"I wanted more time with you during lunch breaks and they overworked you so I changed everything in your favour after I took ownership" he said.
She burst out into laughter.
Karlye blinked watching her laugh. Her blushed cheeks and closed eyes as she laughed amused him.
He found himself smiling.
"So you mean all those times I had alot of free time during lunch and had little work was because you made it happen cause you owned the company " she laughed.
He nodded.
"How much money do you have to waste it like that. So if I ask for something ridiculous like a city or country, can you give it to me?" She joked.
Karlye nodded with a serious look on his face.
"Name it and it will be yours " he stated.
"Huh! You're serious?" she asked.
He pulled out his phone, "tell me which one and I will make the call".
She took his phone, "Oh my you can't even take a joke. But really how rich are you ?"
"Rich enough to give you anything and everything you want for the rest of your life " he said.
"Oh, so it's a millionaire " she let out.
He shook his head, disagreeing with her statement.
"It's Billionaire" he corrected.
She gasped.
He pulled her closer, "So trust me love when I say I can give you anything you desire " he pulled her closer.
She looked dazed as he pecked her forehead.

"You want to go back to work ?" Mira let out.
Andriana nodded.
"But I am not going back to the company. I am going to start up something of my own" she said.
"Oh, what do you have in mind?" Mira sat down.
"I want to open up a Pizza place " she said.
"Okay, but do you have a plan for it ,I mean it's not an easy business since it involves food " she said.
Andriana pulled out her notebook and showed Mira. Mira read through the pages she had marked.
"This is a lot of research you did and it doesn't seem you just came up with the idea " she said.
Andriana smiled, "It was me and my sister's , our little dream. She loved pizza so much that I promised to open up omy own place so that she would have free pizza anytime she wanted. Even with her in a coma I still wanted to do it so I kept researching and saving up money ".
Mira looked back at her.
"So you have enough to open up one, right now?".
"Not really that's why I came to you " she blinked.
"How much do you need ?" Mira asked.
Andriana beamed.
"I promise to pay you back all of it the moment I start making profits " she giggled.
Mira chuckled.
"I would prefer if you didn't but I know you won't allow it "She walked back to her office desk picking up something.
"It's better if I do, I don't want to take advantage of our friendship like that " she said.
"Come on now, I would love to do this for you " Mira walked back to Andriana.
Mira passed her the blank cheque.
"Here, just fill in the amount you want and go get it " she said.
Andriana hugged her, "Thank you so much " she said.
"Welcome ..now let go your choking me " laughed Mira.
What Andriana didn't know was that the cheque was from Karlye. He knew she wouldn't take his money even if he offered to help, so he decided to send it to Mira, fully knowing Andriana would ask her instead.
She had told him already about her plans and he had offered to help but she refused claiming she had enough to start it. But he knew her financial status better than her.
Karlye had wanted to oppose the idea of her working again but seeing her talk about her shared dream with her sister changed his mind. He would support her in any way just so she could be happy.

"What do you mean she is your daughter now ?" Karlye barked.
His mother smiled.
"I mean she is my daughter now "
Karlye sighed, "mother you can't make Andriana your daughter that will make her my sister . And I can't ever allow that, I can never love her that way " he argued.
"Is she going to be my daughter-in-law" asked his mother.
He blinked falling silent.
"I plan to make her soon" he said.
"Well, I can't wait for that son and I heard from David that you haven't even asked her to be your girlfriend. Are you really dating her or pitying her cause she is carrying your child " his mother glared.
"You can't be serious, after everything I have done to show how much I love her, you're asking me that. And David shouldn't be talking about my personal life with anyone " he stated.
"Then ask her, I know you're staying together and she is pregnant. But still you need to tell her, make it official " said his mother.
"Yes mother " he replied.
"Alright, hurry up so I can adore her without making her uncomfortable. If she is your girlfriend or even better your fiancée then I will have even more reason to pamper her " his mother beamed.
"Son are you sure she will accept if you really ask her?" entered his father.
"What are you saying now, you old man " yelled his wife.
"Just think about it, she isn't from our social circle nor holds a status close to ours.She might find it uncomfortable or ridiculed by others after your relationship is exposed " said his father.
"I don't care about any of that and I will protect her from anyone who dares to point a finger towards her " Karlye replied.
"Son you need to consider how it's going to affect her. You claim to be ready to protect her but remember she is already trying her best to heal from all that childhood trauma and on top of that she is pregnant. I understand you wanting to make things official but take it slow, follow her pace not yours " he advised.
"Old man, that sweet child loves our son , I do get what you're saying but the least he can do is make her his girlfriend. The rest can wait " said his mother.
