Doors That Should Not Open

“Where doors may be opened, there are doors that should not open.” Blodeuwedd Morningstar has no recollection of his past when he regains consciousness in the highest room of the Tower of Slumber, where the 101st door stands. With no awareness of the impending doom, only a single warning lingers within his fractured memory: “Blodeuwedd, never open doors.” In Obelisk of Life where survival and existence are judged, Parents emerge to guide Children and restore balance through the Towers. The system is threatened when Blodeuwedd refuses to choose a Parent during the Knocking Tradition, becoming an Orphan.
