Chapter 20:
Princess Arwen turned her head, to look back at Travis. He was alone in the back of the men. He was seated on his saddle, while his horse stood still. His dual blades were put away, as if he was ready to ride. Princess Arwen turned her horse and rode after him. Her long brown ponytail blew in the air, from the slight breeze. When she made it over to Travis, he didn't say anything. He just smiled at her.
"Thank you Travis. For fighting with us elves and men." Said Princess Arwen.
Travis had a smile on his face. He then looked down at his hands. Princess Arwen loved his smile. It was something that brought happiness to her heart, in a time of sadness. Even though he looked happy, Princess Arwen could tell that something was bothering him.
"What's wrong?" Said Princess Arwen.
"I must go, Arwen. You have won this battle, but there are more to come. And I must be on my way before Gandalf becomes aware of me." Replied Travis.
"Stay. I will tell him what you have done. I am sure he will understand." Said Princess Arwen.
"I can't. I must return to Mordor, to my father before he gets suspicious of things. I hope that I will get to see you again, Princess Arwen. But, for now I must be on my way." Replied Travis.
Princess Arwen was sad to hear that she didn't want Travis to leave. He rode his horse to meet her and stopped on the side. Travis then leaned in and kissed her on the lips goodbye.
"Arwen. I will never forget you." Said Travis.
Travis rode his horse into a gallop. He galloped up the hill and stopped at the very top. He looked down at Princess Arwen and smiled down at her. Her heart sank. She was going to miss him so much.
"Goodbye." Replied Princess Arwen.
Travis continued riding off. It wasn't long before he disappeared over the hill. Princess Arwen could no longer see him. She hoped that she would see him again. For if she didn't then her heart would forever be sad. Things were never going to be the same.
