Chapter 15:
Travis rode ahead of Saruman's orc army. He couldn't stand being near Saruman and being near orc's at this time would only make him go crazy, so he rode ahead of them so that he wouldn't have to spend days near them. Travis enjoyed riding ahead. For once he was alone and didn't need to worry about anything for a moment. It gave him time to think about things.
Everything was quiet and calm, when all of a sudden he saw a brown horse wondering the lands of Middle Earth alone. It was without a saddle, bridal, and even a rider. Travis trotted over to the horse, but as he got closer, the horse went farther away from him. He thought that he must be scaring it, so he took the hood off of his head.
No matter how hard he tried to get the horse, it kept running away from him. Travis couldn't just leave it like that, so he rode after it. The horse stopped at the edge of a river. It was standing next to a woman, who was passed out on the ground. The horse began nudging the woman with it's nose. Travis rode closer to the woman and saw that it was Princess Arwen. He must admit that he was surprised to see her there. Travis thought she was at Rivendell.
Travis needed to help Princess Arwen. She needed to get to Helms Deep, so she could help the people of Rohan fight the huge army that is approaching. What was he doing? Was he supposed to not care about the people of Rohan, but yet he didn't want to see them die at the hands of orc's. Travis stopped for a moment. At first, he wasn't going to even bother helping Princess Arwen, but then he realized that he needed to help her. He couldn't just leave her to die, so he rode even closer to Princess Arwen.
"Arwen! Arwen, you must get up!" Said Travis.
Princess Arwen didn't reply. She looked very weak. Her horse laid down on the ground, so that Princess Arwen could climb on his back. Once Princess Arwen was securely on, her horse stood up on all four legs.
With all the strength she had, Princess Arwen looked up and over at him. Travis had his hood off, so she wasn't alarmed.
"My lady! Let's go!" Said Travis.
Princess Arwen blinked her eyes a little bit. Travis could tell that she was slowly regaining her strength.
"Who are you?" Replied Princess Arwen.
"I am someone who is going to help you get to Helms Deep." Said Travis.
"Why?" Princess Arwen.
"Because Arwen, there are ten thousand orc's approaching and your friends are going to need all the help they can get. Now, follow me. I'll take you to Helms Deep." Said Travis.
Princess Arwen followed on her horse, as they both rode towards Helms Deep. It was going to be a fairly long ride. Travis stopped his horse on a hill, when he saw the orc army coming from the side of them. Princess Arwen stopped by his side and saw the army of orcs.
"You must hurry or you won't have enough time to warn the people at Helms Deep before the orc army gets there." Said Travis.
"Join me." Replied Princess Arwen.
"What?" Said Travis.
"Come with me to Helms Deep. Help us fight this battle and for your help I will reward you." Replied Princess Arwen.
Travis thought for a moment. As much as he wanted to help them, he knew he had a responsibility to uphold. He was suppose to help Saruman's army at Helms Deep. Everything was taken into account for, however, Travis realized that he did not like Saruman. So why should he help him?
Travis agreed to go with Princess Arwen to Helms Deep, so he rode to Helms Deep with her.
