Andriana passed Karlye some napkins to wipe the spilt coffee from his suit.
"Excuse me " he said getting up. They watched him head upstairs.
"See what you have done " whispered David to Mira.
"I don't do anything, he did it to himself. I only asked a question " she defended herself.
Andriana sighed.
"I didn't reject him " she let out.
"It sure looked like that in the pictures " Mira said.
Andriana glanced at the flowers in the vase at the centre of the table.
"I was surprised and embarrassed at the same time that's why I ran away. But we made up soon after " she said.
"You did, well those pictures paint a different story. And why would you be embarrassed, it looked like a beautiful surprise " asked Mira.
Andriana remembered what she had blurted out before the flowers had arrived.
"I told him I was moving back to my place and his reaction wasn't encouraging ...but then the flowers arrived, the band was playing and the banner appeared" She sighed, "I felt bad about saying something that made him angry after he did all that for me ".
"So you thought the best thing was run away ?" Mira scoffed.
Andriana looked back at her, Don't tease me Mira. I was overwhelmed. It was beautiful and so romantic but the look on his face was cold, I couldn't face him".
Mira chuckled.
"Well apart from you being exposed to the public like that, I'm glad you did. Now people will know that even billionaires can be rejected too " she glanced back at David who scowled.
"You said you fixed it soon after...so did you give him an answer to his question ?" David asked.
She nodded.
"He ran after me and apologised for reacting that way and I did too. Then he asked me ..and I said yes" She smiled.
Mira giggled.
"Oh my look at you turning red, just because you got a boyfriend now "
"I am happy for you both " said David.
"Thank you David ".
"But wait did I hear it right, your moving back to your place, why ?. You just became boyfriend and girlfriend so you can stay here, so why are you leaving". Mira asked.
"The only reason I moved in was that Dad was trying to harm me. But Karlye assured me that father won't be able to hurt my sister or me anymore" she let out.
"Andriana did you forget your information has been linked out to the public it won't be safe for you at that apartment " David said.
"I know but Karlye said the issue will be fixed soon so I'm not that worried. And I can protect myself " she said.
Mira reached out holding her hand.
"Andriana incase you forgot your pregnant now and will need enough rest and help from now on, your condition is still unstable ,it's better to stay here with all these maids who are happy to help you "
"Let her be she already made up her mind. And I support her " they heard footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Karlye.
"You do ?" David furrowed his eyebrows.
Karlye nodded.
"I do, my girlfriend can do whatever she wants" he said looking down at Andriana.
Mira leaned back staring at the two. Something wasn't right but what was it? Karlye would have been opposing the idea but here he was agreeing to it instead.
After breakfast Karlye and David left for work, while Mira offered to help Andriana pack up.
"Let the maids do the packing don't overwork yourself "he said to Andriana.
She nodded, "Have a nice day at work " she tiptoed kissing his cheek.
He smiled and returned a kiss on her forehead.
David kept stealing glances towards Karlye as they drove off to work.
"What is it, say it or stop staring at me like that " Karlye stated.
"I expected you to be all over her by now. You made this official and you're expecting a baby, so why are you letting her return to that place " he asked.
Karlye sighed.
"We can minimise the damage that's been made by this article but with her identity out now, that means that even the people who we consider our enemies found out too. This is putting her in more danger by letting her move back " pointed out David.
"I know but she insisted. I don't want to argue with her not in her state. The doctor said her mental state is vital for her and the baby to be well and I can't put her in any condition to compromise that " Karlye replied.
"I understand but explaining to her how it could be dangerous for her right now would have been best "suggested David.
"I can't do that to her, she has already suffered enough ,she deserves a little happiness. And if that is going to come with her opening up her own pizza place or moving back to her place ...then I will support her "he went on.
"You have changed ...I expected you to be possessive or ...." Karlye cut in.
"That's why I have decided to move in with her " he let out.
"What ?!" David laughed.
"She doesn't know it yet but I will surprise her later in the evening " he said.
David chuckled, "Didn't it occur to you that maybe she just wanted some personal space, away from you "
"Say it again and you walk to work " threatened Karlye.
David fell silent.

"I am sorry I didn't want to ask but I can't help it ,I am worried ' Mira suddenly let out as soon as they arrived at Andriana's place.
Andriana looked back wondering what was wrong.
"What is bothering you ?" she asked.
"You suddenly deciding to move back in here, what is the reason ?" She asked.
Andriana sighed.
"I haven't told anyone this cause but ..." her phone rang, "it's the hospital " she sprang up.
"Answer it " Mira got closer.
She picked it up and after a few seconds, she beamed.
"Really .... I'm on my way " she cried.
Mira watched her hang up as tears formed in her eyes.
"She is awake " she cried.
"Huh?....wait, you mean your sister is awake " Mira yelled out.
Andriana nodded her tears falling.
Mira grabbed her car keys, "Let's go to the hospital "
Andriana nodded wiping her tears as she followed Mira out.
