Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Attending the Wedding in Mourning Attire

By the sea, the night grew deeper.

Sparkle drank too much, and in a daze, she was helped into the car by her fiancé.

Not knowing how much time had passed, a strong shaking woke her up.

Opening her eyes, she clearly saw a couple entangled in the back seat in the rearview mirror, leaving her dumbfounded.

Did she drink too much and start hallucinating?

One was her fiancé, who had pursued her for five years, claiming to only love her, and they were supposed to marry tomorrow.

The other was her cousin, who always stuck to calling her sister.

Two people whom she had always cherished betrayed her together?!

"Lynn, don't be too loud, what if she wakes up..."

"Aaron, I want it, I want it now!" Linda Hancock coiled around him like a snake, seductively enticing.

"What if she finds out..."

"What does it matter if she finds out? You're with her for her company and connections; now we're stars, she's useless! Besides, after tonight she'll be a dead woman; what's there to fear?"

Knowing she was right, Aaron Lawson sneered wickedly, "Little temptress, don't beg for mercy later."

...

The two exercised vigorously while speaking lewd words, the car awash with a corrupt atmosphere, making one nauseous.

Suppressing her nausea and headache, Sparkle turned on the dashboard camera.

The intensely active couple didn't notice her oddity.

But to prevent mishaps, after a round of intense action, Aaron regained composure, carrying Linda out of the car.

Linda whined persistently in a low voice, "I still want more..."

"Let's first send her off." Pressing the car's remote, Aaron embraced her, rolling on the beach again.

"Naughty, you dirtied me..." Linda panted charmingly, glanced at the car rushing into the sea, grinning smugly.

Sparkle, rest in peace.

From now on, your man, estate, dad, and company are all mine; no one will say I relied on you to achieve everything!

Turning back, she catered to the man on her, moaning with effort.

But she didn't see Sparkle in the car quickly pulling out the SD card, opening the car door, and rolling onto the beach.

The car plunged into the sea, disappearing into the vast night.

Looking at the rolling entanglement in the distance, Sparkle gripped the SD card tightly, her knuckles turning white: tomorrow, don't break down with fear!

The banquet hall at The Sanctus Hotel.

Two hours passed, and the bride was nowhere in sight; guests speculated about what had happened.

Aaron and Linda exchanged glances, smiling triumphantly.

Sparkle would never appear again; she was already a corpse!

Suddenly, the door of the banquet hall was pushed open.

Sparkle, dressed in mourning clothes, holding blooming chrysanthemums, walked in.

Behind her followed a group of people in black, each carrying a wreath, creating an impressive scene.

Aaron's smile froze, his voice trembling with a low roar, "Sparkle, what are you doing?"

Wasn't she dead?!

Sparkle stuffed chrysanthemums into his arms, smiling pleasantly, "Holding a funeral for my fiancé."

"What do you mean? I'm alive and well..."

"No, you're already dead! From the moment you betrayed me, trying to kill me, you were dead."

"You're talking nonsense!" Aaron roared, but fear gripped him deeper.

Did she find out?

Sparkle laughed radiantly, "Did you forget? You said you'd only love me forever; if betrayed, a miserable death awaited."

"I did say that, but I didn't betray you!"

Sparkle sneered, waving her hand; the screen lit up, showing alternating bed scenes of Aaron and a woman.

Guests exclaimed in astonishment.
