*At the Luke's residence*
A young , tall, handsome and elegant twenty one year old man was sitting in the study going through some documents. He had become the youngest CEO at Nine city. His grandfather had handed over the power of Luke enterprises to him when he was ninenteen. Since then ,the company has been growing rapidly under his leadership.
He was still focused on the documents when someone knocked on the door.
" Come in." He said
" Boss Alexander, I brought you good news." His assistant came in to report.
" It better be worth it." He said looking up without any expression.
" It is, she has finally accepted the admission of X international university. It will now be easy to locate her."
" Is it who am thinking about."
" Yes boss, it's your friend assassin R who saved your life. Remember we found out she is good at computers and used the principal of X international university to send out an admission. She rejected it but now she accepted. We will soon know her real name after the registration the day after tomorrow but she is likely to arrive tomorrow." He gave the details of their investigation.
" Your bonus will be doubled. Keep me updated." He replied signalling him to leave.
" Yes boss." He left smiling.
Alexander sat in the study , his mind going back to that day. He had just taken over the Luke enterprises. He had gone to inspect a project at a remote village when he was ambushed with assassin's. After fighting off most of them, he had just sat down in a dim alley to rest when she found him.
" It's not safe here." She had said to him in a sweet voice.
" Who are you?"
" Am one of them, someone posted the job on the dark web but after seeing your handsome face, I can't kill you." She said lifting up his face.
" How do you know how I look in this darkness?" He had asked
" I was born with sharp vision. Anyway am assassin R." She said leaning down to carry him.
He tried reaching for her mask but she avoided his hands. She was so petite yet she could easily carry him. She started walking towards the end of the alley warning him.
" Don't try anything funny. You probably don't know my reputation. I kill without a second thought. If I hadn't helped you handle them , you wouldn't be here. Now I have decided to protect you from now on. I will warn all those minions for you. Don't worry as long us it's on the dark web, no one will take the job. But you will have to promise me something."
"What is it?" He had asked
" To marry me in future and let me enjoy having a handsome husband." She replied laughing.
Later he had fainted and didn't respond. When he walk up, someone had bandaged his wounds and left him near his car with a written note. Her handwriting was so neat. " Find R on the dark web if you have any questions." The note read.
He had gone on the dark website looking for her but she had disappeared after posting on website to protect him. He had been using the clues left on the website to locate her and now their was a breakthrough. He smiled remembering how she kept bubbling until he fainted. She even said his face should be cherished. Since his mother died and his father remarried, he had been cold to everyone around himself not until he met her who promised to protect him. So far , no assassin could take any risk since the number one assassin known for cruel methods was protecting him. Nobody knew she was just a young girl. If not for having an encounter with her, even he couldn't believe she was a girl.
" I will definitely give you a positive response to the promise." He chuckled diving back into sorting out the documents.

Robinah slept well and woke up early to go to the train station. She bought the best tickets considering her grandmother had aged. She needed to be comfortable. After returning home, her grandmother had already prepared breakfast and cleaned the house. They lived in a small villa.
" Good morning grandma."
" Good morning dear. Where are you coming from?"
" I went to get us tickets to Nine city."
" Did you manage to get them?"
" Yes grandma." She replied drinking the juice her grandmother had made for her with pancakes.
" Clean the dishes and check our luggage before we start preparing to leave. Am going to bathe." Her grandmother told her patting her head lovingly.
She liked this granddaughter of hers dearly. She was the only companion she had in her last year's. She would like to see her shine and succeed in whatever she did. Now that she had decided to go back to school, she was happy for her. She remembered the day she received the email with the admission letter.
" I won't go grandma, you know I can't learn anything new." She had said
" Dear please go . You might learn something new."
" I have already made my decision . I don't want to go."
" Okay , okay don't get angry. I support your decision."
After that day, no one talked about the matter again. She feared she won't live like her age mates and make friends. But now everything had changed. The decision to go back to school and not follow her parents had made her happy.
Sighing, she went to get ready for their journey. This would mark a new path for her granddaughter. She would do anything to get her a good life.
After having a quick breakfast, they departed with their small luggage. Robinah had a sling bag while her grandmother carried a handbag. They had decided to get their daily necessities in the city. Thus , they only carried a few of their clothes.
After half an hour, they arrived at the train station and boarded. Waiting for only fifteen minutes before their departure. Robinah sat on the bunk bed while her grandmother slept through out the journey. They arrived at Nine city at 8 p.m. Robinah took her to a hotel to lodge for the night as they waited for tomorrow to go look for a house.
What they didn't know was that after they left, a luxury car entered their village and drove straight to their compound. The car carried the Grays. They had come for her but found everywhere abandoned. They asked around but no one seemed to have seen them. After a long period of searching, they learnt from a young man that they had gone towards the train station.
" Maybe that old woman decided to bring her home personally." Mrs, Gray said clearly irritated and angry.
" We have to head back and confirm before looking any further information." Mr. Gray said boarding their car. Only Jessica remained silent and kept looking around the compound. Something seemed off but she couldn't pinpoint anything for now.
" Okay , let's go back. I didn't even want to come to this stinky place in the first place." Mrs . Gray crumbled scrunching her nose. She couldn't bring herself to stay any longer. The place looked tidy but she was used to a life of luxury.
Their driver started the car and zoomed off. Leaving behind a cloud of dust. Inside the car, Jessica seemed lost in thought but no one noticed. They were busy complaining. Something seemed to have gone out of control.

On the other side, Robinah had a dream about her past life. In the dream, she seemed to have seen Alaxendar somewhere else before the city encounter. It seemed as if it was part of a forgotten memory. She even dreamt about praising him which seemed to be out of her character. The rest of the night was uneventful.
After the night's rest, they had breakfast and left to go look for an apartment near the school. They took a taxi to X international university. They met an agent and went to view some of the apartments that were available.
