"It's been almost a month since we first set sail and all Sefton has done is train the guys with soul colours." Jacklyn said.
"To be fair their is quite the difference at least they are guaranteed to get results when fighting besides I think we all know that the forcing plastic out of us wasn't unhelpful." Lina said doing some push-ups after watching the training they had all noticed most of it was working out so everyone started working out in hopes it'd help them awaken.
"M-maybe but let's be honest t-theirs a pretty good chance we don't even g-get good soul colours." Tillie said also doing push-ups.
"True but still their has to be something we can do to force it out." Jacklyn said.
"Well as far as I can tell the pressure from life or death seems to work the most consistently." Miss Agatino said.
"Considering how long it's been maybe the agents of that Deadly Desire schmuck will act soon it has been a month on the boat so we are in the middle of the sea of boiling stone." Lina said finishing the push-ups.
"Maybe your right if that were to happen we may just have a chance at awakening our soul colours in all the chaos that'd definitely help." Jacklyn said.
"I-I don't think I can I-I'm useless." Tillie said finishing her push-ups with a huff.
"Hey don't say that knowing you theirs a good chance you'll get the best soul colour of all of us." Lina said patting her on the back.

"Sefton if you've known those three are planting seeds of evil in the crew why didn't you stop them?" Carbry asked.
"Pressure is needed to awaken a soul colour most often life or death so the best option is to let them amass a good number then let them attack it'll create the real pressure needed." Sefton said clearly well experienced in the best ways to awaken soul colours.
"Actually I'd say they are rather close now remember all three have taken a small red stone to turn in vampires and turn most of the crew into ghouls so they can out number us. If I took a guess I'd say two of them have three colours Desire isn't taking chances I'll take on that one you three take on the other one it only has one soul colour not much stronger than the werewolf." Sefton said using this to see if they have improved enough to keep up with the steady incline of power their foes poses.
It's been awhile since I got to fight a vampire this might be fun how I would like to wipe of some rust.
"Static line." Sefton said pulling his katana as he jumped it on the direction of the two vampires drawing a line almost exactly before their feet only for a suddenly strike of lightning to hit both catching them of guard.
"Sefton!" One vampire screamed showing his red blue and purple soul colours quickly healing the damage.
"Dare to fight both of us you may be more experienced and stronger but we both have 120 Dellanima you have 150 you can't beat both of us!" The other vampire screamed showing his own red yellow and orange soul colours.
"The arrogance brought by some jewels and the blessing from Desires hex should be studied. Water wheels." Sefton said suddenly striking out with his sword curving it to form a circular swings cutting at their necks with water wheels forming where his sword goes.
Both vampires dodged the attack using space and flames respectively to destroy the wheels of water.
"Strike one." Sefton said as out of nowhere lightning bolts struck the two vampires again they then jumped back from the mark Sefton had made on the ship floor.
"Strike two." Sefton said several bullets of water firing at all directions for the two vampires one using his flames to evaporate the water the other using space to reorient them.
"Fool!" The vampires yelled in unison jumping forward Sefton took a single step back.
"Combo move boiling blood!" The vampires yelled one using fire to the maximum the other taking blood from several ghouls he had made throwing the large amount of boiling blood at Sefton.
"You stepped over the line that's Strike three." Sefton sheathed his kitana and suddenly three strikes of condensed water, lightning and air cut the large ball of boiling blood the fact they all went the same direction forcing it to land and kill several ghouls and zombies instead.
"Ultimate Combo move space of no soul or mind!" The vampires screamed pouring an immense amount of power into the area Sefton was standing in.
"Not bad at all pretty good to be honest I'll return in kind. Strike four." Sefton said drawing his katana and just barley cutting the layer of Dellanima trying to envelope him with a thick dense green energy around his blade completely undoing the move before it took effect.
"Finally it's time to use our trump card." One vampire said.
"Combo move Bloody zone." The vampires said blood of the many fallen zombies and ghouls surrounding and entering them making their size and strength increase and their power recover back to full.
"Ultimate Combo move unholy blood taints all!" The Vampires yelled forcing a large amount of their Dellanima and blood into one dense point firing it at Sefton.
"Okay then Strike...Five." Sefton said gripping his kitana with his full strength a blue green and yellow light densely and closely following it's trail a single simple stabbing motion.
The combination of all the vampires colours and a large portion of Dellanima let them create the unholy blood taints all a move which if it touches you or something your touching corrupts you and your very soul in an instant. The very second this attack is launched the one defending against it only has point 1 second to react before the drop will move at 5 times the speed of sound to touch it's target. So against someone of the same three or four soul colours level of power it's a death sentence to face a move so powerful even if you used purely time to undo it all that would do is weaken the spell not stop it. So in response Sefton casted his strongest spell Strike Five it used condensed point 1 second of reversed time along with equally dense air water and lightning. Making it possible for the two moves to clash with Sefton's move having the upper hand of already being accelerated to max while the other move was still just under the speed of sound. Naturally against a move traveling four times the speed of sound it was completely destroyed and the after math almost killed the vampires.
"Impossible such a powerful spell no wonder Lady Desire still holds you in high regard." One vampire said as they healed while they didn't need to use spells to heal the spell that failed had too great a cost to use again this was clearly a battle of attrition now.

Suddenly out of nowhere the sky turned dark as night and most of the crew where ghouls or zombies their were even three vampires.
"What's going on what's happening?" Lina asked.
"Deadly Desires agents are active Sefton's busy with the two that have three soul colours and we'll be busy with the other one so your on your own." Pace said running of to face a vampire.
"Don't worry girls we'll take care of the big ones." Brycen said.
"We'll do our best to clear a path to safety." Austin said.
Suddenly we were fighting and killing ghouls and the only four people who could give us real safety were busy and now all we have are these two idiots. How can we possibly survive this I should- No I won't run away this time I'm not going to hide like I did with the lizard men. With all the courage in my soul I ran forward and started punching and kicking zombies using my small amount of martial arts training my dad made me do. Never in all my days have I loved my dad so much for making me take those lessons. Out of nowhere Jacklyn joined me and we were fighting along side Austin and Brycen with all we had.
"We don't need the help go." Brycen said while getting overwhelmed.
"Yes you do we'll be fine we've been putting in effort too." Jacklyn said punching the head off a zombie.
Perspective Tillie Luella
Everyone's doing so well everyone's doing something even Miss Agatino is fighting the zombies but I'm just standing here like I always do. I'm just standing here useless like always holding them all back because I'm... I'm worthless. I should just let the zombies eat me I can't fight and even with all that hard work I still don't know what I'm doing. I'm not a front liner like everyone else I can't help. I need to do something anything but I can't move I'm so scared how can they all just do this like it's nothing I can't I'm useless what's the point of me.
No... no... no... No! I am not useless! I can do something! I just... even if they aren't people anymore I just can't hurt them. How can I help when I can't hurt the people who are threatening my friends. Friends? Since when did I start considering them all my friends they completely ignored me in class and even after everything continued to do so for awhile. How are these people my friends. No they are my friends and they are my friends because they changed because I changed. I refuse to be the useless little sister my big sis always said I was I'm not useless anymore!
"Heal!" Tillie yelled out with all the hope in her soul and suddenly a green energy started to envelope her and it started to move to everyone else going into their bodies healing their wounds.
"Hell yes Tillie your my new favourite!" Brycen said suddenly while still tiring this all seemed much easier.
"Fantastic save Tillie keep going we'll make sure none get to you." Austin said his confidence sounding more sincere than before.

Tillie... Tillie Luella was the next to unlock soul colour don't get me wrong great timing very impressive and helpful but I'm risking my life I'm terrified. I just keep fighting and yet Tillie awakened before me that's it no more hiding or running like with the werewolf this time I'm the one forcing my way through. I refuse to be the one holding everyone back I am better than this I am better.
Punch after punch after punch but nothing no sign of awakening or even a change. I don't get it why can't I do it I'm better than them all everyone that's awakened before me I could accept they were bold on the front lines but Tillie. Tillie is just some coward in what world does she have the strength to awaken soul colour and green to better than the ones Pace, Max and Carbry awakened. I am better I deserve better I am I am I am I am better I know it to be true.
If it were Lina I'd be okay with that Brycen, Austin even Miss Agatino I can accept but Tillie seriously! I am better than her I am I don't understand I'm risking my neck my whole everything feels like I could just break down crying. So why of all people did it have to be Tillie I'm better than her I'm better than all of them!

Tillie she actually did it and I didn't I can't believe how pathetic I am I couldn't do anything with the lizard men or the werewolf I keep letting people down and the first time it got so many people killed. I'm not worthy to be a survivor I should have died along side them all I don't deserve this I deserve to die badly after all I've done not bravely like some hero. I am no hero I'm a monster who got so many people killed its all my fault. I can't do anything I never could maybe I should just give up. No... no I can't give up I have to keep going I have to do something anything please listen to me and my scream.
"Aahh!" Lina cried out with all the guilt and grief in her heart and a purple energy emerged showering the enemy in that same guilt grief and sadness briefly stopping their movements.
"Hell yeah Lina two in one day this is amazing with this we can do it!" Austin yelled his confidence soaring to a new high.
"Fantastic keep going Lina make sure to focus on any getting near Tillie we need a healer!" Brycen said.

Oh so I was wrong I'm not better after all two got their before me how could this happen. I am better than them I know it yet they both got it before me how could they just I don't understand.
All while this was happening due to their undead nature the zombies and ghouls after being forced to feel emotions quickly managed to over come it through their nature and moved forward no longer affected now on alert for the ability.
I have too their are too many I need to please I don't care about being better I just... I just don't want to fail someone I care about again.
Suddenly an orange light appeared "Fall!" Jacklyn yelled the orange light consumed all the undead and as commanded they fell three people had awakened soul colours in one day. But Jacklyn couldn't help anymore the over use had made her fall unconscious.
