The morning air was quiet, the sky pale with drifting clouds.
A faint breeze carried the scent of wet asphalt and early dew through the streets as a young boy with a crimson eyes hidden within his messy hairs... walked toward his college. His name is Ren.
His hands were tucked into his pockets, his black jacket swaying softly with each step. Around him, students in uniforms chatted in small groups, laughing, complaining, living — but not one of them spared him a glance.
"Same as always…"
Ren sighed quietly to himself, brushing a lock of dark hair from his eyes.
His college campus loomed ahead — tall glass buildings and familiar concrete paths, filled with the hum of ordinary life. Yet today, something in the air felt different. A strange heaviness.
Ren entered his classroom, the door sliding open with a soft click. Inside, nine other students were already there, chatting in groups. He passed quietly between them, unnoticed, and took his usual seat in the far corner by the window.
The sunlight slipped across his desk, warm and golden. He rested his chin on his hand, staring out at the blue sky — until the sound of heels clicked against the floor.
"Everyone, take your seats," came a clear, firm voice.
The classroom fell quiet. Their teacher stepped in — a woman in her mid-twenties with flowing brown hair tied neatly behind her and golden eyes gleamed with calm confidence.
"I'm sure you've all heard the announcement," she began, folding her hands. "The semester exams are approaching. This will test not only your written knowledge but your practical understanding as well. So—"
Her words cut off.
A faint hum began to vibrate under the floor.
"Huh?" one student muttered.
Light bloomed beneath their desks. A circle — no, a massive array of intricate runes — spread outward, glowing in bright azure light. The walls trembled. Symbols spun and converged under their feet, filling the entire classroom with blinding radiance.
"What the—!?"
"Is this some kind of prank?!"
"Everyone, calm down!" the teacher shouted, her voice quivering despite herself.
Ren's eyes widened. The patterns underfoot were unmistakable — runes, sigils, the kind he'd only seen in fantasy anime and novels.
"What the-- No way. This can't be real—)
The light flared. Everything vanished in a burst of brilliance.
---
When Ren opened his eyes, the world had changed.
He found himself standing on polished marble — in a vast, golden hall that shimmered with sunlight. The air was warm, heavy with mana. Towering pillars rose toward an impossibly high ceiling, and at the far end, a grand throne of white stone sat beneath a tapestry of stars.
"Sigh- So that was really a magic circle..." Ren realised and muttered.
"What… what is this place?" a student questioned.
"Where are we?" another shouted.
The teacher — Aria Lyselle, still dazed — took a protective stance in front of her students. "Everyone, stay close!"
A soft chant filled the room. An elderly man stood before the throne, his long white beard flowing, his eyes calm and wise. He raised his staff, and a circle of light formed above them. The students' voices fell silent as his magic pulsed outward.
Suddenly, they could understand him.
"Be not afraid, young ones," said the man. "You have been brought here by the will of our King."
Whispers filled the hall.
"Asterion?, Kingdom.?" Ren thought.
Before he could dwell on it, the heavy doors at the end of the hall opened. The clank of armored boots echoed as guards lined the sides — and through them walked a man draped in royal crimson, his golden crown catching the sunlight.
The King of Asterion — tall, with silvered hair and sharp blue eyes that gleamed with authority. His face was aged, but his posture radiated control, power, and something else — calculation.
"Welcome, heroes from another world," the King said warmly, spreading his arms. "I am King Aldric of Asterion. You have my deepest gratitude for answering our summons."
The students exchanged bewildered looks.
"Summons?"
"Another world?"
"Heroes?!"
The King smiled gently. "Yes… you have crossed worlds. This land faces great peril, and soon, you shall understand why. But for now, rest. You are safe within our walls. Tomorrow, we will conduct the Revelation Ceremony — to awaken your magic and abilities."
Aria hesitated. "But.....sir—"
He raised a hand politely. "You have my word, lady from another world. You and your students will be treated with the highest respect. The details can wait until dawn."
And with that, he turned and departed with his guards, his crimson cape trailing behind him like a slow-moving flame.
---
That evening, the ten of them sat together in a richly furnished chamber — velvet couches, golden lamps, and a single fireplace crackling with blue fire.
Teacher Aria Lyselle stood before them, her arms folded tightly. The faint glow of the fire reflected in her amber eyes.
"Alright," she said softly. "Let's talk. We need to understand what just happened."
The students nodded uneasily.
Toya Saiki, the confident one with dark hair and sharp eyes, slammed his hand on the table. "Sensei, what's there to understand? We were kidnapped!"
Aria sighed, holding her composure. "Toya, please. I don't like it either. But right now, we're in another world."
Seena Daro, her short golden hair bouncing as she leaned back, groaned. "If it's real, then fine. Where's the magic? Where's the adventure? At least make it fun if we're stuck here."
"Seena…" Aria exhaled. "This isn't a game."
Across from her, Yashino Yagahi adjusted his glasses, his voice calm but thoughtful.
"Sensei, I think our best option is to observe. That ceremony tomorrow might reveal something important."
Beside him, Furia Tiyao sat curled up, her braid resting over her shoulder. "I… I don't like this. I want to go home…"
Tall, awkward Wuta Tenshiro tried to reassure her, scratching the back of his head.
"Hey, don't worry..." Wuta's word never was clear...
"Oh did you say something Wuta ?" Furia confused and asked.
Wuta Nodded as nothing.
"Or maybe they'll never let us leave," Toya muttered worriedly.
The fire popped. Shadows danced across the walls.
Aria looked around the room, her tone firm but kind.
"Listen. I don't know why we were brought here. But we're together. So for now, we'll cooperate and stay calm. We'll face whatever comes — as a class."
Everyone fell quiet, the weight of her words grounding them. Even Toya said nothing more.
In the corner, Ren Arclight sat alone, listening. He hadn't spoken since arriving. His gaze was distant, thoughtful.
Seena glanced over. "Hey, Ren. You good?"
He blinked. "...Yeah.."
Aria smiled faintly. "You've always been quiet, Ren. Don't worry. We'll figure this out together."
It was the first time in a long while that someone had spoken to him gently. He gave a small nod.
---
Later that night, the students were shown to their rooms — lavish chambers lined with red carpets and ornate beds. Pairs were assigned together.
All except Ren.
He sat alone on his bed, staring at the golden chandelier above.
"Another world... magic... heroes..."
He clenched his fist slowly.
"If this is real, then there's a reason. People don't get summoned for nothing."
He closed his eyes, exhaling deeply.
"In those anime, the protagonist always checks for a system, right? Then maybe…"
He hesitated, then whispered under his breath.
"System… open."
Nothing happened.
"Sigh ..... Figured"
But then, he sat straighter, focused — and said again, "Status… open."
A soft chime echoed in the air.
Before his eyes, a faintly glowing mana screen materialized — not mechanical, but woven from shimmering blue light. Letters etched themselves into the air.
---
[Name:] Ren
[Level:] 0
[Class:] Form Zero
[Experience:] 0 / 500
[Magic Type:] Dark Magic
[Spells:] • Conceal [ LvL 1 ]
[Mana Capacity:] ∞
---
Ren stared. "Dark Magic? Gotta be common I guess, well suited.. But the question is what the hell is that 'Form Zero' Class ? It doesn't looks usual.....and this spell— Conceal? What will it do ?..... And what's wrong with this Mana Capacity ? Huh ? What's this simbol...sigh"
He thought for a minute then thought ..
"If I'm not right then this Spell should hide something... Hmmm... Should I test it on my status screen..?"
"[Conceal Status!]"
He casted then the screen flickered — then all data vanished, replaced by blank lines.
"...It worked?" He blinked. "No level, no class... everything's hidden..."
Then he thought of how to redo the spell
"If I want to dispelled it then do the opposite word of Conceal work ? Let's see"
"[Reveal Status]" he said.
The real numbers returned.
"So I can hide the original data of my status... Ummm what about other things ? Can I hide objects ? Let's see"
He curiositily muttered then casted again..
"Conceal bed !"
Nothing happened.....
"Sigh..... So it only works within me .... Hmm... Then --"
"[Conceal Presense]"
The air shifted. His reflection in the mirror faded until the room looked completely empty. Even his shadow vanished.
He smirked a little. "Heh. It worked.. nice now I can hide myself... it is a useful spell for someone like me.... interesting"
"[Reveal Presence]" after He dispelled the spell, leaned back on the bed.
"Magic Sure is interesting huh..... watching animes and reading fantasy novels really paid off" he muttered himself.
"Hmmm but this Mana Capacity Sure is suspicious.... the Capacity might shows how much this mana thing I have..... But instead of numbers it shows a weird symbol ... But this symbol looks like a symbol I'm familiar with in my real world .... Wait .... Don't tell me that it's that Infinite Symbol ..? Uhhh.... Infinite Mana Capacity ... Damn ... I must hide this ... Because obviously this isn't a normal sign ..... Sigh ... Not yet ... Tomorrow I must observe others status also .. then I'll decide what to do.."
Ren talks to himself more ... And realised that he got unusually Infinite Mana Capacity and decided to hide it when he observe others status tomorrow.
[Name:] Ren
[Level:] 0
[Class:] Form Zero
[Experience:] 0 / 500
[Magic Type:] Dark Magic
[Spells:] • Conceal [ LvL 2 ]
[Mana Capacity:] ∞
"Well I only have 1 spell and it levels up after I used 2 times huh ?.... Hmm... Interesting..." He muttered again.
After that the candlelight flickered across his face as he whispered,
"Let's see what tomorrow brings."
