This is far from what Jin knows after he and Ralian split up as when. But Jin did heard a slight thunder from afar, knowing to was Ralian's lightning strikes, curiosity almost got the better of him. Just what to be safe, Jin had summoned a wind construct to see the situation, as he lead one of his wind constructs to help Ralian. Then what he last remember was trying to met up with Gale, as Ralian is already attacking them.
"Jin, also how did you know that your wind barrier can negate Moria's singing"
"Well I just thought that loud noises could muffle her voice"
"Okay then what about Ralian how did she got hypnotized by Moria"
"I don't know probably from my wind construct saw, the siren had out maneuvered her and took off her earplugs without her even knowing"
"You know that is something that might happened to Ralian"
"But listen the point is we have two problems now" Jin obviously talking about Moria has a druid hypnotize with powerful nature magic along with her lightning.
"I know, man this is even worse than what happened back at Alvera"
"Yeah at least there were built towns. Most of these towns were destroyed"
"Wait you said most right?" Gale asked curiously,
"Yes... why do you" Jin now questioning Gale wondering what Gale meant.
"Give it a thought why didn't Moria destroy other buildings if there is something she wants"
"Gale but do you know where she wants from this town, the food"
"Probably. But the east is known to have sirens most active. Could it be she could find more about her people to make herself more powerful"
"Well now that you think about in the old legends some sirens were able to fly at one point, but those were a different breed"
"Did you really did the research..."
"Well when I first came to Devandia I still needed to learn the types of species that live here. Thankfully the library in Alvera was very search"
"Looks like you did a lot"
"Yeah, though most may be extinct such as unicorns and changelings, but other mythical being do exist"
"Then you know a lot... wait we're getting off topic, Jin do you know where's the library?"
"Of course one of my constructs found it, I know where it is".
Gale nodded gratefully as Jin quickly puts on his ear plugs and Gale secretly forms their ears into nothing. But suddenly realized that Gale had responded to Jin without him knowing they don't have their ear plugs with them, Gale started to feel nervous, sweating as Gale slowly looked back at Jin hopping he hasn't notice. But Gale only sees Jin waiting for Gale to move forward, Gale sighs in relief as Gale shrugs it off for now and just preparing when Jin was going to confront them.
Then as Jin lowered the wind barrier as he unleashes a massive amount of wind searching around the entire village as he already senses Moria and Ralian, as well as a library near them. They quickly ran towards the nearest route to the library and still being aware of Moria and a hypnotized Ralian ready to strike at any moment. Jin quickly summoned the air around to sense if they're nearby but they were nowhere to be sensed by Jin's wind. But they made their way towards the library as it is one of the many buildings Moria hasn't damaged, as they go in they see a whole hallway filled with books not damages however there are some opened and some fell on the ground wide open.
"Well this takes back memories" Gale thinking to themself,
But Jin carefully tapped Gale's armour and Gale looks at Jin as he is giving a signal to search the place, Gale nodded. They stayed together searching through the library looking at the bookshelves, Jin notice that some of the books were read as the books seemed to be unorganized as most of it was in the category 'seals' 'species' and 'battle strategies'.
"What does she need with these" Jin wondered. But as they looked further into the library seeing more books opened, more disorganize, more being a mess around the entire library, it seems the library at Alvera is more cleaner than here at Livestock.
Until nearing the end of the library, they saw a desk having some books with special casing in them. Jin summons two wind constructs to look behind them as they open the book and they both see a bookmark on it. They flipped to where the bookmark was placed, perhaps this must be the book Moria was recently looking at, as it might wield some sort of information that they haven't seen.
Looking through the page with the book mark, they were shocked to witness that the page where they are looking at had a symbol similar to the same symbol that was on the back of Handikiz's neck before he was engulfed in black fire and burned to ashes.
Then Jin tapped Gale's armour twice and signal to Gale to take off the ear plugs, Gale suddenly got a bit nervous as Gale may need to take off their helmet in front of Jin. But Jin understanding Gale's situation, he then covers Gale in a barrier of wind and looks away from Gale, as to respect Gale's privacy as he was told by Ralian.
Gale sighed a bit of relief as he doesn't know, and pretending to take off their helmet making her armour shake a bit, making an illusion. Then Gale reforms his ears back to normal and knocked the wind barrier giving Jin a signal as he then quickly diminishes.
"Okay Gale this may be a problem" Jin still looking at the book where the page still has the book mark.
"Yes it is, the symbol, do you think she's trying to integrated into us?"
"I'm not exactly sure myself, but look at these methods" Jin shows Gale the book as on the page has a method that could potentially remove any sealing symbols.
"I don't think she want to utilize its power but to dispel it"
"Hey can't you learn this spell"
"No this something only the ancient people would know about"
"Like elves and dwarves, weren't they extinct"
"Yes but isn't Geek a dwarf doesn't that mean some of his kind still lives. Also could a Druids like Ralian can learn this type of magic"
"Wait how did?" Gale tried to ask Jin, but he was quick to answer Gale's question.
"Learn that Druids can learn black magic, I told you, I did my research back during my early days with Venny and Dani".
Suddenly as they were searching more information from the book, they suddenly heard a door bang opened, they quickly ready themselves, Jin quickly used his wind constructs to find Moria and Ralian as they may know that they are in the building. But it doesn't seemed that his wind constructs could find them anywhere, but then they heard an incantation, something familiar to Gale. Before they could act, a bright circle began to surround Gale as a beam of light raised towards Gale engulfing him in the light Jin was in shocked but needed to act quickly summoning a burst of wind he pushed Gale away from the beam of light rising upwards before it could do more fatal damage as Gale fell onto their knees but then fell all the way down groveling in pain.
"Gale are you alright" Jin showing concern to Gale while is groveling in pain as they feel it in the inside their armour.
"Gale take off your armour it will only get worse"
Jin tries to get closer to Gale grabbing onto their helmet, but Gale grabbed onto his arms. "No you can't, please no matter what if I am endanger or injured, do not take off my mask. I have sworn to never take it off no... matter the cost." Gale still feeling the painful stings throughout their body as Jin could do nothing for Gale except watch Gale in pain.
"Alright stay still, however we've got company".
Jin already sensing them suddenly getting nearer after they were presuming nowhere to be seen or sensed. Not taking any chances he quickly commands the two of his wind construct to protect Gale, and summons a flow a wind to search the entire library, as he senses that Moria and Ralian are here as he senses a cackling light approaching to the right "sorry Gale but this will be a private battle"
As his eyes begins to glow putting on his ear plugs as Ralian summons a blast of light at Jin and Jin quickly reflects the bolt of lighting back at Ralian and quickly grabbed both of his boomerangs but the sees a puddle of water at the entrance of the library as Moria emerges from the puddle of water as he knows this will be the fight of his life.
