Meanwhile Ezrael is up at a mountain inside a ore vein looking for a specific ore he needed to reform his new sword, until he stumbled upon two goblins trying to ambushed him, but he quickly swings his chain sickle as it decapitate the both easily as he walks passed their lifeless body until he stumbled upon a piece of tungsten "this will do" he said to himself.
As he picks it up he places it into his pouch and heads out of the caves as he looks at the east heading towards Livestock as he feels something worrying about Gale and the others.
"Perhaps it is time to aid them".
Then with one leap Ezrael jumps towards Livestock as he can already sense the air being heavier and dense "Jin's wind" as he also sense a cackling lighting from above.
"I see, they already made it, but Moria already ambushed them" then a puff of smoke appeared as a Smog Hound approaches Ezrael as he places his head onto Ezrael's hand.
"Good to see you here too my friend. I need your assistance". The smog hound nodded as Ezrael picked up and showed him an earplug as the smog hounds sniffed the smog hound to get a scent, and began to follow the scent as Ezrael followed as they began to search for the Nightly Crew.
But before they had continue, Ezrael noticed some arrows on the wall, floor, even from the shape of the puddles. He was quick to conclude that Moria must be setting up a trap for him, but knowing Moria isn't the type of person to create directions, or even puzzles he had to follow to know further of what happened here. Following the arrows that Moria made, it let them towards a library. But as he observe the library he already noticed that there was a battle here, from the wind being more denser than ever, as well there were newly created slashes, and craters.
Ezrael then heads into the library to only see there were some vines slashed on the ground, and light pointing towards a single table with a book laying wise open. "What are planning Siren" he said as he walked closer towards the book showing what he needed to see to fully understand the whole situation.
Then Gale suddenly wakes up once more, as Gale looks around the aera they are unfamiliar with, but notice that from below Gale's legs were submerged in water, Gale can already feel the clothe getting wet. Gale then quickly looks around to see any of the others, hoping they are still okay from the fight, and sees Jin and Ralian chained to the wall as Gale looks back also noticing their arms chained as well.
"Great not this again" Gale recalling a time in the dungeons of Alvera during the fight against the former great mage.
"Ralian, Jin, are you awake?" Gale calling out their names as Ralian is the first to be awoken and slowly looks around her surroundings before getting her attention onto Gale.
"Gale? What happened, are we in a dungeon again?"
"It appears to be"
"Great, Gale, do you have any fancy trick to get us out?"
"No, not this time"
"That's just perfect, but do you think these chains have a binding spell?"
"Ralian I don't think Moria is capable of magic, beside her water warping magic"
"I'll try". However they then hear some footsteps heading towards their cell.
"I don't think that won't be necessary" as Moria is there in front of their cell, smiling deviously as she unlocks their cell door as walks towards Gale.
"Those chains are not made of magic, but you can't sprout any vines and tree little druid, nevertheless use lightning as you are all on water. One zap and it's goodbye to all" as she looks to them all in despair ginning.
"But since I am in such a good mood lately I can spare some time. Ask away" as Moria leaned over to the others with one hand placed against her ear.
"What did you do to the people of Livestock"
She then goes back to her stance as she was happy to hear that topic, "ah, the nature for humans to care for one another, as well as not getting anything in return. But as you know I was here on a task here in this now abandoned town. But as for the people, I wish I could kill them all one by one and enjoy their flesh, but given an order from my mistress was to not kill them unfortunately, but she didn't specify the living conditions, nor how they were treated" as they are multiple cells with the people of Livestock beaten, bloodied, even some were missing a limb as they were bandaged by Moria.
"But don't care about the people, lets care more importantly about me. I know you were all dying to learn a lot about me, don't worry I'll give you the time remaining to listen to my story".
Moria then started to tell her story of her past from her perspective.
It was only about sixty years ago when I was just a little hatchling in the waters, as I was first born into a tribe of Sirens underwater I had thought I would live a normal life. But misfortune had to be place on me and only me, as I wasn't born like my disgraceful Siren sisters with only a tail and vibrant hair. As I was born as a defect Siren, only having legs and a tail along with black hair with blue strands on the ends, most of my people were horrified of their newest offspring being born as a defected and wanted to off me off immediately when I was born, as as from their weak little minds to believe that it would spread to the other offsprings awaiting to be hatch. They were closed too, but the only people who cared for me, was only my mother that named me Moria Finna, though I was named as another the name I now used was more greatful for me and only me. But though she showed such care for me, she would then offered to exiled herself with me the newborn daughter away from the tribe for not to spread the disease to another.
Those retched elders agreed to her decision and exiled, me and her away from the tribe, as she adventures in the seas with me still a newborn, as we try to find a place to call their own. But fortune did sprung to us as we were hiding in a cave she would try her best to make her daughter have a good life.
As ten years soon to be gone by, those ten good long years, I was now a child and was able to wonder of how I was born as I keeps comparing my own appearance to my mother. But parents do keep secrets and my mother did wanted to keep secrets away from me as why they were living alone. Sometimes I would adventure out our home to explore the seas around them, as having two legs with fins made it much easier to swim and my tail keeping my balance.
The thrill of adventures were fun as always, until I have soon notice some sirens speaking to one another as they are sitting on some rocks as they are practicing their singing, and combing their hair. I was of course amazed by their presence, wondering how I could do what they do, as I looks at my own hair being black and I was a bit jealous by their colourful hair, I quickly swam back to our home as I would try my best to see what I can do with the colour of my own hair. Combing my hair is the first thing I did, but wonders what to use for a comb, I quickly decides to give the idea of combing my hair. But then I tired to practice singing the same lyrics the other sirens were doing earlier as my mother notice her own daughter practicing, and allows to teach me how to sing.
And other year had gone by, and I was well aware how to sing, still I do have a love for swimming around the sees. But I soon took a notice of the bright light coming above the water as before I was told by my mother to never go to the surface, as the people who lived above are savages and are willing to slay anyone whom are not their kind, and she was right about one thing. However, as they say, curiosity got the better of anyone.
As I swims a long distance till I pass the corral and rocks below until I can see grains of sand are reaching above the surface, as I slowly raises my head above the waters. I was amazed to see the blue skies, the yellow beaches as the light is shining below me. Feeling joy for the first time as I never could ever, took the moment to smiled happily, until I was soon to notice that there was a lizard being surrounded by a flock of birds as the lizard is trying to get into the sea. I didn't know what to do at the moment, but something in that lizard did remind me of my own past, I quickly began to approach the birds, getting them away from the lizard. After I saved the lizard I quickly brings it into the sea, but as I look at the lizard I had saved, I notice that the lizard only had two arms as he only has a tail as he looks like my siren sisters, except with the reptilian head. But as the lizard has taken a look at me, he immediately tries to swim away from fear, but I was confused and thought of this as a chase, going after the lizard swimming from coral to coral the lizard with the tailed fin eventually tires himself as he sees me lying down, looking at the lizard, as he was confused as to why haven't I eaten her yet. The lizard tried to waved hello, and I replied back with a wave back towards the lizard as we somehow felt a connection between each other as. I then gave the Lizard a name, Beak because he hand that sharp mouth he had, also because of those birds. I wanted to treat him the best I could so I lead Beak back to my home with my mother.
But when we came back to our home, I suddenly found a scent of blood spreading in the sea leading from the cave. Quickly we swam towards the cave to witness what truly horrified me to this day.
My own mother, floating lifeless with a spear lodged into her chest and barbs were stabbed into her body as her blood is being spread around our home as I looked in horror. I could do nothing but summon a loud wail from the bottom of my stomach, as it affected everything around me, irritating everyone's ears, even people from the surface could even hear the irritating wail so loud that it also irritates the seas shifting the waves. Soon my cries stop as tears were flowing from my face and Beak laying on my shoulder as he tries to comfort me. I first tried my best to give my mother a proper burial as I would spend her times at my home with Beak by my side.
Then Moria quickly stopped explaining her story even further as she almost shed a single tear, showing a bit of vulnerability.
"Did you at least find whoever killed your mother" Gale asked curiously
"Seriously Gale," Ralian disproving Gale's question.
"That I did. It was you surface mortals who killed my mother in cold blood. As she tried to escape, but the humans thrown a spear a she was trying to escape and died alone in our home"
"So that's why you were assign into this mission. Revenge on the people of Livestock"
"You may try to be clever, but revenge wasn't on my mind, as it was the mistress who wanted me here, but why, well it's simple, as she gave me these abilities and tasked me to make examples to the mistress if they don't cooperate with her rules"
"So was it like Handikiz on this task as well. Except his plans was only for revenge back at Alvera"
"Not necessarily his was more personal, but mine was just me wanting fun. But as for why she wanted take control over those weaklings, well lets just say they Livestock had wield power forever and were treating the trade industry badly, all my mistress wanted to do, was to make the trades better, and an added catch to give me twenty percent for what they will give to me"
Every time Moria speaks she gets more funnier but slowly becomes more lustrous "and you might think its all she wanted but my mistress also had other plans than ruling over Livestock"
"The implications that being" as Gale was about to speak, Moria then uses her water warp abilities to get into their cell and Moria grabs Gale's helmet.
"Hey what are you doing, don't touch Gale" Ralian shouting Moria to stop as she giggled a bit.
"She knew there were people like you who can potentially thwart her plans. That goes especially for you... Changeling"
As she then forcefully removes Gale's helmet revealing to all their friends Gale's true appearance his long white silver hair falls reaching into the water. As Moria grabs Gale's head by the hair. Forcing Gale to raise their face showing to them all a Changeling with a face of grey pale skin with the other half of their face singed scarred.
