Synopsis
In the wake of the climactic Buu Saga, during which Goku, alongside Vegeta and the combined might of the Z Fighters, harnessed the power of a Spirit Bomb to obliterate the menacing Majin Buu, a period of unprecedented peace descends upon their world. For nearly a decade, tranquility reigns, allowing the Z Fighters to relish the serenity they have rightfully earned. However, this era of calm serves as a prelude to the monumental events that soon unfold in Dragon Ball Super. Without warning, the familiar cadence of their lives is disrupted by the sudden appearance of a mysterious, magical pink crystal whose otherworldly energies envelop Goku and Vegeta. In an instant, they are wrenched from their home universe and deposited into an alternate reality-a divergent parallel Earth existing in the world of Akame ga Kill. Unlike their own world, this Earth has never known the presence of ki, the life force that empowers warriors. Instead, it is a land consumed by darkness and corruption, its inhabitants suffering under the oppressive rule of an insidious evil. Amidst this unfamiliar and perilous landscape, Goku and Vegeta encounter a group of valiant freedom fighters known as Night Raid. Driven by a fervent desire for justice, these individuals are engaged in a desperate struggle to overthrow the tyrannical Empire that holds the land in its iron grip. Recognizing a shared sense of purpose and an unyielding commitment to the cause of good, Goku and Vegeta align themselves with Night Raid. Together, they embark on a dual quest: to aid Night Raid in their noble pursuit of liberation while simultaneously seeking a means to unravel the enigma of the magical crystal and find their way back to the universe they once called home.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Teleported to an Unknown World.

Previously, on Dragon Ball Z, Goku and Vegeta fought against Majin Buu and succeeded in destroying the dangerous being with the Spirit Bomb. Before destroying him completely, Goku asked for the evil Majin to one day come back as someone good. It has now been a month since the battle against Buu, and the Earth is at peace once more. However, even though the world was at peace, Vegeta never stopped training because Goku had humiliated him for hiding Super Saiyan 3 during the Buu Saga. With this, Vegeta was determined to achieve and master Super Saiyan 3 completely.

Another day of peace was being enjoyed by everyone on Earth after the threat of Majin Buu was vanquished, thanks to their "Universal Savior," Mr. Hercule (Satan), even though it was Goku who defeated Majin Buu using the Spirit Bomb. However, some people didn't enjoy this peaceful day. Even though it had been five years of peace, Vegeta never stopped training during that time. Now, he had finally unlocked Super Saiyan 3 (SSJ3). He kept this a secret from everyone except Bulma and his family, as Bulma had helped Vegeta achieve and master it, finding a solution to stop the stamina drain of SSJ3. Vegeta was confident and happy about the results of his training and planned on visiting his old rival, Goku, for a sparring match to test his new strength, including his SSJ3.

At Capsule Corp, Vegeta had just finished training in the gravity chamber and went into the kitchen to drink water. Vegeta was wearing his blue training suit and a white long towel around his neck, while Kid Trunks was watching TV and eating junk food, laying down on the sofa. Vegeta opened the refrigerator, and the yellow light illuminated his face as he searched for a water pitcher. Finding it, he grabbed it and poured himself some cold water into his glass cup. When the glass was almost full, he slowly drank it.

Then Trunks noticed his father had just entered the kitchen, drinking water. "Oh, hi Dad, are you done training today?" he asked, eating a chip.

Vegeta grunted in acknowledgement, setting down his glass with a decisive clink, his expression serious. "Hmph. I've achieved what I needed to for today. Pathetic Saiyan's stamina. Bulma's adjustments are... tolerable."

Trunks, ever the inquisitive child, sat up a little straighter. "Adjustments? What kind of adjustments, Dad? Are you training to get even stronger than before?" His eyes sparkled with genuine excitement. He idolized his father, and any hint of Vegeta surpassing his current power level was thrilling news.

Vegeta scoffed, grabbing his towel and wiping the sweat from his brow. "That's none of your concern. Just know that the Prince of all Saiyans is constantly striving for greater heights, unlike some lazy brats who spend their days glued to the television." He shot a pointed glare at Trunks, who immediately shrunk back into the sofa, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.

"Hey, I'm not lazy! I was just… relaxing before training myself. Yeah, that's it!" Trunks blurted out, scrambling to his feet.

Vegeta merely rolled his eyes and headed towards the door. "Excuses. I'm going to find Kakarot, see if he's finally decided to stop playing farmer and engage in some real training."

"Going to Goku's?" Trunks asked, tailing after his father. "Can I come? I haven't seen Goten in ages!"

Vegeta paused, considering. He wasn't particularly keen on babysitting, but having Trunks along would make the trip less tedious. Besides, a little healthy competition between the Saiyan youths wouldn't hurt. "Fine, but don't expect me to hold your hand. Keep up."

A wide grin erupted on Trunks's face. "Yes! You won't regret it, Dad! I promise!"

Bulma, hearing the familiar voice, breezed into the kitchen, her blue hair bouncing. "Oh, Vegeta, are you going to go visit Goku now? Don't forget to take the prototype stamina regulator with you! I want to see if it works in a real fight." She held out a small, metallic device.

Vegeta snatched the device, examining it. "Hmph. I still think it's a waste of time. Saiyan pride dictates I overcome the weakness myself." Despite his words, he clipped the regulator onto his belt. Bulma's tech was usually reliable, and he couldn't deny the prospect of maintaining Super Saiyan 3 without crippling energy drain was enticing.

As Vegeta and Trunks approached the front door, Bulma called out, "Vegeta, wait! I almost forgot. I installed a new GPS tracker in your suit. Just a precaution, you know, in case you get lost... in the mountains." She winked, knowing full well Vegeta's sense of direction was questionable, even with his incredible power.

Vegeta scoffed. "I do not get lost, woman! I know exactly where Kakarot's pathetic excuse for a home is located. And besides, I can sense energy, why the hell do I need a GPS?" He secretly appreciated the gesture, though he'd never admit it. He knew Bulma worried, even when he was more than capable of handling himself.

"Just humor me, alright, honey? It'll make me feel better," Bulma said, her tone softening.

Vegeta sighed, relenting. "Fine. But don't expect me to thank you." He threw the white towel onto the sofa, opened the door, and stepped outside, Trunks close behind. He turned around to his mother and shouted, "See you later, Mom!" He said, waving his hand.

Bulma also waved her hand and said, "Be careful out there, you two!" Vegeta and Trunks were now outside Capsule Corp. With a burst of speed, they launched into the sky, leaving a sonic boom in their wake.

Meanwhile, at Goku's house, life was as peaceful and mundane as ever. Goku, wearing his usual orange and blue gi, and his youngest son, Goten, were training together outside their house, doing a father-and-son sparring session. Chi-Chi, ever the vigilant housewife, was doing chores inside the house.

The clash of fists and the whoosh of energy filled the air around Goku's small home. Goten, a miniature version of his father, darted around Goku, throwing punches and kicks with surprising speed. Goku, ever the playful Saiyan, easily dodged and weaved, offering pointers between attacks.

Goku, with a playful grin, blocked Goten's punch with ease. "Not bad, Goten! You're getting stronger every day. But you gotta put more power into it if you want to beat your old man!" He chuckled, ruffling Goten's hair.

Goten, puffing out his chest, grinned back. "I'll get there, Dad! Just you wait! I'm gonna be the strongest Saiyan ever!"

Goku gave a big smile and said, "That's more like it, Goten!" He said, feeling happy for his younger son's fighting spirit. Then Goten unleashed a barrage of punches, which Goku effortlessly dodged.

Then Goku caught one of Goten's punches with his hand, creating a shockwave through the air. Suddenly, Goku paused, his head cocking to the side. "Hmm? I sense Vegeta's energy... and Trunks's too! They're headed this way." He thought, looking into his surrounding, which made Goten surprised. "What's wrong, Dad, why did you stop?"

Goku chuckled, releasing Goten's fist. "Guess we're about to have some company! Vegeta's coming for a visit. Probably wants to test his strength again." A wide grin spread across Goku's face. He always looked forward to sparring with Vegeta; it was the perfect way to break up the monotony of farm work.

Goten's eyes lit up. "Vegeta and Trunks? Awesome! Can we have a three-way battle, Dad? I wanna see how strong I've gotten!"

Goku ruffled Goten's hair again. "Hold your horses, Goten! Let's see what Vegeta wants first. Besides, you need to save some energy for your studies. Chi-Chi will have my hide if you skip your homework again."

A slight groan escaped Goten's lips. "Aww, Dad, do I have to? Training is way more fun!"

Goku suddenly noticed something on the floor by a tree. He walked over to it and found a crystal, grabbing it with his hand. Goten tilted his head, feeling confused about the crystal his father was holding. "Hey, what's that, Dad?"

Goku scratched his face, also feeling confused. "I don't know; it's some sort of crystal, Goten. It does look rather pretty; I think I will give this to your mother later as a late gift for her birthday." He said to his younger son. But this crystal somehow felt familiar. Goku put it in his pocket, unaware of the mysterious crystal's true purpose.

Before Goten could reply, two familiar figures descended from the sky, landing gracefully just a few feet away from them. Vegeta stood tall and proud, arms crossed, his signature scowl firmly in place. Trunks, on the other hand, was beaming, eager to see his friend.

Goten, noticing Vegeta and Trunks, shouted with a happy face, "Hey, Dad, look, it's Mr. Vegeta and Trunks!" He said, pointing at the arrival of the two.

Goku stood up straight, returning Vegeta's intense gaze with an equally eager smile. "Vegeta! Good to see you! It's been a while, isn't it?" He said with a big smile. "What brings you here?"

"Kakarot," Vegeta greeted, his voice laced with a hint of challenge. "Nothing, just visiting to see if you're still keeping up with your training." He said with a serious expression, his arms crossed. "I trust you haven't grown complacent during this extended ten-year period of peace."

Goku threw his head back and laughed, a hearty sound that echoed through the peaceful surroundings. "Complacent? Me? Never! I'm always looking for ways to get stronger!" He balled his fists and struck a fighting pose, the familiar crackle of his aura briefly flaring around him. "I'm ready for a good spar whenever you are, Vegeta!"

Vegeta's scowl deepened, but a flicker of anticipation danced in his eyes. "Hmph. Good. I wouldn't want to waste my time on a has-been. I've acquired some new techniques myself. It's time we put them to the test." He subtly adjusted the small device on his belt, the prototype stamina regulator Bulma had given him.

Trunks, eager to break the tension, bounded forward. "Hey, Goten! Long time no see! You wanna go train together while the dads duke it out?"

Goten grinned, his earlier annoyance at the mention of homework forgotten. "Yeah! Let's go to our secret spot! We can try out some fusion moves!"

As the two boys raced off towards the nearby woods, leaving trails of dust in their wake, Goku and Vegeta stepped further apart, looking at each other with confident expressions. The wind moved through the air.

Goku grinned excitedly and said, "Ready, Vegeta?"

Vegeta, still folding his arms, responded, "Hmph... Right behind you, Kakarot."

Then, in a momentary silence, both Goku and Vegeta assumed their fighting stances. They charged, clashed fists, and started trading blows, each being blocked by the other, while they then ascended into the sky.

They created shockwaves as they clashed back and forth. But then, as soon as Goku and Vegeta clashed fists again, Goku felt something vibrating in his pocket. When he checked, he realized it was the crystal, and it was broken, which may have been caused by the fight but was also glowing for some reason.

Goku began to notice it and tried to stop the fight. "Vegeta, wait just a sec!" As Goku grabbed the crystal from his pocket, his face looked confused as the crystal's energy felt familiar to him.

Vegeta paused and said, "What are you doing, Kakarot? Let's just start our sparring." His tone was serious and felt a bit impatient.

Goku did not listen. As he held the crystal, it suddenly glowed with a bright light. The earth around them began to tremble violently, and a swirling warmhole like vortex of energy erupted around Goku and Vegeta. Trunks and Goten, who had just reached their "secret spot," stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes wide with shock and confusion.

"What's happening, Goten?" Trunks asked, his voice trembling slightly.

"I... I don't know!" Goten replied, his eyes fixed on the swirling vortex of energy surrounding their fathers. "It feels... dangerous!"

The vortex intensified, pulling at everything around it. The trees swayed violently, and the wind howled like a banshee. Even the ground seemed to be pulled upwards, as if trying to escape the vortex's immense power.

Suddenly, with a blinding flash of light, the vortex vanished, leaving behind only empty space. Goku and Vegeta were gone.

Trunks and Goten stared at the empty field, their mouths agape. "Dad!" they shouted, their voices filled with fear and desperation.

Silence was the only response. The two boys exchanged a terrified look. Something terrible had just happened. They knew, deep down, that their fathers were in grave danger, and they had no idea how to help them.

Meanwhile, somewhere on Earth, or another Earth that is, a young man named Tatsumi was standing outside the Capital city entrance. He was eager to join the Capital's army.

Tatsumi is a young man of average height with green eyes and medium-length brown hair with a cowlick. He used to wear a white, high-collar jacket over a tan sweater vest, a pair of black pants, brown gloves, and combat boots, but later changes his outfit and now has a more traditional white assassin jacket over a slim purple hoodie and a black base layer shirt with black jeans. On his back, he carries Incursio's key, a short sword with a chain-link tassel at the hilt, in its sheath.

(Tatsumi gives off a kind, generous, level-headed and friendly vibe. He was shown to be a bit arrogant and naïve in the early chapters, when in his first appearance he believed he could be given an immediate rank of Captain in the armed forces. He displays great displeasure of killing unless provoked as shown from finding his friends tortured to death. He shows great admiration for Bulat, though he doesn't agree to Bulat's displays of affection. Overall, he displays great comradeship and great promise of being a skilled fighter. Close to the start of the manga, his affection spreads even to his enemies, giving him a liability. However, with experience, he has learned to show affection for his friends, but none to his enemies. He is capable of great rage when provoked by his enemies, making him a formidable opponent.

His personality alters slightly as he merges further with his Teigu. While donning the final evolution of Incursio's armor, Tatsumi roars at the sky and momentarily acts in a savage manner. Even Tatsumi himself states that he can sense his mind slipping, becoming something else.

And through remembering Bulat allowed Tatsumi to remain the same person until Shikoutazer's defeat, once the battle was over, Tatsumi was finally consumed by Incursio and his body became its new host.

Once consumed, he took on all personality traits of Tyrant, but returned to his normal self once Akame had killed the dragon's soul. Despite now possessing a Danger Beast's body, his mind remains intact.)

Tatsumi, looking at the Capital city entrance with a proud grin, said, "Alright, I finally made it here at the Capital. Now all I need to do is join the Capital's army so I can help raise money for my village." He said, looking at the Capital city entrance, then he looked around. "Huh, I don't see Sayo and Ieyasu anywhere. Maybe they went to explore around for a while. Oh well, I guess I'll just go ahead and sign up already."

As the young boy entered the capital city entrance, the two Saiyans suddenly appeared in a faraway forest. They suddenly popped into the air and fell down, both hitting the ground. Vegeta hit the ground first, and Goku bumped into his back.

Vegeta groaned, spitting out a mouthful of dirt. "Kakarot! Get off me, you imbecile! What the hell just happened?" He shoved Goku off his back and pushed himself up, brushing leaves and twigs from his blue training suit. His eyes scanned the surroundings, taking in the unfamiliar, dense forest. The air felt different, thinner somehow.

Goku, equally disoriented, sat up and rubbed the back of his head. "Oww... I don't know, Vegeta. One minute we were fighting, the next... poof! Where are we?" He, too, looked around, his brow furrowing in confusion. "This doesn't look like Earth. The trees are... strange."

Vegeta looked at Goku and spoke, "What do you mean, clown?" He said in an angry expression.

Goku, still sitting on the ground, his expression turning serious, said, "I don't know, Vegeta. I'm not sure what part of Earth this is..." He said, looking at his surroundings.

Vegeta stood up, folding his arms, while Goku was still sitting on the ground, turning backward. "Obviously, you dolt! Do you see Capsule Corporation anywhere? Or your pathetic excuse for a house?" Vegeta snapped, his frustration mounting. He hated being caught off guard, especially by something so inexplicable. "That crystal... it must have been responsible for this."

Goku nodded. Then, as he looked at Vegeta, his eyes widened as he saw Vegeta's monkey tail was back. He was shocked and stumbled back, his eyes wide.

Vegeta, noticing Goku's reaction, turned around his head, his expression serious and still folding his arms. "What's wrong, Kakarot?"

Goku stammered, pointing a trembling finger. "V-Vegeta! Y-your tail! It's back!" He said, pointing his index finger at his back.

Vegeta's eyes widened in shock. He reached behind him, his fingers brushing against the familiar, coarse fur. A wave of disbelief washed over him, quickly followed by a surge of fury. "What?! Impossible! I had this thing removed decades ago!" He grabbed the tail, yanking on it with surprising force. It was real, undeniably real.

Then, Vegeta also noticed Goku's monkey tail had also appeared. His serious demeanor didn't disappear. "I guess your tail is back as well..." He said, addressing Goku.

Goku, still bewildered, jumped to the ground comically. As he looked at his back, he tried to reach behind him and felt a familiar, furry appendage swaying gently in the breeze. His eyes widened even further. "Huh? My tail's back too? But... how?" He scratched his head, utterly perplexed. "I haven't had this thing since I was a kid!" He wiggled his monkey tail, like a dog playing with its tail, a bewildered expression on his face.

Vegeta, still grasping his own tail, glared at Goku. "Don't tell me you're actually surprised, Kakarot! This has to be the work of that blasted crystal. Somehow, it's reverted us to a previous state." He gritted his teeth. The implications were unsettling. Not only was his tail back, a symbol of his Saiyan heritage he had long since tried to suppress, but he was also concerned about what other changes might have occurred.

"But why, Vegeta? What could the crystal possibly want by giving us back our tails?" Goku asked, his confusion evident.

Vegeta released his tail, his expression hardening. "I don't know, Kakarot, and frankly, I don't care. What matters is that we find a way to get back to our own world, and fast. I refuse to be stuck on this... this backwater planet with a tail wagging behind me like some primitive ape!"

Vegeta's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. "This is no coincidence, Kakarot. This crystal, wherever it sent us, has somehow undone what was done to us on Earth." He clenched his fist, his anger simmering. "I refuse to let this... appendage control me again. I will master it once more, just as I did before!"

Goku, always the optimist, scratched his head. "Well, it's kinda nostalgic, isn't it? I haven't had this tail in ages! Maybe it'll make us stronger!" He said, scratching his head as he laughed.

Vegeta, still in a serious expression, spoke. "Yes, it is. Our tail will make us stronger, but it is also our weakness as well. Remember that if someone grabs a Saiyan's tail, they will become weak. We have to train to nullify it, to stop exposing our weakness."

Goku, ever the pragmatist, nodded. "Oh yeah, you are right. It will be a weakness. I did remember back when I was a kid, I became weak if someone grabbed my tail." He said with an innocent look as he scratched his chin.

Vegeta, still folding his arms, his serious demeanor didn't disappear. "Let's see if we can sense any familiar energy signatures. Maybe someone else got caught up in this mess." He said, as he tried to use his ki to sense the entire world.

Goku nodded, focusing his own ki. He closed his eyes, reaching out with his senses, searching for any familiar presence. He was able to sense the energy of all living things in the world. But there was one thing that was missing; they couldn't sense their ki, only their life energy. After a few moments, his eyes snapped open. "I don't sense anyone we know, Vegeta. But I do sense a large amount of energy in the far west in our location." He said, giving himself an idea that it might be a city.

Vegeta, still in the same position, slowly opened his eyes and said, "Same... I also can't sense our families' ki, and the large energy signatures might be a city." He said towards Goku. "But I don't only sense a large amount of energy in the west side. I also sense that there were beings with power superior to an original human and simply very evil." He said in a serious expression.

Goku nodded, his expression turning serious as well and said. "Yeah, you're right, Vegeta. This place is full of evil energy."

Vegeta's scowl deepened. "This is infuriating. If we can't sense ki, our power is significantly hampered. It's like trying to fight with one hand tied behind our back." He paused, considering. "We need to find out what's going on here, find out why we can't sense ki, and how to get back to our own world."

Goku tilted his head, as he looked into his hands, trying to feel if he had indeed become weaker. But as he tried to feel his energy, he didn't notice any changes at all. Heck, he was at the same power level as he was back in their real world. He even noticed Vegeta's strength hadn't changed either, as he was as strong as he was. "I don't know, Vegeta, I don't feel weaker at all. I feel like I'm still as strong as I was before... I think ki doesn't exist in this strange world..." He said in a casual expression.

Vegeta scoffed, but a flicker of curiosity crossed his face. He channeled his energy, focusing on his ki, trying to feel its familiar surge. If Goku's saying is true, this means he also has his power as well. He pointed his left hand at a group of trees and fired a ki blast, obliterating the trees to nothingness, making Goku surprised.

Goku, still surprised, spoke. "Why did you do that, Vegeta?" He said in a curious tone.

Vegeta did respond, as he looked at his left hand, which had smoke on it. "I guess you're right, we did retain our powers." He said as he returned to folding his arms again. "I guess we are the only ones in this cursed place that can use our ki..."

Goku's eyes widened, a slow grin spreading across his face. "So, we're still the strongest guys around here? That's awesome!" He pumped his fist, his tail swaying excitedly. "Maybe this won't be so bad after all, Vegeta. We can explore a new world, meet new people, and test our strength against new opponents!"

Vegeta, however, remained skeptical. "Don't get ahead of yourself, Kakarot. Just because we retained our power doesn't mean this world is devoid of danger. We know nothing about this place, its inhabitants." He glanced around the dense forest, his senses on high alert. "For all we know, the people in this world are very weak compared to us. The humans in this Earth are weaker compared to the humans in our world. Their strength isn't even one percent of our true strengths." He said, looking at Goku with a serious expression. "We can easily destroy this entire planet if we truly wanted to."

Goku's grin faltered slightly, the weight of Vegeta's words sinking in. He hadn't really considered the potential implications of their immense power in this new world. He scratched his head, a thoughtful expression replacing his earlier excitement. "Yeah, you're right, Vegeta. We gotta be careful. We don't want to go around destroying things without knowing what we're doing."

Vegeta nodded, his gaze sweeping the horizon. "Precisely. I say we better suppress our powers to prevent destroying this world. We need information. We need to find a city, a town, something to give us an idea of where we are and what kind of people live here."

"Well, which way do we go?" Goku asked, his tail swaying back and forth, betraying his impatience.

Vegeta, still folding his arms, spoke, his stoic expression unwavering. "To the west, of course. We need to know where that evil energy is and know more about this unknown world..."

"Alright, let's go!" Goku said, already bounding in the direction Vegeta indicated. But before Goku could fly through the skies, Vegeta stopped him. Goku, surprised that Vegeta stopped him, spoke. "What's wrong, Vegeta?"

But Vegeta didn't respond as he held his tail and wrapped it around his waist to prevent anyone from grabbing his tail and also to stop it from wiggling in the air. Goku watched Vegeta wrap his tail around his waist, with a neutral expression, his monkey tail wiggling in the air with curiosity. Vegeta, securing his tail around his waist, finally spoke. "Let's go, Kakarot." He said, as he unleashed his white base form aura that engulfed his entire body and flew to the sky at a supersonic speed.

Goku blinked, a little surprised by Vegeta's sudden burst of speed. He grinned, his tail giving a little twitch under his gi. "Hey, wait up, Vegeta!" With a surge of his own energy, Goku matched Vegeta's speed, a white base form aura flaring around him. They shot through the sky, leaving a trail of shimmering light in their wake. The landscape blurred beneath them – vast forests, rolling hills, and sparkling rivers – all painted in vibrant hues under the alien sun.

As they flew, Goku couldn't help but marvel at the world below. It was beautiful, teeming with life, even if he couldn't quite grasp its energy the way he normally would. A thought struck him. "Hey, Vegeta, think they have good food here?"

Vegeta, maintaining a steady course, didn't break his serious expression. "Focus, Kakarot. Food should be the least of your concerns." But even as he said it, a flicker of interest crossed his face. The Saiyan appetite was a powerful thing.

They continued their flight for what seemed like hours, the two Saiyans saw a city in the distance, making their words correct. As they drew closer, the two Saiyans noticed that this city is kinda different to what the city is like in their world, as the buildings' architecture were different compared to their world. They also noticed that there is a castle in the center of the city, giving the two Saiyans an idea that it was a kingdom.

Vegeta narrowed his eyes, a sense of foreboding washing over him as they approached. "This city... it's emanating that evil energy, Kakarot. Be on your guard."

Goku's lighthearted demeanor vanished, replaced by a serious focus. He nodded, his tail now still and alert. "I feel it too, Vegeta. Something's not right about this place."

As the two finally reach the capital city, the two Saiyans were floating in the air very far away from the humans' eyes to see. Vegeta and Goku looked at the city with their own reaction.

"This is it," Vegeta said, his voice grim. "The source of the evil. Prepare yourself, Kakarot."

Goku cracked his knuckles, a determined glint in his eyes. "Alright, Vegeta. I'm ready, let's go!"

They descended towards the city gate, their white base form auras fading as they landed just outside the imposing gates, where Tatsumi entered earlier. The gates themselves were made of a dark, obsidian-like material, etched with unsettling symbols that seemed to pulse with a faint, malevolent energy.

The city bustled with activity, a cacophony of sounds and sights assaulting their senses. Merchants hawked their wares, their voices a mix of bartering and boasts. Citizens hurried along the cobblestone streets, their faces etched with a mix of eagerness and worry. The architecture was indeed different, a blend of towering spires and ornate carvings, all crafted from a dark, almost oppressive stone.

Goku and Vegeta stood before the gates, their eyes scanning the unsettling carvings. A palpable sense of unease settled over them, a feeling that this city was steeped in something far more sinister than they had initially anticipated. The air hung heavy with a strange, almost suffocating energy, a stark contrast to the vibrant, natural world they had left behind.

Goku's senses were on high alert, his eyes scanning the crowd. "Lots of people here, Vegeta," he observed, his voice low. "And that evil energy... it's coming from everywhere."

Vegeta nodded grimly, his arms crossed, his tail still wrapped securely around his waist. "This city is steeped in darkness, Kakarot. I can feel it in my bones. We need to find the source of this evil, but we must be cautious. We don't know who we can trust."

"This place gives me the creeps, Vegeta," Goku muttered, his hand instinctively drifting towards his side, as if reaching for the Power Pole he hadn't carried in years. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Vegeta merely grunted, his gaze fixed on the towering gates. "Be on your guard, Kakarot. This world might be weaker than us, but that doesn't mean we will let our guard down." He said, looking at the city gate with a serious expression.

Goku nodded, his expression also serious. "Yeah, you're right Vegeta, it's better if we were on high alert." He said, looking at the entrance gate.

They began to walk through the city. inside the city, the two Saiyans saw that the humans were equal to their earth. The two Saiyans noticed that this city, lack many type of technologies in it, as if technologies were never invented before. instead they, noticed that this place is like in the medieval settings, as they saw adventures anywhere. Goku looked around with a curious expression on his face, while Vegeta remained serious. As he knows that they were some kind of a dark fantasy world were you are in in the medieval settings. Vegeta know this because, his son Trunks played these types of games before, not if he cares about it.

While the two Saiyans were walking their presence causing a subtle stir. People glanced at them, their eyes widening at their strange clothing and imposing muscular physiques, some of the people even noticed that the two Saiyans have same tail in them, the people wonder if these two were even humans to begin with, some whispered amongst themselves, their voices laced with curiosity and suspicion. While the female were lusting at their muscular physiques, as they find the two very handsome. Goku being the naive he is, scratching the back of his head not understand what the woman were thinking. Vegeta on the other hand knows, but he doesn't care about what they think of them, as the two Saiyans kept walking on the capital city.

However, in a rooftop of a tall building, a woman with a blonde hair named Leone, looked down at the two in surprise expression on her face, because of the two Saiyans strange clothing's, and their very attractive muscular physiques, expecially their monkey tail. And also, she also feel something in her Instinct that warm her about these two, as she can sense a animalistic presence in them, as if they were apes, as she also feel the presence of immense power coming from these two. She recognized them as someone who was dedicated to fights.

Leone was a young, curvaceous woman. She had short blonde hair with two long tufts that framed the sides of her head and golden eyes. She wore a revealing outfit with a black tube top, detachable sleeves with what looked like gold bands, pants, boots and a scarf around her neck.

When she transformed, her hair becomes longer and she gains lion-like ears, a tail and claws. When her teigu, Lionel, fused with her, her hair becomes longer, and ears a bit bigger, she also sports out lionlike feet and many areas of her body are covered with fur, overall having a more beast-like appearance.

(She had a very relaxed, upbeat, and cheerful personality, and tends to display a lack of lady-like manners, often seen shoving Tatsumi into her breasts, putting her feet on the table, or consuming large amounts of sake and other alcoholic drinks. She serves as a sort of big sister figure to Tatsumi and the younger members in Night Raid, often referring to herself as "Onee-san" or "Big Sis". Despite the morally-dodgy nature that she sometimes displayed, Leone is not one to tolerate injustice, and can be especially vicious to those who commit the vilest of acts. She also enjoyed fighting her enemies a lot, as said by Najenda, who told her that she needed to change that habit.)

Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta continued their trek through the city, their senses on high alert. The oppressive atmosphere seemed to thicken with each step, the feeling of unease growing stronger. The faces of the people they passed were a mixture of fear and apathy, their eyes holding a haunted, vacant look.

Vegeta couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He subtly stopped and glanced around at Leone's location, but when he looked at the rooftop, Leone was gone. Goku noticed Vegeta stop and, looking at a random rooftop, said, "What's wrong, Vegeta? Why did you suddenly stop?" He said, tilting his head. Vegeta, however, didn't respond and turned towards his front, continuing to walk. "Nothing, don't mind it," He said, walking past Goku. Goku also continued to walk.

As Goku and Vegeta continued their trek through the city, they noticed a group of people in the distance. So they went toward the commotion to investigate what was happening. As Goku and Vegeta looked at what was happening, some groups of bandits were attacking a shop owner, who was an old man. The guards of the city didn't even bother to subdue the bandits, because the Empire is corrupt.

Goku's ears perked up, his eyes narrowing with concern. "Sounds like trouble, Vegeta."

Vegeta folded his arms, his expression serious. "Yes, I see that..."

Goku turned to Vegeta and said, "Vegeta, I think we should help the poor old man..." He said, wanting to help the poor old man.

Vegeta folded his arms. "Leave it, Kakarot, it's not our concern..." He said, not interested in a random old man.

Goku's brow furrowed, his tail twitching with irritation. "But Vegeta, they're hurting him! We can't just stand by and watch!" He gestured towards the struggling shopkeeper, who was being kicked and shoved by the burly bandits.

Vegeta remained unmoved, his gaze fixed on the scene, but his eyes held a flicker of something akin to disdain. "These people... they are weak. If they cannot defend themselves, it is their own fault. It is not our responsibility to interfere in their squabbles."

"But that's not right, Vegeta!" Goku protested, his voice rising slightly. "Everyone deserves help when they're in trouble! Remember all the times people helped us when we were fighting Majin Buu?"

Vegeta scoffed. "Those were battles for the fate of the universe, Kakarot! This is merely a petty robbery. And besides, these people weren't the people from our universe."

"Still!" Goku insisted, his kind nature warring with his inherent desire to help those in need. "It's not fair! They're taking advantage of that old man. Even if they're weak, they don't deserve to be treated like that."

Vegeta sighed, a rare expression of exasperation crossing his features. "You are incorrigible, Kakarot. Always sticking your nose where it doesn't belong." He paused, considering Goku's earnest expression. He knew arguing with Goku would be futile. The Saiyan was as stubborn as he was, especially when his sense of justice was involved. Besides, Vegeta had to admit, the blatant display of cruelty did grate on him, even if he refused to acknowledge it outright.

"Fine," Vegeta relented, his tone grudging. "We will intervene... but only to stop the immediate violence. I will not waste my time teaching these pathetic weaklings how to defend themselves."

Goku's face lit up with a wide grin. "Alright! Thanks, Vegeta!" He pumped his fist, his tail wagging excitedly. "Let's go!"

The bandits, a group of ten—six males and four females—a motley crew of burly men and women, were clad in roughspun clothes and leathers, their faces scarred and cruel. They were tearing through the old man's meager shop, tossing aside bolts of fabric, scattering tools, and smashing pottery with reckless abandon. The old man, frail and trembling, pleaded with them to stop, his voice cracking with desperation. The bandits were carrying short swords and crossbows as their weapons.

"Please, have mercy! I have nothing left to give!" he cried, clutching at the sleeve of the apparent leader, a hulking brute with a thick, unkempt beard.

The bandit leader sneered, shoving the old man roughly to the ground. "Mercy? What's mercy ever done for us, old timer? We take what we want, when we want it. Now shut your yap before I shut it for you!"

He raised his blade, ready to kill the old man. The old man closed his eyes for the upcoming attacks. Nothing happened. The old man opened his eyes and saw Goku stopping the bandit leader's blade with his index finger, making all of the people watching the commotion, especially the other bandits, shocked at Goku's action. Goku's expression is serious and angry.

The bandit leader's eyes widened in disbelief, sweat beading on his brow. He strained with all his might, but the blade wouldn't budge, as if it were pressed against an unyielding wall. "W-what the...?" he stammered, his voice laced with fear.

Goku's grip on the blade tightened, the metal groaning under the immense pressure. "That's enough," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You're not going to hurt anyone anymore."

With a flick of his wrist, Goku snapped the blade in two, the sound echoing through the stunned silence. The bandit leader stumbled back, dropping the broken hilt in terror. The other bandits, momentarily frozen in shock, began to stir, their hands reaching for their own weapons.

"Who the hell are you?" one of the bandits snarled, brandishing a rusty sword. "Stay out of this, or you'll regret it!"

Goku glanced at the approaching bandits, his expression hardening. "I'm someone who doesn't like people hurting defenseless people," he said, his voice firm. "And you're about to learn a lesson."

Then, the bandit leader grinned devilishly and said. "Very well then, kill this motherfucker..." he said, ordering his fellow bandits to attack, as one male and one female bandits raised their swords to attack at Goku. But Goku blocked their blades with only his arms, shocking the two, as he blocked their attack with his arms, and not just that, their blades didn't even pierce his skin. Before they could react, Goku unleashed his energy, making a powerful shockwave that pushed the two bandits and sent them flying, due to the pressure of the wind.

The remaining bandits stumbled back, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and disbelief. The shockwave had been so intense that it had sent a few of them sprawling, scattering their weapons across the cobblestones. They looked from their fallen comrades to Goku, their bravado quickly evaporating.

"W-what is he?" one of the female bandits stammered, her voice trembling. "Some kind of monster?"

The other male bandit, despite his terror, forced a sneer onto his face. "Don't be ridiculous! He's just a freak, a strong one, maybe. But there's ten of us! We can take him!" He scrambled to his feet, retrieving a crude dagger from his belt.

"Don't just stand there, you idiots! Kill him!" the bandit leader roared, scrambling back to his feet. He grabbed a discarded crossbow, aiming it shakily at Goku.

With a collective shout, the remaining eight bandits charged, their rusty swords raised, their faces contorted in a mix of fear and desperation. Goku, standing protectively in front of the old shopkeeper, braced himself.

"Alright, you asked for it," Goku said, a hint of excitement creeping into his voice. He cracked his knuckles, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. He hadn't had a good fight in a while, and even though these opponents were weak, it was a good way to stretch his muscles.

Goku moved with blinding speed, a blur of orange and blue. Before the bandits could even register what was happening, Goku was among them, his fists a whirlwind of controlled power. He didn't punch with the force to kill, but rather with only a force to knock them out, blocking and parrying their blades without any effort.

Vegeta, who had been observing the fight with a critical eye, scoffed, folding his arms. He could tell that Goku was massively holding back while fighting these insects. If he was in his position, he would have obliterated these insects with a single ki blast. But again, he knew Goku was a kind-hearted man and would rather spare his opponents than kill them, which was the type of behavior that irritated him the most.

A swift chop to the neck sent one bandit crumpling to the ground, unconscious. A well-placed kick to the gut doubled another over, gasping for air. Goku danced around their clumsy attacks, his movements fluid and effortless, deflecting blows with his forearms and landing precise strikes that incapacitated without causing permanent harm.

The fight was over in a matter of seconds. Goku, with practiced ease, had disarmed and incapacitated each of the remaining bandits, sending them sprawling onto the ground with well-placed strikes to pressure points. They groaned and clutched at their limbs, unable to move or even stand.

With the remaining bandits lying scattered on the ground, groaning and clutching their bruised bodies, the bandit leader, his crossbow clattering to the ground, stared at Goku with wide, uncomprehending eyes. "W-what are you...?" he sputtered, his voice barely a whisper.

Goku dusted off his gi, his expression returning to its usual cheerful demeanor. "Just someone who doesn't like bullies," he said, flashing the bandit leader a friendly smile. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before picking on someone weaker than you."

The bandit leader gave a furious expression, as he aimed his crossbow at Goku and shot three bolts at the same time. Goku, seeing the attack, only sighed because of how pointless the attack was. But before Goku could stop the attack with his bare hand, Vegeta instantly appeared in front of Goku, stopping the attack without even trying, holding the bolts with his right hand and crushing them, breaking them into two pieces.

Vegeta, still holding the broken bolts in his right hand, narrowed his eyes at the bandit leader. "Pathetic. Resorting to such cowardly tactics even after being defeated; you truly are the lowest of the low." He flicked his wrist, sending the crushed crossbow bolts spiraling into the nearby wall, where they embedded themselves with surprising force.

All of the onlookers cheered with happiness, as someone had finally stood up against these bandits, who had been terrorizing the city for almost a month. The other bandits in the group, groaning in pain from what Goku did, also looked at Vegeta.

The bandit leader, now trembling uncontrollably, fell to his knees, his face ashen. "P-please... don't kill me!" he begged, his voice choked with fear. "I won't do it again, I promise!"

Vegeta scoffed. "Oh, you must be mistaking me for this clown over here," he said, referring to Goku. "I'm not like him; I don't have his mentality that spares evil people." He raised his left hand, as a ball of ki appeared in his palm. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you die quickly," he said coldly, as he obliterated the bandit leader to nothingness.

The crowd gasped, a mixture of awe and terror washing over their faces. The silence was thick, broken only by the crackling remnants of ki energy. They had witnessed power beyond their comprehension, a swift and merciless justice delivered with chilling efficiency. The remaining bandits, their eyes wide with horror, scrambled backward, desperately trying to escape the Saiyan's wrath.

Goku, who had been watching Vegeta with a contemplative expression, said, "Vegeta! You didn't have to do that! You could have just knocked him out like the others." He frowned, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

Vegeta shot Goku a disdainful look. "Spare me your naive sentimentalities, Kakarot. These insects only understand force. Show them mercy, and they will return to prey on the weak. I have rid this world of one less piece of trash." He said, turning around and walking towards Goku.

Goku sighed, shaking his head slightly. "I guess I can't change your mind, huh, Vegeta?" He knew arguing with Vegeta about his methods was pointless. The Saiyan Prince had always been ruthless, and this new world didn't seem to be changing that anytime soon.

Vegeta stopped in front of Goku, his arms crossed. "Hmph. And don't think you'll change mine, Kakarot. This world might be different, but my principles remain the same. Justice should be swift and decisive." He glanced at the remaining bandits, who were now whimpering and crawling away. "They won't be causing any more trouble."

Then suddenly, one of the female bandits instantly appeared behind Vegeta mid-air, as she was holding a dagger in her right hand and was about to stab Vegeta's neck. Goku, noticing this, was about to intervene, but Vegeta, also sensing the attack, backhanded the female bandit with his right hand. The force of the backhand was so strong the woman's body exploded into pieces, as the impact makes a explosion sound.

The gruesome display sent a fresh wave of horror through the already terrified onlookers. A few screamed, others fainted, and the rest stood frozen, their faces pale with shock and revulsion. The remnants of the female bandit splattered across the cobblestones, a stark reminder of the Saiyan's overwhelming power.

To be continued.
