Chapter 19:
Travis was fighting orc's around him, when Aragon ordered everyone to fall back to the keep. Travis didn't hesitate to that order. He started heading towards the keep, when he saw Princess Arwen rush up a fleet of stairs to her friend Haldir. Travis quickly followed after her killing any orc in his way. When he got to Princess Arwen, he saw that Haldir had already passed.
"Arwen we need to go! Arwen come on!" Said Travis.
Princess Arwen quickly stood up and they ran back to the keep. Orc's had destroyed the gate and were trying to enter the keep. Travis started looking for Princess Arwen, while Aragon and Gimil went to defend the gate, so that Theoden's people could try to repair it. As much as Travis would like that to work, he knew that it wouldn't do them any good. The orc's had breached the keep as well. Right now, it was only a matter of time before they all would be dead.
"Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them with me." Said Princess Arwen.
Travis looked up when he heard those words. He had not expected a woman such as Arwen to say those words. Even though, all hope has been lost, Arwen still wanted to fight to the very end.
"Sadron." Replied Travis.
Sadron trotted over to him. Travis then climbed up on his horse. Travis held the reins and waited for Theoden, Gimil, Aragon and Legolas. They prepared to storm out of there and fight the orc's ahead of them. Travis hoped they had some master plan besides being completely stupid, but he wasn't going to stop anyway.
They charged out and met the army of orcs. When they made it outside, Travis saw that the sun had risen. He eventually found himself fighting the orc's on his horse. Then, there was a bright light coming from the top of a hill. It blinded him for a moment, but then he could see that is was Gandalf on Shadowfax, and he wasn't alone.
Gandalf had brought the men of Rohan. Enough men on horse's to fight back the orc army. Help had finally come. They charged down on horseback, towards the orc army. Travis began to smile. All of the orc's, including him, had been blinded by the light.
Rohan had chased off the remaining orc's. They all had fled into the forest. Travis thought that he was going to be in big trouble with his father Sauron, since a majority of the orc's fled, but the trees in the forest had awoken from their slumber and killed the remaining orc's. Travis felt a huge relief. As men lined up to see the orc's die, Travis remained behind. The battle was over and it was time for him to be on his way, before things got bad for him.
