"How many building does he own in the city ?" Mira asked.
"Mmm, I can't say but he owns two or more in each city " said David.
Mira fell silent surprised by the sudden revelation of how rich Karlye was.
"He told me to show her a couple of buildings so she can choose one for her business . He claimed Andriana was too naive and might get scammed by brokers.
David nodded.
She sat down opposite him .
"Now tell me exactly what your hiding from me " she said.
David gulping avoiding her gaze , "there is nothing I am hiding ".
"Really ?" she urged . Andriana had told her about what Karlye had told her, but she knew there was something more that neither Andriana or her had been told.
"I told you I won't hide anything from you anymore so please believe me " he lied.
She sighed .
"Alright then answer me this honestly " she said.
He nodded.
"Is his family involved with the mafia ?" she asked.
"Why do you ask ?" David tried to avoid the question.
"They have alot of influence in the country . I know they are rich but it seems it's more than that " she pointed out.
David leaned back ,"is this because of what he did back at that underground parking ?".
"That is part of it " she answered.
"His family is rich and that comes with strong connections and backing . So no matter what trouble or crime his involved in, those connections come in handy ,that's all ".
David knew he was creating more trouble for himself by lying to her but she would be better off not knowing . And Mira would go off if she found out and that meant involving Andriana then Karlye would be affected too.
And David had just cleaned up his mess , he didn't want more trouble .
"I am glad , well I guess I can let her relationship be " she said.
David sighed happy she believed it.
With what Karlye was planning tonight he didn't want anything to interfere.

Andriana took a deep breath as she got out of the car. Karlye took her hand and led her inside the hotel.
It had been awhile since they went out for dinner together .
He had invited her out for after she had completed the preparation of her new business. She was planning on opening it next month .
Her eyes kept stealing glances around them. It was a beautiful hotel . She had never dreamed of ever stepping into such an expensive hotel.
"I guess you love it " he whispered as they arrived at there table in the restaurant . Andriana noticed it was barely full . Only a few tables where occupied.
She nodded. He helped her take her seat and then took his.
After giving there order he turned to her.
"You needed a break from all that work ,I was getting worried about you " his hand held hers on the table.
She smiled.
"I know my limits and I needed some exercise after staying home for all that time ".
"You can still do all that while staying home . Did you forget what the doctor said , your still unstable and need to be careful " he said.
"I didn't forget I just don't want to worry and believe me I do take care of myself . I want this child to be born healthy ' she let out.
The waiter brought there drinks , a glass of wine for Karlye and water for Andriana ,since she was pregnant and couldn't drink.
"There is something I have to tell you... actually it's more of a question " he said.
"Oh I also have something to tell you " she said.
Karlye gestured the waiter who nodded and while he did Andriana spoke.
"Can I go first ?" She said.
He nodded, noticing the waiter walking back to them holding her huge bouquet of flowers .
"I am moving back to my apartment " she said.
"What ?!" He excalimed.
At the same time the waiter had arrived and passed the flowers to her. A band dressed in red and black was behind him and it started playing then two waiters appeared behind the band holding a big banner with words that's said.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"she read realising what was going on.
