Woosh~. Thud. Pakura appeared right by Fugaku and Roku and looked down at Roku resting on the grass. "Wow, You really are something.." She smiled looking at the gravely wounded Nine Tails.
After all his plan had gone perfectly without any problems, it was as if he could predict the future, that level of foresight was even more vital than his strength.
Just as she was about to help him up, he looked up and activated his sharigan looking behind her. She turned around to see the 3rd Hokage and a dozen anbu rushing towards them.
Just as they got near they began to surround the 3 of them and the Hokage step forward. "Fugaku, Roku, who is this woman?" Hokage asked warily. Roku spoke up "Don't worry, she's my subordinate" he announced. Hiruzen looked down at Roku warily, but before he could ask more questions Roku cut him off
"Minato is sealing the Nine Tails, I would set up a defensive perimeter," Roku suggested. Hiruzen stopped and looked over at the giant nine tails, analysing its grievous wounds. He thought about many things in that little time but eventually decided to ask questions later.
He began to order the surrounding Anbu. And as he was about to finish his instructions when he was interrupted by the round of rushing wind.
"Woosh" "Thud" Almost 100 Uchiha elites began to appear around him. The Anbu rushed toward Hiruzen and surrounded him. Before the situation could worsen Fugaku spoke up
"All of you, your job is done, go back to the village and evacuate the injured" He ordered. Before turning to the Hokage, "They were just gathering to await orders" He attempted to comfort the Hokage's guards.
Roku then spoke up "Guys go back to the village and help the injured, Minato should be finishing up soon". They looked at Fugaku for confirmation and as he nodded they all immediately set off back towards the village.
Just after they left a giant amount of chakra was gathered by the nine tails. They all looked over in shock as the ninetails disappeared. Hiruzen and his Anbu rushed over to find passed out with a baby in her arms, and not too far from them lay Minato.
Hiruzen rushed over to check on Minato. He immediately checked his pulse. As he noticed the lack of a pulse and the seal marks on the mother and child his closed his eye in anguish
Just as he was checking the scene he heard the sound of someone moving, he glanced over to see what was happening. Kushina was beginning to wake up and as she opened her eyes and saw him by Minato tears began to stream from her eyes. "Minato he-" she sobbed.
"Shhh it's okay i understand, Minato is a hero" he comforted her. Just then he heard someone walking over, as he turned to see the young body of Roku limping towards Kushina.
Just as he grew wary about what he was doing and was about to order his anbu to stop him, Roku spoke out. "Lady Kushina, are you okay, do you need medical service?" he asked worriedly.
Kushina glanced up and began to cry harder. "Minato he- he AHH". Roku had never seen her cry, he had always seen her as a proud and head strong woman whose temper even Minato feared. He never expected to she a day were even she would break down
But who could blame her?
In one night she had gone through the pain of childbirth, then a tailed beast extracted from her and after all that and going through the sealing she lost the one who meant the most to her.
"I am sorry" he sighed looking down at the crying women. He leaned down next as if to give her a hug and allow her a shoulder to cry on. Just then he hit the back of her and she was knocked out.
Hiruzen looked in shock and just as he was about to resummon Enma and attack, Roku set her down softly and looked over at Hiruzen. "She needs to sleep, she has had a hard night" he said softly.
He then began to walk away from the field as Hiruzen watched his back warily. "Me and Fugaku will go back and maintain the village's security" he commented over his back. And set off back toward the village.
As he headed back towards the village with Fugaku and Pakura he began to think, "He still died," he sighed. He began to think carefully "Now all that matters is the other Villages reaction".
He remembered that Kumo would reinitiate the war in the original story but with Kushina living, and him and Pakura's existence the village had 3 extra low Kage fighters, he wondered if they would dare.
As he arrived at the center of the village and looked back at the destruction he began to plan his next steps.
