Suddenly out of nowhere a group of five appeared took their helmets off revealing two being a humanoid hawk and one a humanoid tortoise. It was then that the other three individuals revealed their monster forms the women with the tiger was a tiger the man with the bear became a bear and the one women with the wolf became a wolf. It was then they drew their weapons the werewolf a great sword the tiger halberd the bear a hammer the hawk a spear and tortoise a shield. Out of nowhere we where then further shocked by a massive cyclops appearing out of nowhere next thing we knew we were in our re-planned small groups fighting them while Sefton took on the cyclops. The only way to win is to disarm the enemy and beat the crap out of this women. The werewolf was my foe and the only help I had was my pre-planned ally for just such situations Jacklyn. The hard part was we both had point two Dellanima this women had point three five.
"Blazing fist." Max said punching a burning fist only for it to disappoint as the werewolf used a water ball to deflect and put the blazing fist out slicing at him using both arms for the kill shot.
"Area shield." Jacklyn said forming a small bubble just above where the werewolf would hit the blow deflected I forgot our training and went with my gut no I'll just fight away and do my best.
"Blazing fists." Max said both hands burning and punching at the werewolf head only to be put out and dodged another sword swing coming his way this time he dodged.
"Tiredness." Jacklyn said suddenly it was like the werewolf was sluggish and tired not moving properly this one would last especially short and likely not again but a perfect opening.
"Blazing fist." Max said actually axe kicking the werewolf landing a solid blow and dodging the counter swing.
"Drown." The werewolf said licking the blood off her bloodied nose making water appear on their heads.
"Aahh!" Max yelled his head setting a flame as he head butted the werewolf slightly singeing her head.
"Lightning strikes." The werewolf said the water on Jacklyn's head now on the floor since her focus broke as she made several small compact acts of lightning toward her target.
At this point it was clear this werewolf was a perfect my counter as you could get without blessings. Actually I think she does have a blessing but likely one that just made her harder to burn I had no choice but to try using blue fire to win. Naturally using blue fire was my last resort when it was clear I had no options left to win it wasn't that bad not yet at least.
"Space point." Jacklyn said all the lightning being contained in bottle like space and firing them back at the werewolf.
"Blazing bullet hell." Max said joining the barrage with his own several small but effective bullets of fire to test my theory.
"Lightning break." The werewolf said swinging at me as I ducked under the swing her lightning seemed to break the bubbles of space and disappear my fire did nothing I was right she had a fire resistance blessing.
It was clear now the foes we were facing were ones specifically to be our counter. The only thing that made it possible to win was that we had two versus one for most though Pace had the bear and hawk while Miss Agatino and her team only had Tiger but Tiger was the teams leader. It was clear everyone here had been given blessings to counter and kill us they even killed Justin just to fill the plan perfectly.
"Super Combo move burning zone." We said in unison a bubble containing her and the whole inside a powerful flame burned until she used her great sword to break through the thick bubble. She was singed but had used water so she didn't have any burns.
"Storm." The werewolf said suddenly a massive amount of strong water began pouring put it had a strong electric charge.
"Shield zone." Jacklyn said using a large amount of power so it was all deflected somewhere harmless to use and the others. Suddenly the great sword breaks through and so does the werewolf stabbing me. I was lucky it missed my heart but had punctured a lung so I grabbed the blade with all my might.
"Super move Blue barrage!" Max yelled out I was aware Sefton told us not to use our solo super moves yet but I had no choice. Suddenly I punched and punched the werewolf at incredible speeds with immense power blue flames consuming my fists.
"Super move blue as the sky!" I yelled punching the werewolf as most of my body was almost consumed in blue flame. My fist struck true killing and burning the werewolf but I had burned out and most of my body was burned. Suddenly I couldn't stand anymore having used more Dellanima than I had too make those last blue flames and the great sword sunk deeper into my chest as the last thing I saw was Tillie running to me. If it weren't for the adamantite armour the blade would have gone through me this had only just punctured my lung even though it had gone a little deeper now.

Out of nowhere the battle began just like that and I was fighting two strong foes with point three Dellanima. Even though I couldn't tell exactly what their blessings were I knew they both had blessings or at the very least techniques and skills to counter my style. Thankfully I had Tillie as my partner so I could fight as long as I didn't waste Dellanima or get a lethal wound. So I quickly jumped out of my adamantite armour aware unlike the others it would only make this harder.
"Burning momentum." The bear said his hammer being swung largely due to the flames propelling it.
"Static spear." The hawk said stabbing with his spear full of lightning at the same time.
"Lightning jog." Pace said jumping out to his right to dodge both jumping up and onto the hammer a failed attempt at pseudo Fey mode.
"Lightning stabbing." The hawk said using his spear with more lightning now.
"Burning fists." The bear said briefly dropping the hammer as I stood on it to punch me with his burning fists.
"Lightning jog." I said jumping up and onto the bears shoulder another failed attempt at pseudo Fey mode.
"Javelin of death." The hawk said throwing his spear filled with more lightning at me.
"Mini me flame." The bear said suddenly shrinking into human form in an instant picking the hammer up swing it to meet me as he quickly turned back.
Just breath no thoughts just empty do don't think in unison with Jay. "Liquid lightning step." Pace said stepping on water to jump up and dodge actually successfully using pseudo Fey mode this time I was able to notice how in this my Dellanima increased to point two five very note worthy.
"Combo move burning lightning." The bear and hawk said in unison as the hawk flew and got his spear using fire and lightning in an upward strike as I fell to them.
Just breathe keep going don't think just do in unison no unneeded thoughts. "Liquid lightning step." Pace said this time stepping to the right dodging the attack again and once again a successful use of pseudo Fey mode.
Suddenly I saw a massive amount of electric water pouring out harmlessly over somewhere. This was the werewolf Max's opponent it was then I saw it Max had been stabbed and he was using his super move. This could only mean he felt it was either that or death he could really die.
"Liquid lightning steps!" Pace yelled as he used the water to get higher and higher to finish this quick and help Max as he saw Tillie already leave to help I was relieved but I hadn't used pseudo Fey mode that time. This was also the first time I hadn't been forced into Fey mode by seeing someone I care about hurt why what was the common thread beyond that. This made the key to figuring out and mastering Fey mode every more unclear and elusive.
The hawk flew up with his spear to meet me as I was now out of range of the bear so he had full intent on going after Jacklyn and Tillie while I was busy. "Super move heavenly punishment!" Pace yelled dodging the spear grabbing the hawks face and at 200 miles an hour rocketing down and sticking the bear with the hawks body crushing his head as the bear almost immediately died but survived with most of his bones broken. Successful use of pseudo Fey mode.
"Super move blue blazing body!" The bear screamed out his body covered in blue flames.
"Lightning javelin." Pace said grabbing the spear of the very dead hawk throwing it through the bears head in an instant killing him. The last failure to use pseudo Fey mode of the battle.
"That was too close and too much Tillie help Miss Agatino after your done healing me too." Pace said conscious but barely having only slightly over used my Dellanima I still remained conscious though no longer useful.
Perspective Line Catherine
The battle began suddenly and out of nowhere and we were fighting this tortoise guy who had point three five Dellanima. Even though I wasn't sure I had a feeling he had a blessing to counter Carbry.
"Weak will." Lina said using my power as the turtle just stood their with his shield out using his yellow soul colour to form air bullets that Carbry dispelled.
"Forest of wind." The tortoise said throwing wild winds at us not really doing damage just pushing us back he was clearly just here to prevent us from helping out more combat incline allies.
It was about five minutes of largely back and forth attempts to use wind and light to harm the other as I use my mind and soul powers to keep the tortoise from doing much since Carbry didn't have any harmful strikes. It was not long after we saw the blue flames and Max fall unconscious and Pace falling down like lightning and killing the bear not long after with a hardly maintained consciousness. It was then we had help to break the stalemate unfortunately they were also not great at combat but at least Jacklyn could do real damage.
"Space knife." Jacklyn said cutting and fighting the tortoise with knives made from thin space cutting and destroying the shield after another five minutes cutting the tortoises throat and killing him.
"Okay now to help Miss Agatino." Jacklyn said turning as we all ran to help her knowing we could do nothing to help Sefton.
Perspective Sefton Caleb
It was a shock I never thought I'd see him again not this cyclops the first person ever sealed with runes. I was shocked and immediately sensed his higher 140 Dellanima and how he now had a blessing. More importantly I could sense how it was powerful likely specifically to counter me he even had a curse likely one so if this battle went on too long he would explode and kill us both.
"Finally I can get revenge on you for what you did to me over 510 years ago Sefton prepare to die." Tacitus said grabbing his club ready to fight to the death his soul colours the same as Sefton and now his Dellanima was even closer and he had a blessing to counter him.
This battle would be long and hard to win in however long I had likely an hour at best was likely impossible for me as I was even in my prime near impossible. The only hope I had was that the other teams would finish up and win as quickly as possible so they could do something. Even if they couldn't deal damage they could at least give Sefton the opening he needed for Strike Ten. For me I couldn't the waste the Dellanima Strike Ten consumed unless I was sure it was lethal or I may be unable to win especially against someone who had a blessing to counter me and such power.
