Prologue
800 years ago- The Twilight Wars.
Archdemon Daeva, The Dark Star was conjured into the world. Daeva was a creature of pure evil. Her Demonic Legion was born in those dark days, led by monstrous Demon Lords.
Daeva burned through the 4 Human Kingdoms. Humanity thus united as The Grand Alliance to defend Turbulus. Led by the General Laru they struggled to hold back Daeva's Demonic Legion.
The armies fought to a standstill on The Great Plains. The Grand Alliance's powerful Magi- 'the Order of Exorcists' revealed themselves to the Demonic Legion. Their hidden containment seals banished the unsuspecting demons.
Archdemon Azazel and his master Daeva were the only demons left. The morale of the Demonic Legion was breaking as their masters fell. Daeva wielded her most powerful weapon- Souldrinker, casting a mighty spell. The souls of her enemies were ripped from their bodies to feed her foul weapon. Then the exorcists tried to ensnare Daeva.
Unable to contain her, they instead sealed her away in- The void coffer
The last surviving Demon, Azazel withdrew his scattered forces and to The Temple of the Damned. The Grand Alliance would hunt down and slay the Archdemon. But evil is never truly vanquished.
Meanwhile, Laru's attempts to destroy Souldrinker failed so he ordered it be sealed away in secret.
The Four Human kingdoms, squabbling constantly over leadership abandoned their once-proud partnership, divided by their hubris.
For 800 years evil lay dormant, plotting and scheming...
