One by one the three get off the wagon grabbing their gear getting themselves ready for what's about to begin, as they look towards the wreckage of the town of Livestock.
"Alright this is as far I can bring you all"
"Okay Geek stay safe"
"Till we meet again".
Geek then leaves the others turning his wagon around heading off towards the distance as Ralain quickly hands Gale some ear plugs.
"What is this for?"
"Gale this is for just in case we ever met with that Siren again"
"Okay. Just give me some privacy"
"Alright Gale take your time, me and Jin will navigate"
"What? we will!?"
Jin tries to hear what Ralian has to say with the ear plugs in his ears "Jin, take off the ear plugs. We haven't gone into town yet. But by far you and I can deal with a Siren that uses some sort of water manipulation"
Jin takes off the ear plugs "sorry. But actually it's more of a water warping magic"
"In any case we are the best ones to deal with water base arena as you has use your wind to swirl water all together, and I can shock the water incase our Siren tries to escape"
"Alright if that's what you want, then be my guess. Alright Gale we won't be gone for long".
Soon Ralian and Jin put on their ear plugs and went into the town navigating its interiors as JIn quickly summoned multiple wind constructs to search every part of the town. While Gale walks towards a nearby house and goes in, first check if anyone is around them, one there is no one around Gale takes of their helmet as they sigh in relief seeing a mirror nearby. Gale looks at the mirror seeing their long white hair reaching to their knees, their burnt face from his damaged eyes to his darkened eyes.
"Hope Ralian doesn't see me like this" Gale move the hair away from the ear then puts on the ear plugs. But just wearing the earplugs on their own, clinging in the ear, Gale finds the ear plugs uncomfortable. As Gale can feel how moist the ear plugs are.
"Maybe if I form my ears into something like a snake" Gale then uses they're changeling appearance onto the side of their ears Gale formed them into a ears of a snake, as they now have no ears.
"That'll work" Gale giving a thought to themself.
Grabbing their helmet and putting it on as they went out the house to find Ralian and Jin to see how their investigation was doing.
Adventuring into the town of Livestock trying to meet up with Jin and Ralian knowing they had a head start before Gale. But Gale is having trouble trying to traverse through the town from the puddles that feel like small lakes, and the amount of debris everywhere in the ruin town.
"Man it was easier adventuring through the forest, than this broken town" but as Gale looked at the broken town but some were still intact not damaged by the siren's rampage.
But the sight of the damage only gave them bad memories of his old village when there were still disguise as a changeling in a village full of people, and it being filled with flames instead of drenched in water. Gale can feel their heart beating their breath becoming heavier along with their wrists shaking.
"I should not stay here for long" Gale begins to run through the town fast trying to meet up with Jin and Ralian.
Until they spotted one of Jin's wind constructs "oh thank the metal tin. Jin should be near". Gale begins to follow Jin's wind construct as its only leading Gale to random places in the town almost as if it was lifeless.
"Okay how does Jin even command his creations... maybe I could ask him after this mission".
The more Gale ventures into the town with Jin's wind construct they are feeling more lost "his construct is getting me nowhere... maybe, what if I do this?"
Gale slowly forms one of their ears back into its original form trying to hear for anything. But as Gale does it one listen from a Siren's singing Gale almost lost control, their head feeling dizzy.
"From one song is that fatal. I need to find them".
Gale then tries to run forward looking around for their friends, but suddenly Gale sees lightning crackling as a bolt of lightning was about to strike Gale. Gale quickly raised their shield to block the attack as Gale was pushed away from the bolt of lightning as their shield was dented.
"That was Ralian's magic, are they having a battle?".
Gale moves their shield away as they see the silhouette of Ralian raising both of her arms ready to strike another bolt of lightning at Gale.
"Ralian? What are you doing?"
Ralian raised her hands crackling with electricity. Gale eyes widen with chock seeing Ralian preparing her attack of a burst of lighting, Gale not knowing what to do with the only choice but to fight back. Gale quickly went into a fighting stance sword pointing to the ground as the shield is protecting most of Gale's body bracing for any attack. Ralian was about to summon another burst of lightning she was suddenly pushed away by a gust of wind, and Jin bruised from his left arm was able to stop her before attacking Gale.
"Jin, what's happening?" Gale quickly asking Jin,
But Jin quickly leaps towards Gale with a burst of wind grabbing Gale as they quickly run away, as a hypnotized Ralian looks at the two running away as someone approached below the water.
"Aw, don't worry little Druid you'll get them next time" Moria commanding Ralian with her lustrous voice.
"yes ma'am" she replied as she was under her hypnosis.
Later once the coast is clear from a distance Jin lands with Gale as he summons a ball of wind surrounding them both as the loud noises of wind can negate from any harmonious singing. Jin then takes off his ear plugs, and Gale secretly under their helmet reverts their ears to normal for them to speak to each other properly.
"Okay Jin, what in her name, happened"
"Well long story short, Ralian didn't put on her ear plugs"
"Really, Jin we have time before the find us, what exactly happened".
Jin gives a sigh of air before telling Gale what happened. As soon as Jin and Ralian were ahead of Gale in Livestock they were exploring the town to find any clues to where Moria is located. Even Jin's wind constructs were having difficulties finding any clues, though they cannot not speak to each other with ear plugs into their ears, they were using sign language for communication though Ralian was having a bit trouble figuring out what sign language she would use to communicate with Jin, as he suddenly felt a presence nearby from the wind he summoned around him. Giving a sign to stop to Ralian as he brings out one of his boomerangs and Ralian follows as well, raising her bow as their backs are touching each other as they are needed to cover their blind spots. Until they felt a splash under their feet as they looked down as a puddle of water started to glow beneath them, as two hands tried to grab them and dragged them from below. But Jin quickly cuffed the hands trying to grab them with a gust of wind wrapping around the hands raising them up to reveal Moria herself to them.
"Man, to think you all were too dense enough to see me coming" Moria trying to give them credit but they didn't react.
"What is my voice already that piercing, that hurts" they both still don't listen to her as they notice Moria's face twitching.
"Hey you low level humans can you even hear me!"
Then the both started to feel bored as they looked at each other and nodded. Moria feeling frustrated at their ignorance tries to attack them. But then Ralian sprouts vines from the ground as it covered her mouth quickly subduing her. Once they took down Moria so easily. They then took off their ear plugs.
"So was it that easy?" Jin asked
"Not quite, we still needed to find what she did to the people of Livestock"
"To be honest, when you guys describe a certain siren to me, I wasn't expecting a defected siren"
"What you slain some Sirens"
"actually yes" Jin nodded as Ralian looked at Jin surprised of his honesty, "excuse me?"
"Yes before me and Venny met Dani, we once did an errand for terminating a rogue siren disrupting the seas"
"Could it be someone like her"
"Now that you mentioned it, her silhouette does look familiar, in fact, Venny once got his scar from a siren wielding a spear" Moria feels disappointed after hearing about her appearance.
"So should we get Gale"
"Yeah let's get Gale".
As they turned their backs away from Moria they then heard a loud roar from a distance that gets their attention, then Moria had her tail in the puddle of water as she pulls out her spear and slashes the vines covering her mouths and manage to shake herself away from the wind cuffs as they both look back at Moria, she uses her water warp ability to get distance away from the two. As with one deep breath she begins to sing to them, as they both immediately start to feel their bodies almost moving on their own heading towards Moria. Jin acted quickly as he sees one of his wind constructs are nearby and tries to send one of them towards Moria, but she then screams irritating Jin's ears covering them up the best he can, but Ralian also acted quickly grabbing her ear plugs and putting them onto her ears as she summons a burst of lightning towards Moria as she immediately dodges her attack.
"Jin, I'll go after the Siren, find Gale as I will distract her" as Ralian is dashing towards Moria chasing her with creating vines to get the higher ground to go after Moria the best she could. While giving Jin sometime to put on his ear plugs and go get Gale quickly before what will happened next.
