, their was nothing he could do, but stay back as men and orc's fought.
