She dropped the broken vase in her hand and stared at the man bleeding. She tried to scream but she held her mouth. She looked sideways in which one of the sides had a slightly opened bathroom then she ran out leaving the helpless man on the floor.
ONE WEEK AGO.
Ivy, the owner of our school, Mr Sheldon has donated to the orphanage again. This time around, he donated 10 million dollars, Scarlett said reading from her phone seated in a moving car.
He is such a nice man, he once said he loved children but his wife could only give birth to one due to issues, Ivy said facing Scarlett's direction with a warm smile.
I hope he comes over this weekend to meet my parents again so that I can see his handsome forty year old face, Scarlett said with a dirty look on her face as she made Ivy giggle.
The car came to a halt and they both got off. The car was a sleek black Rolls Royce. As they got off, they quickly spotted Mr Sheldon who just arrived and they ran towards him cheerfully.
Good morning, Mr Sheldon. They both said in unison.
Good morning, the Joseph family. Oh, I forgot, who's the oldest again? He asked with a wide smile.
I am the oldest one, Ivy said.
I knew it, he said.
Why did you come to school today?, Ivy asked.
Why else? I came to check how my school is doing, Mr Sheldon replied and they kept on walking.
Your school is doing pretty well. School is fun, Scarlett said and they walked into the school hallways.
Mr Sheldon looked at Scarlett with a grin on his face. Well, thank you for that, Mr Sheldon said.
You're welcome, she replied sharply.
We'll be going now, Mr Sheldon. Ivy said and they waved him goodbye and walked off while Mr Sheldon went his way.
The classroom was bubbly and Scarlett walked in. She greeted her friends and went over to her seat and started playing a video game.
Is that Call of duty?, Ted asked shyly.
Yh, you wanna play?, Scarlett asked and stretched it towards Ted when Bruce walked in with his boys.
He walked towards Scarlett and chased the guy seated in front of Scarlett away and sat down on the guy's seat in a way that would face Scarlett directly.
Still hanging out with this weirdo?, he asked and Scarlett rolled her eyes while Ted who was sitting beside her bowed his head.
Anyway, why are you refusing to talk to your sister for me?, Bruce asked.
She doesn't want you, why force yourself on her?, Scarlett said confidently. You are a bully and everyone knows that.
I am a bully but I am rich and I got a face that you don't see every day, Bruce said.
Yh, that's true. I don't see a pick me boy's face every day, Scarlett said looking at him in the eye and everyone giggled.
Bruce looked at them and they were silent.
Bruce slammed the table hard and threw Scarlett's table to the side. He looked at Scarlett with a dreadful eyes.
You don't want me to be with her because you like me, right?, he asked and Scarlett scoffed. You are not close to Ivy's beauty so don't think you can stop me from dating her, he said with a dark smirk.
Scarlett made a sniffy smile. I like how you dream. You can never date her because I will not let my older sister date a dirty scumbag and an asshole like you, she said and Bruce held her neck aggressively when Leo walked in. Everyone was silent and Bruce looked back and removed his hand from Scarlett's neck, arranged the table and signalled to his boys to go and sit. He also went to his seat and sat down with anger still in his eyes.
Leo walked to his seat which was at the back and also on the same row as Bruce. He sat down and started playing video games too. Scarlett sat down while massaging her neck.
I never get that guy, he never fought but everyone respects him like crazy. She said to Ted and Ted shouldered.
But how did Mr Sheldon give birth to someone as evil as Bruce?, Ted asked while looking at Scarlett.
Maybe because he is a bastard, Scarlett said and they both chuckled.
Their first teacher for the day entered.
Good morning, everyone. Their math teacher said.

Today, we will continue from last class.He said and faced the board while students brought out their writing materials.
