Perspective Vittoria Agatino
This battle started suddenly and my team the one with two people still without soul colours was the one facing the leader Tiger. The odds of winning without further help from the other teams when they finish up are slim. Even with their help unless they can help me deal some real damage it might not be enough against Tiger with her point three five Dellanima and blue soul colour.
"Metal lift." Vittoria said lifting Tiger by manipulating her metal armour only to see for some reason it didn't listen to her.
"Lightning paw." Tiger said body now in her humanoid Tiger form throwing a punch filled with lightning.
"Earth lift." Vittoria said lifting the earth beneath Tiger in an attempt to send her flying.
"Lightning water steps." Tiger said forming Water bubbles to step on to move around the pillars I was making.
"Earth maze." Vittoria said forming a closed of maze of earth.
"Lightning paws." Tiger said throwing punches filled with lightning destroying wall after wall of dirt.
"Grounded." Vittoria said sinking Tiger completely under ground making her lightning abilities almost useless.
"Water pressure paw." Tiger said highly pressurised Water cutting a cube of earth that she punched as she jumped out now standing on a formed Water bubble.
"Earth bullets." Vittoria said firing bullets made of dirt all blocked like it was nothing to Tiger's armour.
Perspective Brycen Chace
No choices here no options for survival other than to fight her and go for it. I thought to myself punching Tiger she grabbed me by the throat and started to choke me out. Something in me I just didn't care anymore not about living not about dying but about proving I lived for something and it happened.
"Lightning fist." Brycen said punching Tiger with a fist full of lightning despite just awakening due to all the training he had done his Dellanima was already at point one catching Tiger of guard as she dropped me in shock.
"Well that is an unexpected and unpleasant surprise the bosses were right all it takes is one slip up and the problem gets worse better to end you so they don't complain." Tiger said as I put up my guard.
Perspective Austin Kenzie
It caught me off guard when Tiger just lunged at me she was intent on killing me she was likely intent on only sparing those with great value to her bosses. So I guess I shouldn't be surprised when I didn't make the cut for mercy. But I didn't care anymore about the power to brag or be cool or even to live just to prove her wrong to prove them all wrong. I am more than my privilege I am more than my privilege I AM MORE THAN MY PRIVILEGE!
"Burst open." Austin said his yellow soul colour awakening and using it to precisely manipulate the air in Tigers lungs to destroy her lungs.
"Drown." Tiger said using water over all of our heads.
"Two in one day is this my unlucky day or lucky day." Tiger said.
It was only when out of nowhere a massive amount of charged water when if harmlessly to nowhere and I saw a stabbed Max falling unconscious with burns. Even more suddenly Pace crashed down like a rocket and killed the hawk guy then threw the spear like a javelin to kill the bear. It was then that Tillie started healing him instead trying to finish fast to help us as Jacklyn helped Carbrys group.
"Bbbwwwwwaaaaaa!" Brycen yelled using his powers to force the water chocking us off and onto Tigers head catching her of guard.
"Expel." Austin said trying to force as much air in Tigers lungs out to kill her faster. Suddenly roared with an incredible violence and the water disappeared.
"Okay then no more play time." Tiger said pulling put two short swords.
"That was playing around." Miss Agatino said.
The fight devolved from their largely just carefully dodging her swords as we tried to get attacks in only for her to dodge Miss Agatino's efforts dispel Brycen's and ignore mine. This wasn't a fight anymore this was a one sided massacre we were only surviving minute by minute because of a miracle.
"Super move Last Judgment!" Tiger yelled jumping up higher and higher using water then soaring down charged with lightning.
The impact was incredible Carbry and his lot had finally finished their fight only to be almost knocked down by the attack. It was strong but clearly only used now that all her allies were dead excluding the cyclops. We had all been fighting about ten minutes total and Tiger had finally used her last card standing up her armour almost broken her bones cracked and muscles damaged. She picked up the short sword she had dropped at the peak as they fell into her hand it was over she had won.
"Super combo move Static air." Brycen and Austin said in unison having seen all the training they knew more or less most of the combo moves. This one was perfect catching Tiger of guard with a ball of air travelling fast with a charge of lightning straight to her chest hitting her chest dead on since she had no choice but to take that part off to move. This had completely knocked the wind out of the now heavily wounded Tiger as Jacklyn snuck up behind her forming a sharp blade of space cutting her throat. 15 minutes since the start of the battles with Tigers group now they were all dead and Sefton needed some help to finally end the cyclops.
Perspective Sefton Caleb
The first move the cyclops used wasn't even a spell just blindly swinging his club in a rage. All he did for the first five minutes was blindly attack with no Dellanima he was testing the waters seeing what I could do with my current abilities. He just wanted to know my current physically abilities so he would know exactly how best to make me suffer before he killed me.
"Strike 6." Sefton said cutting the club like it was made of air and I was just practicing in that direction.
"Figures you haven't gotten weaker after all." Tacitus said dropping the now worthless remaining part of the club.
"Seems your new students aren't much less impressive than Blaire for half of them to beat blatantly stronger and more skilled foes with blessings to counter them impressive." Tacitus said as we had a stare down we both knew that while he didn't need a weapon to maintain an advantage without one it was much more even.
"Yes and unlike last time I'm not an arrogant elf anymore so I won't believe they could hold you back long enough to make something new to seal you." Sefton returned clearly the battle had reached a new equilibrium till someone made the first spell.
"Lightning time." Tacitus said almost instantly lightning appeared in front of me hitting me dead on a strong almost sure hit technique but very expensive for very little damage.
"Strike 6." Sefton said striking with his sword curving into incredible patterns as it seemed to dance in the air.
"Never seen someone try a move like that before let's see if it works. Lightning time." Tacitus said lightning appeared in an instant a short distance from me only for my blade to cut and absorb it with its runes showing now.
"Oh I see okay very clever guess I'll have to stick with efficient moves then. Lightning drops." Tacitus said a large amount of water spreading out just above him in drops firing down in countless drops charged with lightning.
"Strike 6 version 2." Sefton said all my Strike moves have two versions one for strength and speed the other more for a defensive form of speed in short the only difference in my technique and application.
"Well that's new not half bad." Tacitus said only we were both then briefly distracted by another loud bang.
"Seems Tiger over did it that move will just leave her wide open to weak attacks. Air cannon." Tacitus said firing highly compressed air out of an air cannon.
"Strike 1 version 2." Sefton said slicing down with a solid stance cutting the air bubbles one after another after taking the time to get back into proper form.
"Seems like someone has improved a lot." Tacitus said then looking over at Tiger to see her throat be slit.
"Well that is annoying seems like I'll just have to stop playing." Tacitus said soundly truly disappointed.
"Ultimate move Air is Sea." Tacitus said using a move he hadn't back in our first fight which didn't surprise me at the time back then he didn't treat me or Blaire as serious threats.
Suddenly the air itself in a wide area seemed to all be focusing into becoming water. Those drops of water went on for dozens upon dozens of meters all came to this exact spot suddenly we were all under water. I had seen impressive moves from those with three colours before but this seemed more like a technique only possible through blessing. Seems Doctor Despair out witted me he never gave Tacitus a defensive blessing to counter me but rather one to increase his range enough to use this move properly.
"Mastery Time, Water, Air Strike 1-10." Sefton said after forming an air bubbles to speak.
Suddenly out of nowhere all the water gathered at one point the blade of my sword. The air which just returned further combined into the blade of my sword. Even time itself seemed to stretch and long itself overwhelmingly into my mastery a single cut aimed at Tacitus neck cutting his head off cleanly with no clear resistance.
"What the hell was that!?" Pace screamed out the question which was reasonable a mastery was a powerful and hard move to use and was naturally very impressive looking.
"That was a mastery I'm the only individual with three colours to ever use one I was planning on keeping the good doctor and his lot in the dark about this longer but I couldn't let the fight continue." Sefton said.
"A mastery and your saying your the only person without seven colours or more to achieve it seems about right that was ridiculously powerful. How did you achieve it?" Pace asked though he was clearly still tired the shocking sight had woken him up significantly.
"I don't know most people only achieve their own mastery after completely gaining mastery over their main colours they use in battle." Sefton said I really was the outlier in this situation.
"Really okay cool can we take a break I think we need one after that." Pace said.
"Sure but once everyone is back to full you put your armour back on and we keep going till we reach the capital from their reaching the academy which your education will be in will be easy." Sefton said I was lying down myself tired while I had a mastery unlike those at seven colours I couldn't use it more than once in a fight my Dellanima was rather low and I was quite tired.
20 minutes since the fight broke out.
Perspective Doctor Despair
"Well that was unexpected..." Despair said as Desires mouth remained agape from the shock.
"How?!" Desire asked such a thing was unheard of and the heart of why near the end we had believed Sefton would die a pleasant surprise.
"I honestly have no clue I'm tempted to kidnap him to experiment on him myself after seeing that." Despair said already considering if getting the usually laid back Blaire to be fully active was worth something so incredible.
"If I had to guess it's because he's a true lord need I remind you before him no true lord has ever failed to reach seven colours." Despair said suddenly making the ridiculous feat seem much easier to swallow.
"That's true but still what a waste now that armour will just sit their till we get it back not like we can reforge it without wasting the ash." Desire said clearly referring to how only the torsion had armour not mangled beyond use.
"It doesn't matter they don't know and I doubt the brown soul colour user is smart enough to mention it even if she does he won't guess the truth." Despair said looking at a tube full of liquid with a right arm and leg with the arm missing the shoulder and a finger and the leg the upper thigh.
"True why would they guess something so ridiculous was possible we only realised it by using it our selves Blaire truly you are too valuable." Desire sighed looking at the arm and leg knowing how despite the value it gave them now it had largely been wasted their for years.
"Now then if I'm not mistaken this means unless the blessing is from someone with seven colours then these things offer with a carving a way to provide immunity from the blessing. At last such a breakthrough means wasting blessings may not be such a waste after all." Despair said putting his hand up to the tank.
"Despair even for you that's just weird don't get me wrong I understand the appeal it could provide with some more complex planning but still." Desire said sighing at how strange her partner in crime was.
"Perhaps but this may also be the key to my project finally working all I need to do is get a decently strong demon over to this side so I can change the curse on one to finally make my dreams a reality." Despair said my voice manic with glee at how perhaps now it was possible to achieve my greatest goal.
