Chapter 29 - (End of the war.)

Chapter 29:

The battle of the black gate had commenced. Princess Arwen found herself killing every orc in her path. She paused for a second, only to see the men around her do their best to kill the orc army. Princess Arwen heard a horse neigh from behind her, so she turned around to see Travis's horse Sadron galloping towards her. Princess Arwen immediately knew that something was wrong because Travis wasn't on his horse. So what was Sadron doing?

Princess Arwen ran over to Sadron and grabbed the reins.

"Where is Travis, Sadron?" Said Princess Arwen.

Princess Arwen hopped onto Sadron and he took her through the orc army. They went past the black gate and he started heading towards Barad-dur-tower. Princess Arwen didn't know what to think. What happened to Travis? She hopped that he was alright and that she was going to make it in time.

When she made it to the tower, Princess Arwen hopped off Sadron and ran up the stairs, to the top of the tower. At the top of the tower, she saw Travis lying on the ground. Princess Arwen rushed over to him and picked him up from the ground. She held him in her arms.

"Travis, Travis!" Said Princess Arwen.

He did not answer her, nor did he open his eyes. She knew right then and there that something was wrong with him. Just then, a loud sound came from the top of the tower. It came from Sauron. It was a scream of pain. Princess Arwen turned her head towards the volcano and knew that Frodo had destroyed the ring in Mount Doom. Princess Arwen picked up Travis and carried him down the tower to Sadron. She placed him in front of her, while she rode behind him.

"Run Sadron!" Said Princess Arwen.

Sadron quickly picked up the pace. He ran across Mordor, heading back to the Black Gate. Princess Arwen looked back and saw Barad-dur-tower starting to collapse. The ground became unsteady. She looked forward and saw the orc army flee.

"Arwen." Replied Travis.

Princess Arwen looked down, his eyes slightly open.

"Travis, you're alright. Hang in there, I'm gonna get you some help." Said Princess Arwen.

"Is it done?" Replied Travis.

"Yes, yes we won." Said Princess Arwen.

"Good." Replied Travis as he started to drift away and his eyes began to close.

"Travis? Travis wake up!" Said Princess Arwen.

Travis did not respond, nor did he open his eyes. Princess Arwen knew that he was losing her and that was something she can't have happen. She made Sadron run faster than he was. When they made it out of Mordor and back to the army, Princess Arwen flagged down Gandalf the White. He rushed over to her side and helped her get Travis off his horse.

"Help him Gandalf." Said Princess Arwen.

"There is nothing I can do. He must see Lord Elrond in Rivendell." Replied Gandalf the White.

There was no way she could get him to Rivendell in a short amount of time. And she couldn't take him there because it would be too late. Arwen began to cry.

"Allow me to help." Said Gandalf the White.

An eagle swept down and picked Travis up with it's feet. The eagle flew Travis away, to where Arwen could only guess was Rivendell.

"My heart shall weep until I see you again." Replied Princess Arwen as she watched the eagle fly away.
