Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Wedding Night That Changed Everything

The weeding hall was glowing with golden light . Flowers were everywhere . Music was playing softly.

But inside priya's heart ....there was silence.

She was sitting in her bridal dress. Hands trembling.

Everyone thought she was nervous .

But she was not nervous .

She was broken

Across the hall , amit stood near the stage .

History eyes were searching for her one last time . Tonight was he wedding.

But not with him.

Three years ago ....

They met in college .

It started with a small fight over a library book.

Excuse me that's mine ,priya said angrily.

And amit smiled. Then prove it .

That fight turned into friendship.

Friendship slowly turned into love.

Late night calls

Rainy day bike rides.

Dreams about a small house.

They promised each other —

"No matter what happens, we'll never leave."

But promises are easy to make.

Hard to keep.

Priya's father had business losses.

Debt was increasing.
