Synopsis
This fic is basically: Ryou(MC) marries Keqing, after that, he awakens a weird buff system, the "Darkened Mode": different body parts enter this “darkened mode" for a limited time and multiply their efficiency. Brain buff = he gets way smarter for a while, eyes buff = insane vision, etc. Also, the organs have "personalities". They can “talk,” so there are a lot of inner monologue between Ryou and his own body parts. The not-so-fun part (for Keqing) is that some buffs make Ryou go wild at night, and Keqing can’t keep up. She gets exhausted to the point she starts skipping work. That’s when she starts seriously thinking: maybe she should invite someone else into the relationship to share the "suffering"… and she sets her sights on Ganyu. The fanfic can be cringe at times, so I highly recommend turning your brain off and just enjoy the ride. Also, quick personal note: I’ve wanted to translate a fic where Keqing is actually important and gets a lot of screen time, so that’s a big reason I picked this one. Happy reading!!

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Marrying Keqing Had All of Liyue Going Crazy with Envy!

Translation Disclaimer: This is a translation, and while I'll do my best to keep everything accurate, errors can happen—especially with names, locations, and smaller terms. Also, a few characters/terms don't appear on the CN/EN wikis, so I'm leaving them as-is for now. If you notice something off, tell me in the comments and I'll check it and correct it.

"Being born into a rich family really is nice. I can't believe I actually got to marry Keqing." Ryou looked at the breathtaking woman in his arms, his pulse kicking up.

If he hadn't lived through that moment himself, he wouldn't have dared believe any of this was real.

Because Ryou wasn't from Teyvat.

He was a transmigrator.

Unfortunately, he hadn't gotten any kind of system. He could only rely on his own effort to survive in Liyue. Luckily, Lumine had only just arrived in Liyue at this point, so a whole chain of events still hadn't happened yet.

While Ryou was thinking about what to do next, his so-called father suddenly arranged a marriage alliance for him with Keqing.

And just like that, he landed Keqing.

Just thinking about it made Ryou's blood run hot.

Because this was Keqing.

And with the scenes from earlier replaying in his head again and again, Ryou grew even more worked up.

[Ding! Kidneys entering Darkened mode!]

[Ding! Darkened mode ongoing. Endurance increased by 200%!]

The sound made Ryou's eyes light up.

Because that was clearly a system.

He'd been worried about not having one—only for it to show up this fast.

In his head, Ryou kept firing questions at it.

Nothing answered.

Still, he could clearly tell his body felt better than before. As he looked down at Keqing, his gaze grew hotter.

"Mm… what are you—" Keqing sensed something.

Ryou didn't give her a chance to finish.

The next morning.

Ryou opened his eyes and saw that Keqing was already dressed. She sat at the vanity, putting on makeup—just a light touch, nothing heavy.

Ryou rubbed his eyes. Thinking back on everything from last night, it all still felt like a dream.

Keqing noticed his stare, but didn't make a big deal of it. She just said, "Ryou-san, you promised me. If you married me, you'd go take a post at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. You haven't forgotten, right?"

"I remember."

Hearing her say it, Ryou snapped fully awake.

The truth was, Keqing marrying him had a lot to do with his father's influence. And on top of that, Ryou was considered one of the standouts among the younger generation.

Otherwise, there was no way Keqing would have agreed to something like this.

Taking a position at the Ministry of Civil Affairs was one of the conditions.

Right—Ryou's father was currently one of the Liyue Qixing, though he never showed his face to the public.

Thinking about going to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Ryou couldn't help feeling a bit resigned. Keqing did work there, yes—but she was responsible for construction and engineering, which meant she spent most of her time out in the field.

Even if he reported to the Ministry, it didn't mean he'd get to see her often.

Still, since Keqing was willing to marry him, Ryou wasn't about to let her down.

With that thought, he steadied himself, got dressed, and headed for the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

When Ryou arrived, he could hear a few young men whispering around a corner behind him.

"What kind of insane luck did that guy have? He actually married Keqing-san!"

"Seriously!"

"That guy doesn't deserve Keqing-san at all! Ahhh—my goddess is already someone else's wife!"

"I heard he's got some background. Otherwise, how could he marry Keqing-san? But once he's in the Ministry of Civil Affairs, he's definitely not going to have a good time. A lot of people in there like Keqing-san. You think they'll let him off easy?"

Ryou didn't really care.

He thought, I'm a modern guy—am I really going to lose to petty nonsense like this?

With that settled, Ryou walked into the Ministry of Civil Affairs with Keqing.

The moment he stepped inside, he could clearly feel every pair of eyes turning toward him—full of envy and anger.

Because he'd married Keqing.

Ryou slid an arm around Keqing's waist and grinned. "Hey, everyone. Keqing and I had our wedding yesterday. I'm guessing you couldn't make it, so… I brought wedding candies for all of you. Don't be shy."

"Th-thank you…" The Ministry staff said it through clenched teeth.

They could tell Ryou was here to show off.

And he was doing it with an arm around their goddess.

This man was unbearable.

He was basically asking to get himself killed.

With Ryou holding her like that, Keqing could feel her face heating up fast. She shot him a look, but didn't struggle.

He was her husband, after all.

She'd at least give him a bit of face in public.
