Chapter 18:
It didn't take long for the orc's to send up ladders, so they could breach their defenses. Elves and men began pulling out swords, so they could fight the orc's coming up the wall. Travis pulled out his dual blades and fought every orc that he could. Gimil and Legolas began counting kills, as if this was a game for them to play. Orc's even went over the gate, so they could try and pass through.
An orc pushed Travis towards the edge of the wall, to where he had almost fell off the wall and onto the ground. His heart started pounding by the scare. Travis looked out at the orc army and saw several orc's carrying bombs underneath the wall. He knew that it wouldn't be long before the suicide orc would run through the bombs with fire, igniting them and causing a huge explosion.
Travis turned around and got back on his feet. He grasped his dual blades tight and began fighting the orc. He ended up stabbing it in the head, as his revenge for pushing him. Once the orc fell to the ground, he immediately began looking for Legolas. He needed him to know that a suicide orc would be coming. Travis rushed over to him.
"Legolas, orc's have put explosives under the wall. Soon there will be an orc rushing to the explosives, so the wall will blow up. We have got to stop him before he reaches the explosives!" Said Travis.
Travis then heard Aragon call for Legolas. He knew right then that the suicide orc had been found in the huge army of orcs. He ordered Legolas to shoot him down, but much as Legolas tried, the orc kept pushing on with everything he had. Then, the Helms Deep wall blew up. Men, elves and orc's came flying through the air. Bricks from the wall crumbled and flew up in the air, until they came crashing down on everybody.
The explosion pushed Travis back, causing him to fall down to the ground. He wasn't hurt to bad, but he had a lot of pain in his back and head. Travis slowly got up and put his hand to his head. Things around him were in slow motion. He saw men and elves dying right in front of him. He saw orc's breaching Helms Deep and killing everyone in their path. Travis has never seen so much violence in his life. It hurt his heart to see. How could he let this happen? He should have never done what his father Sauron wished of him. Travis wished things could be different, but he knew that was never possible.
His blood boiled with anger. What was he supposed to do next?
