Steve was returning home after his exhausting classes and part-time job at the end of the day. He was an average-built boy with black hair and black eyes, lacking any particularly attractive features. There he was just standing, waiting for a bus at the bus station, thinking about how dull his life had been lately without love or any sort of excitement. Due to his exhaustion, he dozed off while standing, slipped from the sidewalk, and fell onto the road. When Steve opened his eyes, all he could hear was the sound of a blaring horn and the bright lights from the bus's headlights.
At that moment, all Steve could think of was "What a boring life it was."

Steve suddenly jolted awake and wondered if he had somehow survived the accident and was in a hospital, but when he looked around him, he did not see the expected scenes of a hospital ward with rushing doctors and other patients lying in bed; instead, he saw a large, well-lit room with grand wooden furniture and oil lamps. Steve was bewildered, wondering where he was.
"Maybe someone rescued me from the road and took me to their home," He thought to himself. "Anyway, I should let them know that I'm awake and am ready to leave. I can't be late for class tomorrow." Thinking this, Steve slowly got up from the bed and walked towards the door. Right when he was about to reach the door, he saw a mirror to his left side and saw himself in the mirror.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh...."
A man dressed in a medieval knight's outfit suddenly opened the door and asked, "Your Highness, Is everything alright?"
While looking at the man, some realization dawned in Steve's mind. But he thought, "No way this is real. Did I get transmigrated to another world, just like in an anime? Maybe this is just a dream, but this feels too real to be one."
While Steve was deep in contemplation, standing there with a dazed look, that man asked again, "Your Highness, Is everything alright?" This time in a more concerned tone.
Breaking off from the daze, Steve asked, "Who are you? Where am I?"
"I am your guard knight, Roger, and you're in the Royal Palace, Your Highness," the knight replied.
After speaking with the knight for some time and reading some of the books and a diary on the desk in the room, Steve came to an unbelievable realization. He had died on Earth and had been transmigrated to another world. His name was Chris Redheart, the Crown Prince and the second son of King Arthur Redheart in the Kingdom of Phoenix, and the most astounding fact was that his coronation was tomorrow.
