Perspective Carbry Ulick
We kept walking and walking sometimes we would feel like we made good progress at the end of the day with all the training and hunting. No matter what happened we never take off this stupid adamantite armour it weights an insane amount if it weren't for good food and healing our muscles would be badly damaged. Overall the healing is very helpful even the most minor physical damage is healed meaning no need to worry much about shadows of injuries. Even better we are finally starting to get the hang of walking and fighting in them we've even set up teams for if we get separated or need to fight strong foes. Pace and Tillie are a team with Pace's strongest moves all dealing heavy damage to his body this was a must if the foe is strong. Max and Jacklyn since they are both well rounded but not very high on any end offensive or defensive so that team made sense. Me and Lina since I have the weakest attacks I need someone that can throw the enemy off or give me an opening to deal real damage. Of course Vittoria , Austin and Brycen are the last team since two members lack soul colour it made sense they get to be the big team.
"Man this is rough every time I feel like we made progress the day before I swear everything looks the same the next." Max said complaining like he had the past ten days.
"I'll admit sometimes I've gotten a feeling of Deja vu." Pace said and most of us would agree only Justin and Sefton hadn't spoken a word about how some days the path felt the exact same or we got serious Deja vu.
"That's strange." Sefton said.
"What's strange Lord?" Justin asked.
"A few signatures of five individuals with soul colours just appeared out of nowhere about three hours from us." Sefton said suspicious.
"Yeah that's true I didn't get anything but suddenly out of nowhere I sense five signatures they aren't very strong about point three five Dellanima each." Carbry said like everyone their other than Sefton and Justin wasn't at point two five or two for anyone who wasn't Vittoria.
"How odd but I don't sense any malice from them if they were assassin's or agents from Desire I would sense some malice at least." Sefton said stroking his chin.
"Maybe Carbry didn't notice because he was distracted but for me not too notice for such an extended period something isn't right here." Sefton said we continued to walk past those same five individuals who all wore an armour with a symbol of a different animal each.
The five individuals were all of very different height and size one was a massive man with a bear symbol on the chest of his armour. Another man had the image of a tortoise, one a women judging from the feminine shape of the armour seemed to have a wolf image. Another which seemed to be a women from the also feminine armour but much taller than the other women had a tiger and the shortest of the bunch just had a hawk on his chest plate.
"Who are you?" Sefton asked.
The one with the tiger symbol took her helmet of to show the face of an attractive women with a few scars on her face. "You can call me tiger the others can also be called by their animal carvings on their chest plates." Tiger said her purple soul colour pulsing an aura around her armour.
"Okay Tiger I am Justin Emit and I would like to know exactly how you got under Lord Sefton's notice for at least three hours?" Justin asked.
"Oh simple we used and abused your blessing seedling." Tiger said stabbing Justin in through the chest with an arm that broke through it's armour showing that of a tiger.
"What?!" Sefton yelled in shock only for suddenly things to fade to black.
Perspective Doctor Despair
"Good seems Tiger and the others now how to use the blessing seed to their advantage." Despair said.
"They may not be able to keep their memories of the past few hours due to how the blessing works but with that armour they stay in the same place while their foes are sent less and less time back." Desire said.
"Indeed time such a powerful blessing in concept a shame we could never get it to work on someone under our control." Despair said.
"You know what the messenger says the Gods must have an even fair war and those from the other world must be killed but it must be balanced between the forces." Desire said stating word for word exactly what the messenger says to remind them of the rules.
"Yes the rules of the game that God's must play for an opportunity from the greatest God's the divine writers it's only natural we do our best to work around them for the Gods." Despair said.
"Time such a shame we had to make so many rules work arounds and weaknesses to such a strong ability." Desire said.
"I know but if we didn't it would be strong blessing in enemy hands and need I remind you it is exactly the sacrifice of a few such abilities that let's us all escape a curse." Despair said.
"True for the Gods may be biased but the divine writers have only so much allowance for this or what would be the challenge in gaining their opportunity." Desire said.
"Now then we need to focus back on breaking this cyclops free so Sefton won't get in the way of Tiger and her lot killing the other worlders." Despair said.
"Yes of course." Desire said using more power to try and carefully destroy the runes that kept the cyclops in question sealed in a massive stone tablet.
The stone tablet was huge and made of a strange stone seeming less actual stone and more Dellanima the pure power that permeates from it and the cyclops carved into it was immense. The glow of a green, yellow and blue light pulsating like a heart beat from the carving of the cyclops eye. The story of this cyclops was a legendary one it was one of the few survivors of the second cataclysm from the monster continent that had been sealed. This cyclops was the first individual to be successfully sealed through runes the ones that sealed this figure was none other than Sefton and Blaire over 500 years ago back when Blaire was only 25. The exact power of this cyclops wasn't weak or strong about 135 Dellanima when he was free and with the blessing that I and Desire had planned he would hold 140. The most important part is that with the blessing we had specifically designed for Sefton's perfect counter would be what gave him the edge. Even if the cyclops couldn't kill him to prevent him from helping the other worlders was enough since the blessings Tiger and her crew had were all specifically tailored for their foes of choice.
"Be careful remember we can't do this one like we did the others this is a very savage and brute force approach to sealing with runes. So one wrong move and we would not just free him but kill him wasting our effort of finding this stone." Despair said rubbing the runes more and more.
"We only have about three more hours till the time blessing can't go back any further and they will fight hopefully that lot can buy enough time for one more decent go back by killing Justin." Desire said rubbing the runes the main thing they had been doing after sending the perfected team of Tiger and her squad to kill the other worlders.
"Three days may seem a waste but I assure you it'll worth the wait with his strength this guy will be exactly what we need and those other worlders will ideally die and even if not we still have a few good monsters." Despair said pointing back at the several carvings of goats, sharks, boars, hawks, lions, wolves, bears, tortoises, tigers, foxes, snakes, elephants and even the several dozen of insect carvings in the back.
"Fair enough and that's not even mentioning the really valuable ones or the ones you've made like that master piece you've been working on what did you call it again?" Desire asked.
"Chimaera sublimation imagine a werewolf curse but instead of only a mammal like my other creations it can turn into anything and any monster we have even that lich we sealed for safe keeping." Despair said.
"Yes you've always been obsessed with making a curse like a werewolf that can turn people into none mammals ever since you made your first goat based one. Though I'll never understand how you were able to get the sizing to work and look like a human could wear it for that avian and tortoision." Desire said.
"The metal is special it protects against blessings with the right runes cared on the inside with some small space ones it's not hard to force the something so... difficult." Despair said reluctantly admitting it was challenge.
"Out of curiosity who might you turn into this masterpiece one you fully figure out the process?" Desire asked genuinely curious about who he would put through such pain.
"Myself of course their may be a few with seven colours in our ranks but not enough to waste a single one by testing the process on someone with such power." Despair said.
"Fair enough who better to be the absolute pinnacle of your experiments other than you." Desire said sighing.
"Though as to how exactly or even why exactly you would test on humans when we are elves is beyond me surely the process to be successful is different for us?" Desire said half asking.
"It is logically speaking but I have too few saved up elven subjects with three colours sealed away to waste better to burn the much larger human one for the large number of initial failures." Despair said with a tone like he was talking about his mild disappointment in frequently bad weather.
"Fair enough who knows if one does well enough that could be used to try and kill one of the other worlders." Desire said with a tone that seemed equally unserious about a truly inhumane process of making a werewolf but with the cursed form being shift able through any of the many humanoid monster they had.
Perspective Jay
"Pace something seems wrong about this I may not be able to say for sure but I think we may be in a time loop that is getting smaller by an hour each use." Jay said.
"What tells you that?" Pace asked.
"I don't know but something about being so deep in the mindscape seems to protect me from most forms of abnormal activity even if not completely." Jay said.
"Like the Deja vu that's been popping up frequently." Pace said.
"Yes and I feel almost 100% sure anyone we meet in the next two hours or so cannot be trusted worse yet they are likely our next enemies." Jay said.
"I see do you have any ideas to increase our power if they are strong or have counters to most of our moves we need to be careful." Pace said.
"One idea we try and move in unison it may not be enough for Fey mode but it should be enough to force out pseudo Fey mode even if not on command it should help summon it for some attacks." Jay said.
"Okay then we move as one that should do the trick for using pseudo Fey mode every now and again." Pace said.
"No thinking just doing we exist in the same head space on the same plain of the mindscape when we try it." Jay said almost exactly two hours later we met Tiger and her gang of odd people in white armour with a very faint sense of runes just beneath the armour.
"Jay do you think this is it I sure do okay let's do this." Pace said muttering it under his breath only to be shocked when Tiger puts a transformed tiger arm through Justin's chest.
"What?!" Pace screamed in shock only for everything to turn black.
Perspective Deadly Desire
"Finally the last of the stupid runes." Desire said rubbing it away and the stone suddenly and violently broke and a cyclops appeared screaming in rage from it.
"Blaire, Sefton! Your dead!" The cyclops yelled.
"Afraid your a bit too weak for that these days friend so how about you get a crack at Sefton with this blessing designed to counter him killing him isn't impossible." Desire said using her desire blessing on the cyclops.
"Yes revenge I would so love that and for it to please you my lady the revenge is just a bonus." The cyclops said.
"Your name is Tacitus yes?" Despair asked.
"Yes it is my lord it is my honour to serve and aid you both." Tacitus said.
"Stand still this will hurt but it'll give you the blessing and give you a little trump card thanks to how my blessing works." Despair said using his doctor blessing to slice open his soul and implant the white light of the blessing along with a small black light from a black orb he carried on his person everywhere.
"Now go and don't kill the ones in the white armour they re their to make sure no-one helps Sefton." Despair said as the cyclops jumped away through a massive gate with runes on.
"That'll take him about an hour even with the runes gate and running." Desire said.
"What curse did you even put in him?" Desire asked.
"The curse of death if he doesn't die in the next 2 hours the curse causes his body to explode it may not kill Sefton but it definitely would kill the other worlders." Despair said.
"That's rather unlikely to happen given even with such an advantage Sefton is still levels stronger." Desire said.
"Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it besides an hour to kill his counter is near impossible for the Sefton of today the odds are very much in our favour." Despair said.
