Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: So What? He's Just a Child!

Inside the Iron Country Conference Room.

Reto (First Kazekage) had already been carried away. Only Shamon (Second Kazekage) remained, trying desperately to scrape the pixelated mess off the ceiling.

The other three Kages were unusually silent.

They all had the same questions in their minds:

1. Why is this kid so strong?

2. Why did I come here?

3. Is it too late to leave now?

If Mizuna heard these questions, he would simply answer:

"Doesn't matter! Don't know! Too late!"

Mizuna returned to Tobirama's side, wiped the minced meat off his hand, and tossed the tissue aside.

Tobirama snapped back to reality, realizing this was a golden opportunity. He spoke up:

"Gentlemen... I assume there are no further objections?"

Tobirama looked at the three Kages with threatening eyes.

On the surface, the three Kages looked calm. In reality, their legs under the table were clamped tight, terrified that they would be next.

Now, someone might ask:

"They are Kages with immense power. Why would they be afraid of a child?"

[Bro, listen! They aren't afraid of the child. They are afraid of HAVING NO CHILDREN...]

Back to the summit.

Tobirama stared for a while. Seeing no movement, he spoke again:

"We are selling Tailed Beasts in good faith here. It all depends on whether you want them or not."

Hearing Tobirama trying to sell the Tailed Beasts, Hashirama wanted to intervene and suggest giving them away for free again. But Tobirama sensed his brother was about to speak and glared him back into silence.

The First Raikage couldn't take it anymore. He felt too stifled and needed to regain some face.

"This is forced buying and selling! We came here because we heard they were free! Didn't Konoha want to build good relations? Is this how you build relations?"

The Tsuchikage chimed in again:

"Th... That's right! Isn't this fraud? You said free at first! Free! Once we get here, you want money! Isn't this bullying honest people?!"

The Tsuchikage got more excited as he spoke, even waving his hands around.

The Mizukage was sweating bullets. He didn't dare to speak. His village was damp and rainy enough; if he got into a fight here, he wouldn't gain anything...

So he chose to remain silent.

Seeing the Mizukage stay silent, the Tsuchikage started to goad him:

"Mizukage! Konoha is bullying us right to our faces! Are you going to let them sht on your head? We have to resist! We can't bow to this kind of power!"

The Tsuchikage kept rambling, making the Mizukage sweat even more. He begged internally:

Bro! I beg you, stop talking! The last guy who acted tough is currently stuck to the ceiling!

Thinking this, he glanced at Shamon, who was standing on a chair trying to scoop the remains off the ceiling.

At this moment, Shamon had zero Kage-level dignity.

Originally, he thought about using puppets or Sand Style secret techniques. But then he thought: If this thing can be reattached... shouldn't I avoid extra damage and impurities?

So he chose to scoop it by hand. He was currently struggling with it.

Suddenly, a leg of the chair snapped. Shamon fell off and crashed onto the floor.

Silence filled the room... Everyone looked at him.

Seeing everyone staring, Shamon blushed. He reached up and scratched his face, which accidentally smeared some blood on his cheek.

"Um... uh... can someone... pass me a chair?"

Shamon said this with a "shy" tone.

Imagine a bald, muscular man with a dragon tattoo on his face talking to you in a shy, cutesy tone. Just thinking about it makes you...

Everyone was speechless.

Thoughts of the Three Kages:

Tsuchikage: Why are you blushing, you tea-pot?!

Mizukage: Is that really the appropriate expression right now?

Raikage: Kinda has a 'Gap Moe' vibe? No?

Hashirama lifted his head, his "helpful" attribute triggered again. He smiled and handed Shamon a sturdy chair.

Shamon took it with a smile.

"Thank you, Lord Hokage!"

Watching this harmonious scene, the three Kages fell silent again.

Tsuchikage: Why the hell are you thanking him?! Isn't he the reason your Kage ended up like that?

Mizukage: For a moment, I forgot if this was a dinner party or a summit...

 Raikage: Kawaii ne...

What were the bodyguards doing?

Their faces were red from holding back laughter.

"We are professionally trained... we won't laugh unless we can't help it..." (Note: The Mermaid meme).

Shamon took the chair, stood on it again, and continued to scoop the pixelated mess by hand.

Just as he was about to get it off, Shamon applied too much force. The lump of mosaic flew off the ceiling and landed perfectly... inside the chattering Tsuchikage's mouth.

The Tsuchikage froze.

"Ahhhh! Wu! Wu... wu! Wuwuwu!"

The Tsuchikage's face turned beet red. He waved his hands frantically, looking like he was about to vomit.

Seeing this, Shamon panicked. He ran over, shouting:

"Tsuchikage-dono! Don't bite down! And don't swallow! I beg you! I'm coming to catch it!"

Tears streamed down the Tsuchikage's face. They were tears of unwillingness and regret.

Regret for coming here... Regret for fate's cruelty...

Shamon reached the Tsuchikage and cupped his hands.

"Tsuchikage-dono! You can spit it out now!"

Unexpectedly, what came out was not just "Little Reto," but also the Tsuchikage's breakfast...

Shamon stared blankly at the unidentified green lump in his hands.

"NO!!! WHY!!!"

He cried and ran toward the door. Before leaving, he glared at the Tsuchikage...

His eyes held a stubbornness usually only seen in anime heroines...

Of course... the only one who noticed this... was the Raikage...

"Such stubborn eyes... truly perfect! Shamon, is it... I think I'll remember you..." The Raikage thought, blushing slightly.

Of course, no one noticed the Raikage... and no one could see the blush on his extremely dark skin...

The Tsuchikage finished vomiting in the corner and returned.

Tears still wet on his face, he glared at Tobirama and Hashirama.

"Look at what Konoha has done!"

Tobirama & Hashirama: ???

The brothers were confused.

"What does this have to do with us? Didn't his hand slip and throw it into your mouth?" Tobirama retorted.

"Yeah! Tsuchikage-dono! This doesn't seem to be Konoha's fault, right?" Hashirama added.

The Tsuchikage paused. "Seems like it..."

But then he shook his head and yelled:

"I don't care! Besides! If it wasn't for that brat, would any of this have happened? In the end, didn't you guys call this meeting?!" The Tsuchikage roared.

Tobirama laughed.

"Did I force you to come? Weren't you just greedy for free stuff?"

Hearing this, the Tsuchikage stopped arguing logic and started acting shameless ("Kai Bai" / Let it rot).

"So what?! So what?! I'm asking you, so what?!"

Hearing this phrase, veins popped on Mizuna's forehead. He remembered the trolls on the internet in his past life who would scream this when they lost an argument. Rage filled his heart.

He sprinted to the Tsuchikage and slapped him three times.

Slap! Slap! Slap!

"You ask 'So what'?! You ask 'So what'?! YOU! ASK! SO! WHAT!"

The Tsuchikage held his face, looking at Mizuna in disbelief.

"You dare hit me? Stinking brat! You dare hit me?!"

Mizuna laughed.

"I hit you. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

The Tsuchikage was furious. He formed hand seals.

"Earth Style: Rock Fist Jutsu!"

Rocks condensed on his left arm, forming a gauntlet. He prepared to smash Mizuna.

In this critical moment.

Madara rushed in from outside. Hashirama also stood up. The two unleashed their Chakra pressure simultaneously.

Instantly, the air in the room became heavy, making it hard to breathe.

The Tsuchikage's movement stopped. Tobirama quickly used Flying Raijin to bring Mizuna back.

Seeing Konoha intervene, the Tsuchikage shouted:

"Is Konoha this unreasonable?! This brat insulted this old man first!"

The tension in the room skyrocketed. The other Kages went on high alert.

Tobirama, holding Mizuna, looked at the Tsuchikage and shouted with the tone of an entitled parent:

"He's just a child!" (Note: " ultimate Karen excuse).

Everyone: "......"
