That same exact day everything went south. random portals everywhere, monster swarming the city like it belonged to them.
The news on the random television my eyes landed on made it clear that it wasn't just our city that was under attack.
There were buildings coming to ground, there were dargons. real dragons which i thought only existed in stories.
Everyone was losing hope, that is when..
People started to develop abilities and skills when they found themselves or their loved ones in danger. Thus we called them the 'Awakened' .
Those people are assigned by ranks by the "System"
Now after the system that can check your rank in seconds It became hell for people who are F-rank. People who have S-ranks have higher pay and better strength then anyone else, They are the most respected people.
Unfortunately my rank was.. you guessed it.
Its F-rank.
