Chapter 1 - The Fire

Story Description

In a world where heroes vanish and secrets shape destinies, a young boy named Eric lives in the shadow of his father's legendary past. Once friendly and carefree, Eric has learned to hide his emotions, observing the world with sharp eyes and a careful mind—yet one girl can always draw a smile from him: Luna, cheerful, playful, and kind.

Beneath the ordinary life of children and friendships lies a hidden truth. Eric's power is unknown, even to him, and Luna carries a secret tied to one of the most powerful sects—the Moon Sect. Together, they must navigate a world of six mystical sects, ancient heroes, and mysterious guardians, where alliances are fragile and every secret could tip the balance of power.

But the past is never truly gone. Old heroes, vanished parents, hidden abilities, and secret bonds all wait in the shadows, ready to reveal themselves when the time is right. Every smile, every laugh, every careful word could hide the key to a destiny far greater than they imagined.

This is a story of courage, trust, and the delicate threads that connect the next generation of heroes… where every secret could change everything.

The Leads

Eric :Once warm and friendly, now sharp, cold, and careful. Observes all, trusts few… but Luna is the exception. His hidden power? Something even the strongest sects cannot detect… yet.

Luna :Cheerful, playful, mischievous, yet kind and brave. She hides a connection to the Moon Sect, one of the "heavenly" sects, but only time will reveal its full meaning.

Key Adults & Guardians

Mark (Eric's father) A legendary hero who vanished into shadows after a personal loss. He hides his son from the world, and truths about Eric's mother… remain sealed.

Paul A knight beyond ordinary. Loyal to Mark, shrouded in mystery. His past… is locked away.

Linda (Paul's wife) Mage of uncommon skill. Protector, friend, yet holds secrets her magic does not reveal.

Jackson An ancient hero. Witness to lost events, caretaker of the next generation. Knows more than he should… and chooses carefully what to reveal.

The World & Sects

Sects: Six total; four are "heavenly" and immensely powerful.

Eric's Power: Hidden, even from his closest allies. Only glimpses have appeared… and only for Luna.

Luna's Power: Moon-tied, secret, destined to affect the world—but how and when is unknown.

Past Events: Parents disappeared under strange circumstances. Some heroes never returned. Jackson keeps the record, but questions remain.

Not all heroes are what they seem.

Not all powers are revealed… yet.

Some bonds are deeper than friendship or love.

The world watches… but only those who look closely see the truth.

Chapter 1: The Fire

Once upon a time, there was a man named Mark who lived with his son, Eric. Mark was an extraordinary man, and Eric was extraordinary too, but they lived a simple life in the countryside.

Mark had a close friend named Paul, who lived nearby with his wife, Linda, and their daughter, Luna. Mark and Paul were best friends, and so were their children. Since Mark's wife had died after Eric was born, Linda always helped take care of Eric and Luna. Luna was Eric's best friend, and they were always together.

One day, Eric and Luna were playing outside. After a couple of hours, they decided to go back home. But from far away, they saw smoke rising from their houses.

"Eric… look!" Luna cried, pointing.

Eric's heart jumped. "Smoke… that's our home…"

When they ran closer, everything was gone. Their houses were burned to ashes. They asked the villagers what happened.

"Guards… they took them," someone said quietly. "They burned the houses…"

Eric felt a burning anger inside him. Tears filled Luna's eyes. They were only eight years old, and there was nothing they could do. They sat next to each other, staring at the ruins, thinking about their parents.

As night came, it got cold and dark. Luna said softly, "Eric… I'm so hungry… I feel dizzy…"

Eric felt weak too, but he tried to be strong. "Don't give up, Luna. We will fight one day. We'll get revenge for our parents."

But then Luna fainted. Eric shook her, but she didn't respond. "Luna! Wake up! Please wake up!" he shouted, panic filling him.

He picked her up and ran toward the nearest village. His legs were tired, his body dizzy, but he didn't stop. He fell to the ground once, tears in his eyes, but then he saw someone coming toward them… and he fainted too.

The next morning, Eric woke up. He saw Luna lying on a bed in the corner. Relief flooded him. He ran to her and grabbed her hand. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

A voice called, "Eric… it's okay. Come in. It's Uncle Jackson."

Eric felt safe. He opened the door. Jackson was an old friend of their parents. He was a swordsman and a healer. Jackson helped them heal.

Eric cried and told him everything. Jackson held them and said softly, "It's alright. You're safe now. We'll get through this… and one day, we'll face what happened."

Eric knew then that they would survive. And one day… they would take revenge.
