Reverie Mirage: Panlias Event
"Unhand me, this is an order!" I screamed from the top of my lungs, but the grip the guards had on me only grew tighter.
"I apologize, Your Highness, but the King has ordered not to let you leave the castle." The commander-in-chief responded calmly.
I glared at him, cursing him mentally with all the strength I've got. I even considered summoning a shadow to push them all away, but I'm reminded that these men are still my people. As I contemplated my next move, the guards dragged me out of the castle's main entrance.
Faenikzha.
What did they mean by you going missing?
You are your kingdom's most precious jewel, the weapon meant to stop the war, and the beginning to my end. Someone as significant to history as you cannot just disappear from the world without warning. Where is the disaster? Why is there no calamity striking this godforsaken land? Where is the grand earthquake to erase the roads you've taken? Where is the treacherous flood to sweep away all those who have wronged you?
The guards practically threw me to my bed and hastily locked the door behind them. I heard the scattering of footsteps coming from all directions, but they suddenly paused. Only one could be heard echoing through the halls, and the heavy footsteps grew louder as it approached my door. I immediately understood whose presence graced my floor.
I stood up from my bed and watched as this individual unlocked the door. He stood before it with a line of guards following him.
"Father." I tried to hide my scorn under my breath.
"Panlias." He spoke as if he spat on my name. "With what right did you disturb today's council? This is unlike you."
I gripped the fabric on my trousers and breathed in. I wanted to stay calm, but I could feel the tears bursting out of my eyes, and all I wanted to do was yell at him.
"What happened to Zesseyel's Divine Child?" I asked curtly. "What do you mean she has disappeared?"
Father looked me up and down as if those ruby-colored eyes were studying my entire visage. I adjusted my posture and raised my chin accordingly. My father was always wary of people, after all, politics in the kingdom has been turbulent, and almost everything that can go south has already gone south as if they're birds migrating for the winter. No one was safe from his distrust, even his own son.
"…. Alright." Father raised a hand.
The guards bowed in sync, left the room, and closed the door behind them.
Father locked the door and walked to my side. Even in privacy, he marches as if he were on a battlefield. He was a man who'd accept no compromise; I was sure he had a gun under his cape in case he saw a potential threat in me.
"Panlias." He said my name in a deeper voice. It immediately took my breath away, and suddenly, I lost the composure I was building up.
"The time to end the war has come; we can finally claim the country."
"What?" was all I could respond with. He gave me that inquisitive look again as if he wasn't impressed by my reaction.
"I got the reports, and there are traces of inter-cosmos rituals in the investigation of her disappearance. She's been banished." Father explained coldly, as if he were detached from the whole situation.
"Inter-cosmos?!" I blurted out, feeling the tears rise to my eyes.
So, she's just gone…? Our distant promises grew even further, to the point that the destination will forever be unreachable.
"How could this happen?!" I unconsciously shouted, throwing my hands up in the air. "How can the prophecy be fulfilled now…?"
"What are you blubbering about, Panlias?" Father raised a brow. "Your life is no longer in danger. Is that something to be angry about?"
Father is right. Any other individual would be celebrating this fact, but as for me, I lost my life's purpose. Faenikzha, she's the only reason why I realized my dream and got this far.
"Can't you see? It doesn't matter if it's the oracle; the point is the fighting will continue for as long as fate isn't fulfilled." I sighed in desperation.
If I knew she'd disappear like this, then I wouldn't have fought fate… I would've accepted it all without question.
"What are you trying to imply, Panlias?" Father growled, gripping the hilt of his sword tightly.
"I'm going to go find her even if you all go against me." I declared, gulping down the lump forming in my throat. "I don't care if I die. If I'm going to meet the maker, then it shall be by her hand."
Before Father could retaliate, I ran past him. I jumped out of the window, then ran into the night.

Emery's POV
Alright. It's only been a day, I've collected all the event chapters, and I'm in the top 1% in the global rankings. I'd call that solid progress.
The event this month seems promising… It's been a few months since they've written about Panlias and Faenikzha. Sucks that it had to be now, since I have school to worry about!
Somehow, the planets aligned, and I got high grades in my subjects last semester. Honestly, it's only because the topics interested me, and it's definitely not because I'm a genius. However, this meant I got promoted to the Star Section and the crazy people who stay there have to maintain at least an 85% average to survive.
Honestly, I hope I fail a class so I can go back to my sedentary lifestyle.
Ring! Ring!
That's my alarm. Looks like it's time to sleep. Even though it's only 9 P.M. Because I'm in the Star Class and I have extra subjects to take. As if I don't hate everyone and everything already.
I quickly collected the gems I got from finishing Panlias' story event before going to sleep.
