Chapter 1 - Phobos & Deimos: The Regret

As they mention in the past fear always leads to panic....

Yet others still aspire to use these emotions to manipulate the majority....

Fire engulfed the Ruins of villages in the battlefields made by two weapons, as the destruction spread towards Erinas the capital of the continent of Uru. Casualities reached the thousands as many are slaughtered by The Daggers, to say it is a war is an understatement due to it being mostly won by the corrupted Daggers.

It was tragic that thousands lives were indiscriminately stripped by the war against the Daggers Phobos and Deimos. Many were forced to evacuate the continent itself due to the sheer destruction that these weapons caused. The blame shifted to the innocent wielder as the people did not know that he was just a mere pawn that could not reclaim control of his own body due to the corrupted nature of the daggers. Many fled to an island which not even the thirteen weapons of destruction could reach due to a rare metal ore named Faux Mechanus which has the property of nullifying the weapons of destruction by stripping away their concept and ability.

In the middle of the war to protect the capital Erinas, The Ever Knight came and yelled to the Daggers of Phobos and Deimos, "I shall send you weapons to the forge where you came from! Never again shall you be a hindrance to the capital and the rest of the world!" A wave of silence came with an aura of darkness as the wielder of the daggers a man who was severely drained of energy fighting against his will weakly spoke, "Help me... Knight... put an end to this! I cannot control the blades... but I can't sit idly and do nothing!" The young man pushed his will to the limit to restrain the daggers, the Everknight spreads the faux mechanus dust to hinder the ability of the daggers yet it was in vain due to the sheer corruption that the daggers emitted.

The knight had only one choice it was either leaving the host alive in agony in a sealed prison or give the man the ultimate act of mercy and release him from the pain that he is inflicted upon by the blades.

In the end, The knight did want to do it. He had no other choice but to kill the man to put an end to the chaos. In a rare instant the knight regretted his choice but he knew there was no other way. He cursed at the daggers for being the catalyst of the disaster and for the deaths of thousands. He picked the blades up and in a frustration threw them into the sky instead of sealing it as he did not want a reminder of what he failed to do that day. The blade fell from the sky and into the ruins of purification by chance. A young merchant saw it and its possible value but left it for a long time as he knew that the ruins could purify something that is cursed no matter what type it is.

(Back to the Capital Erinas)

The Everknight was once again celebrated as the key figure that continued to maintain safety and peacefulness of the continent. Though he could not shake the fact that he did something as foolish as throwing the Daggers into the sky not knowing where it fell.
