At the principal's office, Alexander sat on the couch looking impatient. The principal had claimed that R would come to register today and once her name was entered in the system, he would be notified and take him to meet her. It has been two hours since he arrived yet there was no news.
Just as he was thinking of leaving the matter to his assistant, the registrar in the company of a female student came in . There looks seemed to scream something big had happened.
" Principal, we need your help with something urgent." The registrar said panting. He had rushed all the way from his office to the principal's office.
" What happened? Calm down and tell me"
" Miss Grace, tell the principal what you just told me now." He pointed to the female student accompanying him.
" Who is she?" The principal was confused
" Am the one in charge of new student registration this year Mr. Principal." Grace bowed her head nervously.
" Okay what happened. Why are you not at the registration desk?" The principal asked.
" Just now, a young girl of about 15years came to the registration desk asking to register to the medicine department. When I asked her of her name, she told me to search for R. I didn't know what to do since we have never received such a young student before." She quickly explained.
" What name did she say?" Before the principal could say anything, Alexander cut through.
" She said I should look for R in the system." Grace replied just noticing the presence of Alexander.
" Go bring her here." The principal said to Grace while pointing to the seat for the registrar to wait. He understood Alexander's question just now. He wanted to confirm if she was the one. Alexander's assistant standing beside him seemed to have realized something and looked at Alexander marvelling in his heart." Was he that impatient?"
Robinah had been waiting for at least twenty minutes when Grace finally came back and told her the principal was waiting for her. She wondered if the principal would react like the others. People kept giving her weird glances all the way to the principal's office. Word had already spread that a new young girl had come to register. Funny enough, she wanted to be a doctor.
They soon arrived at the office. Robinah sat down comfortably and faced the principal without looking around.
" Mr. Johnson, what do you mean by this, am I a criminal for accepting your admission letter."
Looking at the young girl who seemed offended , the principal was dumbfounded. " Are you saying you are R? The one I have been talking to online?"
" Otherwise, were you expecting an old woman."
" No, I just didn't expect you to be this young yet so intelligent and accomplished." The principal was still in shock.
" Is this the explanation for the crowd, I thought I told you I like a quiet life. But now the whole school is giving me side eyes everywhere I pass." She said looking around. When she met Alexander's eyes, she seemed shocked and a blurred memory came back. But she masked her emotions quickly . Alexander noticed her reaction and smiled. She seemed to remember him.
" Sorry for the trouble, I will personally help with your registration." The principal said turning to the registrar and giving instructions.
" Would you like to change your name?" The registrar asking filling out the form.
" No, R will do."
" Will you be living on campus? The school can arrange the best accomodation for you." The principal said noticing the smile on Alexander's face.
" No need, I already have an apartment." She replied dismissively.
" Why not consider it?" Alexander looked confused.
"I have an elder to take care of and some work that makes staying here inconvenient." She looked at him simply and looked away.
" The registration is done." The registrar said sweating. After going through her documents, he was greatly shocked. They had found a genius.
" Okay then, I will start classes tomorrow." She said standing up to leave.
" I will see you off." Alexander said following her out. The principal was left shaking his head. She seemed to be running.
At the school gate,Robinah looked at the handsome man following her and stopped.
" Why are you following me?"
" Do you remember me?" Alexander asked looking at her small cute face.
" Is that why you are following me around?" There was anger in her voice. This guy behaved like a hooligan about to kidnap her.
" Not really, I have a few questions."
Remembering how he died with her in her previous life, she decided to tolerate him . At least she now seemed to know why he had been looking for her in her previous life. He actually took her joke seriously.
"Okay, follow me " she relented crossing the road to go to the hotel opposite their school.
