Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Mythical Dragon’s Birth

Planet Sin burned under a bruised purple sky.

The war was finally over.

Exhausted dragon warriors descended through the smoke, scales cracked and scorched, wings heavy with fatigue. Yet their eyes glowed with savage pride. They had survived. They had evolved.

One burly warrior rolled his shoulders, claws flexing as faint silver sparks danced along his arm.

"Hah… worth every drop of blood," he growled, voice rough with satisfaction. "To speak like this… to fight with purpose… evolution was the real prize."

Beside him, a sleek female warrior flicked her tail against his wrist, a playful spark in her golden eyes.

"If the war had never come," she murmured, voice low and intimate, "we would still be mindless beasts. Don't you see? We became something greater… because we bled for it."

The warrior opened his mouth to reply, a rare smile tugging at his lips.

Then the air tore open.

Space itself screamed.

A vortex of golden light ripped through the battlefield as a senior dragon materialized, arms folded, eyes like sharpened blades.

"Warriors!" His voice cracked like a whip. "The Dragon King demands your report. Now. The castle awaits."

Every soldier snapped to attention. In a flash of light, they vanished, leaving only silence and the faint smell of ozone behind.

---

The Castle of Sin rose like a golden dagger stabbed into the heart of the planet.

Its walls pulsed with molten energy. Elite guards stood motionless, their crimson scales gleaming like fresh blood. Inside the throne room, every shadow seemed to bow.

On a throne carved from pure diamond sat Dragon King Sin.

Crimson eyes burned with cruel amusement. His long black hair floated as if underwater, stirred by the sheer pressure of his aura. A massive tail swayed lazily behind him, each movement promising violence.

The hall trembled as he spoke.

"So?" His voice rolled like distant thunder. "We won?"

A kneeling warrior pressed his forehead to the floor, voice shaking.

"Y-Yes, my King! Total victory! The evolution spell is ours!"

Sin threw his head back and laughed. The sound was beautiful. And terrifying.

"Of course it is," he purred, arrogance dripping from every syllable. "Our evolution has reached its peak. The fools who once held the spell… now they are ash."

He reached down and gently stroked the head of a young dragon girl kneeling beside his throne. She trembled under his touch.

"My pets always deliver," he whispered almost tenderly.

Then—

*Crack.*

In one brutal motion, his fingers closed around her horn and snapped it clean off.

The girl's body convulsed. Blood trickled from her lips as she bit back a scream. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

"I… understand, my King…" she whispered, voice cracking.

From the shadows near the pillars, Queen Monika watched everything.

Her silver hair framed a face pale with horror. Pink eyes wide. Golden robes clutched so tightly her knuckles had gone white. Her heart hammered against her ribs like a war drum.

She turned away silently, slipping toward the hatch chamber before anyone could notice the fear in her eyes.

---

The hatch chamber was a cathedral of glass and humming energy.

Rows of incubation tubes stretched into the distance, each one glowing with soft blue light. Inside them, the next generation of dragons grew.

A nervous scientist hurried forward the moment Queen Monika entered.

"My Queen…" His voice trembled. "It is done. Your child… he has been born."

Monika's breath caught. Her hands flew to her chest.

"Born?" she whispered, the word fragile and full of wonder. "Truly born… not an egg?"

The scientist nodded quickly.

"Evolution changed everything. He came into this world breathing. Alive."

She floated forward on unsteady wings until she stood before one particular tube.

Inside, a tiny infant slept peacefully, a breathing mask over his face, silver scales glinting like starlight.

But the air around the tube felt… wrong.

Heavy.

Oppressive.

Like the entire planet was holding its breath.

Monika pressed her palm to the cold glass. Tears spilled freely now.

"My sweet child…" Her voice broke. "I name you Ares. Please… grow strong. Grow kind. I want to hold you one day. I want to protect you…"

As if he heard her, the baby's tiny hand lifted.

And pressed gently against the glass, right where her palm rested.

The scientist's power-level scanner suddenly sparked.

Then shattered.

*BOOOOM!*

A silent shockwave erupted outward.

Every tube in the chamber rattled violently. Monitors exploded in showers of sparks.

Monika staggered back, eyes wide with terror and awe.

"What… what is this power…?"

The scientist stared at the broken device, face drained of all color.

"Queen Monika… his power level… it just broke the scale."

He pointed a shaking finger at the sleeping infant.

"His tail… the scales are silver. And his eyes…"

The baby's eyelids fluttered open.

Two glowing silver eyes stared back at them—cold, ancient, and infinite.

Like distant stars that had seen the death of galaxies.

Monika's knees buckled. She collapsed against the tube, sobbing.

"No… no, please… not my son…"

---

**Flashback – Three months earlier**

On the royal balcony, crimson flames danced in the night wind.

Dragon King Sin stood like a god of war, voice cold as death itself.

"If anyone… *anyone*… ever surpasses me in power," he said, eyes burning, "I will kill them. Even if that someone… is my own child."

In the kitchen behind him, a teacup slipped from Queen Monika's fingers and shattered on the floor.

She stared at his back, tears streaming silently down her face.

"Why…?" she whispered, voice barely audible.

Sin didn't even turn around.

"When I speak… it becomes law."

---

**Present**

Monika stared at the tiny silver-eyed baby sleeping peacefully inside the tube.

Her hands shook violently.

"This cannot happen," she whispered, voice raw with desperation. "I will not let it. I will protect you, Ares… no matter the cost. Even if I have to defy the King of Dragons himself."

---

Back in the throne room, Dragon King Sin suddenly froze.

He had felt it.

That impossible shockwave.

For one heartbeat, his cruel smile faltered.

Then it returned—wider, darker, dripping with pure malice.

"Oh…?" he purred, rising slowly from his diamond throne. Flames erupted around his body like a living storm.

"So the child is finally born."

His massive claw crushed the armrest of the throne into dust.

"A mere infant… dares to surpass *me*?"

The entire hall trembled under his rising aura.

"Erase him."

A soldier nearby went deathly pale.

"My Lord… that is your son—!"

Sin's crimson eyes flashed with murderous intent.

"I have no son. Only a threat."

He raised his palm. Inferno roared to life around his fingers.

"Obey."

The soldiers hesitated, hearts pounding in terror.

In the shadows, the horn-broken dragon girl clenched her fists until they bled.

"This… this is madness…" she whispered, voice shaking with rage and fear. "He's completely insane…"

Sin's laughter echoed through the castle like the tolling of a death bell.

Far away, in the cold emptiness of space…

A single, enormous red eye slowly opened.

Burning.

Watching.

Waiting.
