A/N: Alright so I'm just writing this for fun so don't expect too much, I'll try my best to make this a bit different from the og novel but the plot will mostly remain the same, the mc is just here to farm stats and have relationships with the girls, as there was no romance on the og novel.
English is my third language so if you find any inconsistencies in the fanfic and mistakes, I'll fix them. I used chat-gpt to just correct the grammar and nothing else.

A handsome young man with black hair and eyes was lounging in a recliner when a blue panel suddenly flickered to life before him.
[DING!!!!!]
[Hello, host. You have been chosen by the Simulator System (≧▽≦)]
"Huh. Should I tell my psychiatrist I'm hallucinating? No… probably not. She already thinks I'm crazy. If I mention this, she'll send me straight to a mental asylum."
As he debated whether to keep quiet about the apparent hallucination, the blue panel updated itself again.
[Uh… um, host, you are not hallucinating and you are not insane… well, maybe you are, but that's fine ⊙﹏⊙]
"…Interesting. Ignoring that last part—what exactly can you do?"
[I am the Simulator System. I can transmigrate your soul into the worlds of the novels and manhwa you've read. The simulation ends when you die there or choose to end it yourself. Aren't I amazing ᕙ(@°▽°@)ᕗ? And that's not even all—before every simulation you'll choose one of three talents, and you can keep the chosen talent in reality afterward.]
"Wow, that's amazing. But tell me this—do I keep the power and equipment I gain in those worlds, or do I lose everything when I return?"
[You keep all power you've earned. Equipment can be retained by paying the appropriate System Points. Why not start a simulation and see?]
"Alright. Do I choose the world myself, or is it random?"
[You decide, of course! The talents are based on the world you pick. Aren't I the best ୧(˵°~°˵)୨]
He kept asking questions—whether people in those worlds would remember him, what happened to his real world while he was gone—and learned that every world he visited would keep moving after his departure, with everyone remembering him. Time in his real world would simply stop until the simulation ended.
After thinking for a long while, he finally said, "Alright, I've decided. The first world I'll visit is Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God."
[Excellent choice, host. Here are your available talents—all top tier!]
• Supreme Adaptability – You can adapt to anything given enough time.
• A Good Friend – Select one person as your "good friend." You'll gain ten times all of their gains, provided they see you as a close friend.
• Frightening Genius – You're a genius at everything; mastery comes effortlessly.
After staring at the glowing panel for a full minute, he shook his head.
"I choose A Good Friend."
[Acknowledged, host. Beginning soul transmigration.]
------
Jin-Hai City, Eastern Alley.
Inside a cramped 15-square-meter apartment, two young men slept—one on an old bed, the other on a futon on the floor.
The alley was a narrow stretch of aging three-story buildings and cheap tea stalls, the kind of place where first-year students rented tiny rooms. The air always smelled faintly of frying oil and detergent. Jin-Hai University was a ten-minute walk away.
Early morning. The sun had just begun to rise.
Di! Di! Di!
An alarm rang relentlessly.
Shi Feng groaned, reached for his phone, and answered with a groggy voice that sounded half-drunk.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Brother Feng, it's me, Blackie! Didn't we agree to become professional gamers? Shadow's Workshop's recruiting at our school today! You've always wanted to join Shadow's core team, right?"
Shi Feng blinked, confused.
He'd just been fired by Lan Hua Financial Group—so why would he attend Shadow's recruitment?
"Brother Feng? Hello? They're testing at ten o'clock! If you don't hurry, you'll miss it! And tell that lazy guy to come too!"
Blackie hung up before Shi Feng could respond.
Before he could process anything, a gruff voice cut through the room.
"You fucker, it's six in the morning. Why are you shouting your delusions? Had a dream or something?"
Ravin—who had lived in this world for twenty-one years—spoke with a hoarse, irritated voice, though he already understood why Shi Feng was acting strange.
After arriving in this world, Ravin's life hadn't been easy. He'd grown up in an orphanage until sixteen, then worked multiple part-time jobs just to survive and finish school. Still, he never complained. To him, every hardship was just another new experience, though many might call his life miserable.
When he finally entered Jin-Hai University, he'd planned to rent a small room near campus. Coincidentally, Shi Feng was searching for a place too, so they decided to share an apartment to save money. Two years later, the two had become genuine friends—along with Blackie—something Ravin hadn't really known in his previous life.
"Brother Ravin, why are you here? And why'd you quit Shadow just because they fired me? You were guaranteed to become a Tier 6—"
"How many times have I told you not to call me 'Brother'? Just Ravin. And what's wrong with you? Shadow Workshop starts recruiting today. Did you finally go insane from all your gaming strategies?"
Shi Feng blinked, then chuckled weakly. "It's nothing. Just a nightmare. I dreamt I was kicked out of Shadow after ten years of hard work."
His voice turned bitter at the end, though he quickly masked it. This time, he swore he would build his own empire—his own virtual kingdom.
Just as he regained his resolve, Ravin smirked. "You know, that's why I tell you to get a girlfriend. Maybe you wouldn't be so lonely. Or… are you into men now?"
Shi Feng froze, veins pulsing. Ravin's expression twisted into exaggerated disgust as he took a step back, silently asking his System if he could retrieve his memories from before Shi Feng's reincarnation.
[Yes, Host. You may regain them for 100,000 System Points.]
Ravin grimaced. He had barely 2,000 points total since befriending Shi Feng and Blackie. "Heartless thing…" he muttered under his breath.
Before Shi Feng could retort, Blackie's call came again—this time urging both of them to get to the university immediately for registration.
They didn't rush. Both dressed calmly and left for Jin Hai University, chatting lightly on the way.
By the time Ravin and Shi Feng reached campus, the morning rush had already begun. Students hurried across the courtyard, coffee in hand, while club recruiters shouted half-heartedly from their booths.
Blackie was easy to spot—waving both arms like an air traffic controller. "Brother Feng! Ravin! Over here!"
Shi Feng sighed. "You'd think we were the ones paying him."
Ravin smirked but said nothing.
"Brother Feng! Ravin! You're finally here! Registration's still open—hurry up!"
Shi Feng shook his head. "Blackie, I'm not joining Shadow. I'm starting my own Workshop. Will you join me?"
He'd already discussed it with Ravin, who agreed instantly—on the condition that he'd be vice-leader.
Blackie froze. The Shi Feng standing before him felt different—steady, confident, almost commanding.
"Brother Feng, do you have any idea how much a Virtual Gaming Helmet costs? Eight thousand Credits! And you need six people to start a Workshop. That's seventy to eighty thousand upfront, minimum! Do you even have that?"
"You're right," Shi Feng admitted calmly. "Right now, I don't even have enough for a gaming helmet."
"Then don't be reckless! At least Shadow provides the helmets. Otherwise, we can't even play God's Domain!"
Shi Feng met his gaze firmly. "I don't want to be controlled by anyone again. So, Blackie, will you join me? Ravin already has."
After a long pause, Blackie sighed. "You're the boss. Fine. But what about the helmets?"
Shi Feng's expression softened. "That's easy. There's a trial period for university students—ten days of free access with student ID. Let's go grab them."
"What about after ten days?"
"Leave that to me." Shi Feng smiled confidently, clapping Blackie on the shoulder. He looked towards Ravin for help but he simply shrugged. "The risk's what makes it fun."
Hearing this Blackie really felt that he was doomed.
Later that day, the three picked up their helmets. Back at their apartment, Shi Feng and Ravin spent nearly all their money on four boxes of instant noodles—enough for ten days. After Shi Feng briefed them on God's Domain's mechanics, they each entered the game.
Ravin lay back on his futon, eyes bright with anticipation. "This is going to be fun." He pressed the start button and drifted into darkness.

Inside God's Domain
To accommodate players, God's Domain could be played while sleeping. Two hours in-game equaled one hour in reality. Each in-game day lasted forty-eight hours: thirty for day, eighteen for night.
Ravin emerged from a swirling tunnel of color and stepped into a grand, golden temple.
A palm-sized angel with four pairs of wings fluttered toward him.
"Welcome, adventurer, to God's Domain. I am the Navigation Angel, Gabriel. Please choose one of the four main categories and twelve primary jobs."
With a wave of her tiny hand, glowing illustrations appeared.
Warrior: Shield Warrior, Guardian Knight, Berserker
Weapons Specialist: Swordsman, Assassin, Ranger
Healer: Cleric, Druid, Oracle
Mage: Elementalist, Summoner, Cursemancer
Warriors specialized in defense, weapon specialists in physical combat, healers in recovery, and mages in magical destruction. Every class had its own distinct charm but Ravin liked the idea of slashing and cutting his enemies with a sword, so grinned and choose the swordsman class.
[Job selected: Swordsman.]
"Please designate a name for your character."
"DarkRavin."
He chose the same name he had on almost all social media in his world.
"Naming successful. Do you wish to adjust your appearance? Adjustment rate limited to 15%."
Thinking about it for awhile, he chose to adjust his character's appearance by 15% as he was just too handsome, he had black hair with pitch black eyes, even though he was a bit malnourished he was still very good looking. Even with this adjustment he was still handsome but nobody could recognize him if they only ever saw his character.
"Please select a birthplace in the Star-Moon Kingdom."
A map that displayed tens of cities belonging to the Star-Moon Kingdom appeared in front of him.
The opening of God's Domain was globally synchronized. To accommodate for the hundreds of millions of players, the lands of God's Domain were incredibly vast, measuring up to two or three times of Earth, and the kingdoms within were even more plentiful. However, a player's living area and city, in reality, determined the country they would start in, so players could only choose the cities within the country.
"White River City."
Ravin did not plan to choose any other cities, as this place was where most of the plot was focused so he chose the White River City.
White River City was Star-Moon Kingdom's fifth ranked city. It was an important city in the north of Star-Moon Kingdom There were quite a few Workshops that chose to develop there to avoid the struggles between large Guilds.
"City confirmed. Player will arrive in Bamboo Town of White River City in three seconds. We wish you happy gaming."
The sight before him immediately blurred as he was sent away.
Bamboo Town, the buildings that were chaotically arranged there had a similar style to the medieval ages. NPCs filled the bustling streets, making them feel as if it was another world.
Ravin arrived at the front of a church, his new appearance resembling a penniless Swordsman. He currently wore a gray Novice Leather Armor and on his waist hung a Novice Sword.
He had no idea where he was but he just shrugged it off and was about to open his attribute panel he suddenly instantly got bombarded with notification from the main-god system.
