Chapter 13 - (Being followed.)

Chapter 13:

But the time Travis caught up with the Uruk Hai's, it was already too late. He found all of their bodies, piled together with some orc maggots as well. Travis rode Sadron around the dead orc's, so he could search every inch. He looked all over the place, but could not find the hobbits. He felt relieved to know that they weren't harmed, however, he was also disappointed.

Soon enough, an arrow fired by his cheek, causing the arrow to scratch the side of his face. His hand quickly shot up to his face. Travis touched the scratch on his cheek and lowered his hand down. He looked at his hand and saw blood on it. He knew right then that the scratch was starting to bleed. He turned around to see Aragon, Gimil and Legolas running in his direction. To avoid being caught or noticed, Travis quickly rode Sadron into the forest for cover.

He eventually stopped near a stream of water and started dabbing his face with the water. His cheeks stung for a moment, every time he washed it out with water. When it stopped bleeding, he patted his cheek with a cloth, so he could dry it off.

He heard twigs snap behind him. He quickly stood up and went over to his horse. He grabbed his dual blades and looked around. He could see no one at first, but as seconds passed he eventually saw Aragon and Legolas. He assumed that Gimil was with them, even though he couldn't see him.

All three kept walking deeper into the forest. Travis had no idea why they were in the forest, but he was curious to find out. So, he followed on foot, behind them. He kept to the shadows, so that no one could see him. He made sure that his cloak was covering his face and kept pursuing them.

Aragon, Gimil and Legolas were looking in the forest, for the two hobbits. They have been following the trail of orc blood, as they search for them in a forest that was filled with sadness and anger. Legolas could hear the tress talking with each other. In a way, the forest had similar features to Mirkwood, which no doubt reminded him of home.

As Legolas kept looking for clues, he had a feeling that someone was watching them. He looked around but couldn't hear anyone. Then he stopped walking and closed his eyes and started hearing, rather than seeing. Legolas heard faint steps coming from his right shoulder, so he drew an arrow back and pointed it to the ground. Legolas peered over his shoulder and saw a figure in the darkness.

The figure was dressed in a black cloak and hood. The figure had paused when he saw it. Legolas could feel it staring at them, even though he couldn't see it. He expected the figure to be a servant of Sauron, but it didn't attack them. It simply remained in the shoulders and followed them.

He acted as if he didn't notice the figure. He then became aware of the white wizard. Aragon, Gimil and Legolas turned around and saw a bright light. The light was so bright that they couldn't see anything, but Legolas fired an arrow, which missed the white wizard.

Legolas also noticed that the figure in the shadows disappeared. Which was odd since Saruman was a servant of Sauron, however, they saw that the white wizard was not Saruman but Gandalf instead.
