Eden had been isekai’d. But he wasn’t panicking. Why would he? He hadn’t just inherited Kryptonian powers—he also got the Viltrumite package. Which meant no weakness to kryptonite. No weakness to sonic waves. Basically untouchable. At least, until he realized he wasn’t in the DC universe. “Okay, fine, my dad being Clark Kent makes sense. But why the hell is my mom not Lois Lane, but some Nolan Grayson? And what’s with this knockoff Justice League?” Yeah. Eden wasn’t in DC. He’d landed in IMAGE Comics’ Invincible universe. But whatever. That wasn’t the real kicker. The real problem was that, on top of being half-Kryptonian and half-Viltrumite, he’d also been saddled with a system. A system that wanted to raise him into the perfect supervillain. Which basically meant Eden’s entire origin story was one big cursed fan-fic mash-up. “Wait, so I’m not the hero, I’m the villain? Superman’s kid downgraded into a Homelander knockoff? How the hell am I supposed to accept that?”
