Robinah woke up early and prepared herself for school. She made breakfast and made sure her grandmother won't lack anything before leaving. She didn't want her grandmother leaving the apartment area to avoid running into any of the Gray family members. They knew her grandmother but she knew they didn't remember her face. That was her advantage for now.
" See you later grandmother, if you feel bored, you can take a walk around."
" Okay dear, have a good day." She responded giving her a side hug.
Upon opening the door, she noticed the opposite apartment seemed to be occupied. She didn't think much about the new neighbors and rushed off to class.
She arrived in class just in time for the start of the lecture. She had been researching different modern medical practices knowledge and didn't have any difficulties in adjusting to the new medical knowledge.
A lot of students had dissatisfaction. Even some of the lecturers looked down on the young girl but after a day of getting to know her, they had a different opinion. She could easily solve problems and answer theoretical questions without any problems. She even knew advanced medical knowledge for senior students. Before the end of the school, her name had already spread. The new young genius was known to everyone even students from other departments knew her.
" Do you stay near the school premises?" As she was packing to leave, Grace appeared .
" Yeah." She simply replied finishing her packing.
" Can we be friends." Grace asked noticing her discomfort.
" Okay."
" That is great, am Grace a senior in modern medicine." She introduced herself.
" Call me Robinah."
They exchanged contact information as they left the school. She learned that Grace lived outside the school . She had to take the bus to and from school. She shared her address before they went their separate ways.
For the following week, Robinah's life was relatively simple. She went to school and came back to accompany her grandmother. Alexander would text her everyday to check up on her . They would chat about their days activities. She had gotten used to it. He kept reminding her of their agreed three days which was later extended to a week. She had requested for a week to consider . She knew the Luke family was a complicated family. With vampires luking in the shadows ready to devour each other's blood. Agreeing to Alexander's deal would mean more enemies.
On Friday evening after school, she met her grandmother laughing and talking with Alexander. That is when she learned that he was their neighbor.
" Come and greet our new neighbor." Her grandmother beckoned to her as she was standing at the door.
" Hello neighbor." She greeted with a sarcastic smile.
" Hello, am Alexander your new neighbor." He wasn't affected by her sarcasm at all. He liked seeing her angry but unable to do anything.
They continued chatting as she busied herself in the kitchen. Her grandmother insisted on treating Alexander to dinner. She couldn't do anything about it.
She prepared the dishes according to her past life memories of Alexander. He didn't like green onions and garlic, so she avoided using them.
After finishing up with the cooking, she dished the food and was about setting the table when Alexander came into the kitchen under the guise of helping.
" When should I expect an answer from you." He said taking the soup from her hands.
" Why are impatient, we agreed on a week." She replied looking at him." Just come find me on Sunday." Hearing her grandmother calling for her, she added and left to continue setting the table.
At the dining table, everyone was silently eating their meal. Alexander noticed the food was delicious and actually all the dishes were his favorites. He looked deeply at the young girl who pretended not to like him but actually knew so much about him. Few people knew his dislikes and likes.He was impressed.
" Your food was delicious." He commented helping her collect the dishes.
" Thanks"
" If you like it,make sure to bring your brother and visit often." Her grandmother said happily. Her granddaughter had always been good at cooking.
" I will grandma." Alexander was more than happy to keep visiting.
Robinah noticed his address but stayed silent. This guy hd already bought of her grandmother. He was so grafty. He noticed her small movements but just smiled. He knew only her grandmother could help him make it easy to lure her to his side.
After helping with washing the dishes, he quickly left. He wouldn't want to make the little guy angry. The matter needed to be taken a step at a time.
