Chapter 28 - (Father issues.)

Chapter 28:

The sky was no longer bright. It became dark and gloomy once Travis made it back to Mordor. It was a long ride, but it felt even longer because Travis couldn't stop thinking about Arwen. He wanted to stay with her, but he knew that if he did that, then his father would question his motives. Travis stopped in front of the black gate, while he waited for the cave trolls and orcs to open it. Once it was open enough for him to ride through, Travis trotted Sadron through. In Mordor, the ground was warm and dark. There was nothing nice there. It made him appreciate the time he had in Minas Tirith, Rivendell, Rohan and many more of Middle Earth's realms.

Travis galloped all the way to Barad-dur-tower, where he hopped off Sadron and walked all the way up to the top. Being home felt so weird. It didn't feel like home anymore to him. Once he reached the top, his father's attention turned to him.

Travis kneeled down and said. "My lord Sauron."

"Rise Travis. I see you are the only one who has returned from the battle of Minas Tirith." Replied Sauron.

"Yes father." Said Travis.

"And why is that? Why is it that you are the only one who is returning and everyone else isn't? It seems a little suspicious don't you think." Replied Sauron.

"I agree completely father. However, it is not my fault your armies and servants had failed your every wish. However, I have not. Left and right I have proved my allegiance to you." Said Travis.

"And for that, I am grateful." Replied Sauron.

The eye of Sauron looked down at him. It created a figure of his father Sauron, even though it was impossible for him to leave his physical form. He was wearing his metal armor, as he started to approach Travis.

"I sense a change in your heart, Travis. It's no longer black and filled with hatred. What happened since you left Mordor?" Said Sauron.

"Nothing. Nothing has happened father." Replied Travis.

"Why do I sense that you're lying?" Said Sauron.

Travis did not look up at Sauron. He was looking down at the ground, trying to avoid eye contact with his father. Sauron lifted his hand up and smacked him across the face, as his armor scratched the side of his cheek. His face was flung to the side. Travis slowly looked up at his father. He was use to this type of punishment, whenever he did something wrong.

"Answer me Travis. Do not disobey me." Replied Sauron.

Something inside of Travis snapped. He lost control of his body. He was filled with anger and rage, to where he took his dual blades out and put them up to his father's neck.

"I left Mordor and saw more to life. I didn't see the hatred and violence that you put in me. I saw light instead of darkness. I made friends and fell in love. I no longer have passion for killing or doing your evil bidding. An army of men are on their way here to stop you. And for goodness sake, I hope they defeat you once and for all." Said Travis.

Sauron became mad. He knocked the dual blades away and grabbed Travis by the throat. His hands grabbed his wrist, trying to make him let go of his throat. Sauron lifted Travis up by the throat.

"Ungrateful child. I took you in when you were just an infant. If it wasn't for me you would be dead. I expect loyalty from you. This type of disobedience will not be tolerated." Replied Sauron.

Just before Sauron could finish him off, a disturbance was coming from the black gate. Sauron's physical form disappeared, causing Travis to fall to the ground. His attention turned to the gate, where an army of men were waiting to fight his remaining forces. Travis was having a hard time breathing. His eyes were heavy and he became tired. Travis could not move any parts of his body.

"Arwen." Travis said to himself.
