The Gray family had been in turmoil since they learnt that all their efforts had proven abortive to find Robinah and old Mrs. Smith, her grandmother. They had vanished without a trace. They had even gone back to the village but no clues were found. It seemed like they never existed. The efforts made to trace their contacts didn't yield any results.
" There is no need to continue the search." Mr. Gray told his assistant. They couldn't continue wasting their resources with no positive results.
" Okay sir, I will inform the teams to stop the search immediately."
After closing from work in the evening, he called for a family meeting.
" I have called off the search. We have to execute our second plan. " He went straight to the point.
" I will help Jessica make some arrangements and packing." Her mother said.
" All arrangements for the two nurses , nanny and a doctor has already been made. They can be trusted. You just have to take care of yourself." He added
" I understand dad, mom , I will take care of myself." Jessica had already prepared herself for everything psychological.
" We will visit you from time to time to check up on you." Her mother promised looking at her lovingly. Jessica was their only child. They couldn't have another child. That is a story for another day.
" Okay, you leave the day after tomorrow." Her father concluded the meeting leaving for a business meeting.
Jessica was left with her mother to do the preparations. They had to go for shopping and buy a ticket tomorrow. They still had to come up with a valid reason to ask for school leave. She was still a high school student. They had already fired all the house maids . Only the trusted housekeeper with her husband were left till further notice. They couldn't risk anything going wrong.

Robinah was already aware of everything. She had hacked into their monitoring cameras. She had access to every of their moves. They had forgotten about the cameras they had installed in the house to monitor each other in secret. Even Jessica didn't know of them.
She had been using this loophole to spy on them. She had already infiltrated the villa that had been bought in country Y for Jessica stay abroad. One of the nurses was her person. She had already planted cameras everywhere in the villa. She was determined to pay them back in this life.

Since accepting to be his fiancee,Alex had been visiting their house regularly. He kept finding excuses to stay for dinner . He would text her throughout the day even if she failed to reply. Sometimes he would call just to hear her voice. It was supposed to be irritating but she liked it.
Grace had moved in with them. Her grandmother was so happy to see her make a friend who had turned family. Grace was 23 years old. She treated Robinah as a younger sister she never had. She was in her third year in campus , one year away to graduation. Robinah had talked to Alex to give her a part time job in one of his personal clinics.
Grace did not want to be a burden, thus she contributed to household expenses every month.
It had been six months since Robinah started school. Life had been peaceful. She had already started learning her second year knowledge. All the teachers found it easy to teach her. Grace had an advantage since she tutored her every weekend.
Some of the students had been jealous and tried to set her up but they never succeeded. Some of them ended up with demerits. She didn't go looking for trouble, but she wasn't afraid of it either.
" My sixteenth birthday is coming up soon. I need to finish my second year knowledge before then. " She told Grace while coming back from school.
" Will you have a birthday party?" Grace inquired.
" Just a small family gathering. You know I don't like large crowds." She responded . Her birthday will be on Friday, she only had two days to prepare a cake.
" Why not let grandma bake you a cake so that you can focus on your second year exam." Grace suggested.
" Well that makes sense. I will talk to her later."
Her grandmother would be more than happy to help. She had always baked a cake for her since she was young until she reached 10 years and learned how to bake herself.
After arriving home, they met their grandma discussing something with Alex. They stopped talking immediately they came in.
" What are you hiding from us grandma?" Robinah asked noticing the strange mood.
" Nothing, we were just discussing about the business I invested in."
" When did you start investing grandma?" Robinah didn't seem to believe her.
Noticing Alexander's and grandma's shift in expressions , Grace decided to help.
" Don't forget what you wanted to tell grandma."
" Ooh thanks for the reminder. It's been long I tasted your birthday cake grandma. Would you do me the honor of making me a cake this time ?" She asked acting cute.
" You know I won't disagree to your request." Her grandmother smiled. Robinah had always acted independent since she turned 10. It wasn't easy to see her asking for something like this. She had began showing emotions since they moved to the city.
" Then it's settled." Giggling she left to get changed. She would bake a cake when Grace celebrates her birthday in two months .
" Why didn't you greet me today. You didn't even look at me." Alex's message came in immediately she reached their room.
" Well, I thought you were busy discussing investments with grandma." She replied sarcastically.
" Sorry, you will find out soon." He still decided to hide it from her.
" Mmff I won't talk to you ." She acted angry and stopped texting.
After dinner, Robinah connected her laptop and kept herself busy. Jessica would be putting to bed soon. She remembered she had undergone a ceaserian section in her previous life. She had collected enough evidence. She just had to wait for one month to start her revenge.
