Meanwhile from an unexplored area underwater there are some adventurers around five are exploring this underwater dungeon. As they were called to explore this sudden portal that appeared before them, as they needed to sketch out a map in the underwater dungeon. But the further they explored with their legs half submerged in water, and the more they heard an ominous singing as it starting to make their senses more uneasy. But then a loud roar then echoes through out the halls of the dungeon even the letting the water rubble a little. Quickly they prepared themselves bracing for the roar they heard from the distance of that unknown beast. Suddenly someone emerges behind the adventurers as they were a bit distracted, she revealed her scale siren body as it was Moria grinning mischievously.
"what do we have here, trespassers onto my own domain." She giggled,
Before they could react as she was quick to slash the first two in front of her aiming for their neck instantly killing the two. The three were shocked as she laughs for her kills, feeling the threat illuming the three remaining quickly ran for their lives.
"Oh do you have the right to run. No matter I do love when prey run, makes it for fun to feast on your corpse."
Using her water warp ability she submerge herself into the watery floor as she moved at a quick pace with ease and speed. Easily catching onto the three running adventurers as she gets closer towards the surface with a more mischievous grin on her face. As she grabs onto one of the adventurer's leg dragging the one down deep into her personal world filled with nothing but water leaving them to drown. She laughs at the person drowning a miserable demise, but still knows there's still two more. Going back up for a second time dragging another one down to her domain leaving another to drown, laughing once more, almost thinking of feasting onto her drowned victims.
She was about to go back up and finish the last adventurer still roaming around her dungeon trying to survive. But she then suddenly notice from a puddle from afar to a familiar ruined village made by her, looking through a puddle acting like her personal perspective orb. She was surprised to see her soon to be prey from the forest she let her beast injured them, still alive but are now riding in a wagon heading to Livestock.
She smiled happily "looks like I caught bigger prey. But that will wait for a moment" she then swim away from her domain as she still needs to kill that last adventurer. However as she resurface back into her dungeon, she already heard his scream echoing through the entire dungeon.
"Never mind he already took care of him. I guess I do have time for my prey" she cackled as she slowly cackled even louder knowing her prey is coming closer to their destination.
Elsewhere slowly the wagon moved as everyone is taking their time to rest as they are almost nearing towards Livestock, as Jin is levitating while resting, Ralian is preparing her arrows shaping them, and adding in some liquid to the tips of the arrow, as Gale is just resting taking their time to sleep till they make their way to Livestock. Soon Jin quickly wakes up from levitation.
"Hey Ralian"
"Yes Jin, what now"
"Is there anything you preordained for Livestock"
"No but all we need is to be aware of the Siren, and that beast we met back at the forest"
"Yes an actually Siren, and a beast that cannot feel anything no matter how much we throw at him, do you have anything that can stop that"
"The Siren yes, the beast not so much" Ralian that shows Jin some ear plugs made from moss.
"You made earplugs, great"
"These ear plugs can be used to nullify the singing from that siren as I can use lightning on her to defeat her. But for that beast it's hard to tell how to defeat him, because it seems he's knows how to maneuver through our attacks"
"So do you have anything that can follow the enemy"
"Jin that's why we have you, can't you use the wind to lock onto the enemy"
"Hehe you think it's that simple, but locking onto enemies is more of Venny's job"
"Oh, how so?"
"You see during the old times, when we're hunting some bandits that ran away, if Venny get on cut, or wound any enemies, and if they run away Venny can use his own technique known as Blood Alteration and there are many forms he can use but what he used was to navigate the enemy and allow me to use my boomerang to lock onto the enemy hitting him"
"So does that mean you can lock onto enemies"
"No I cannot, that's only thanks to this boomerang I have here making it easier to hit the enemy" Jin showing Ralian his Sabertooth boomerang.
"You know Jin I've been wondering, ever since you joined us, what's with the boomerang, is it a mementos, or did it belong to someone"
"Well you see this boomerang was actually a family heirloom, each of my siblings would carry on, since I was the youngest I have a boomerang with a normal boomerang but with some added markings also the family signature. My sister had also had the boomerang same as me but hers at the end had a curve facing up as if it had feathers. While my older brother had one with a blade at the end"
"But didn't you say that a boomerang your first found was at that mountain you spoke of?"
"You heard that from me?" Ralian nodded, as he sighs.
"So this boomerang you have in your hand isn't it. I seen many but never one like that in your arsenal" Ralian pointing at a boomerang that has red stripes and a gold edge.
"Vant's my brother, you guessed correctly. Though I been collecting boomerangs for quite sometimes, this one I will never forgive myself for what happened with Handikiz"
"Sounds traumatizing. But that's completely understandable after what me and Gale witness from a figment of your past"
"Yeah. But never mind for now. What about Gale, what's their deal, are they the leader of the Nightly Spells, or Crew"
"No not necessarily it's kind of like, everyone does their part there are now group leaders, but I am kind of the closest being one"
"And the others?"
"We don't talk about Yamma and Hazard"
"Sound like you two have a bad flow with each other"
"As we first mentioned, we had to kick Hazard out because he would try to say these big ideas for us but didn't match up, also he's not really a team player. But as for Yamma she's good, and I did learn a lot of her, but she kind of ditch us after we kicked Hazard"
"But since we're also on the topic of your team, what about Gale did they ever told something about themself"
"No but Gale has been secretive multiple times. But I do respect people's privacy, though it is a habit when we're sharing a meal together, Gale would just carefully eat their food"
"But did you try to peek underneath their helmet"
"Jin I told you I respect Gale's privacy, don't want to make them anxious to reveal the truth soon. Give Gale time they'll soon be brave enough to reveal the truth".
Suddenly from their long conversation with each other, Geek then made the wagon stopped as he taps the wagon twice signaling them. "That mean we're here" Ralian quickly wakes up Gale.
"Gale wake up" Ralian violently pushing Gale up and down to wake them "what is it Ralian" Gale feeling half awake.
"keep those eyes awake, as we are now here at Livestock".
Gale slowly gets up as they look through the back of the wagon as they look around the side of the wagon and sees a village drenched and destroyed, knowing they are soon to be into the territory of a terrible Siren and a dangerous beast.
