Chapter 6 - chapter 06

Theresia turned her gaze towards the window, making sure who dared to break her bedroom window without permission. Her gaze turned sharp when she saw that it was Ace who was trying to enter her room, Theresia tried to contain her emotions. Theresia wiped the rest of her tears, then got up from her seat and walked over to Ace who managed to get inside.

While Ace looked confused, he checked Theresia condition from top to bottom. He who was still around Theresia's house heard the woman's screams, made his go straight back to Theresia room because he was worried. After all, Ace has a responsibility to protect his mate.

"Are you okay? I heard your screams earlier, and I immediately came back here," said Ace holding Theresia shoulders, his face showed concern.

While Theresia is still looking at Ace with a flat gaze, it feels like hitting the man in front of her right now. Theresia didn't answer because she was tired of Ace behavior.

Ace who didn't get an answer from Theresia took a deep breath. He waved his hand in Theresia's face saying, "Hey, are you listening to me?"

"Where's the villain?" asked Ace once more, he walked around Theresia room. Make sure that the room is safe.

Theresia who was already tired of Ace walked over to the man. Then swinging her leg to kick Ace leg from behind with all his might, she didn't care that Ace would be in pain.

"You're the villain!" shouted Theresia folded her arms over her chest, her eyes still looking at Ace with a sharp gaze.

"Arghh.." Ace winced in pain from the kick, although it didn't hurt too much. He turned to Theresia, blinked a few times because he didn't understand what Theresia meant.

"What do you mean? I'm here to save you, I can't let anything happen to my mate," Ace explained defensively.

Theresia rolled her eyes lazily, then pulled Ace's hand towards her bedroom window. "You see? Who broke this window?" Theresia asked with her hands on her hips, like a mother scolding her child.

Ace scratched the back of his neck that didn't itch, he was looking for an excuse to defend himself. Oh come on, Ace didn't do it on purpose. He thought something had happened to Theresia, so in a panic, Ace immediately broke the window without thinking.

"It was just a small accident, I didn't mean it," he answered, smiling innocently.

"Get out of here. here!" Theresia shrieked furiously.

Theresia opened her bedroom window, pushing Ace out of there. Ace had had enough of it all. Theresia didn't want that to happen at all, let alone to be close to Ace, it would never be Theresia.

"Wait, don't be angry. I can fix the glass now, it's very easy," said Ace refusing to leave there.

"I don't need your help. Get going!" Theresia jerked pushing Ace harder.

"Ah okay okay, fine. I'll be out now if you need help or need something. You can contact me," said Ace still with a sweet smile showing the hollow in his left cheek.

Theresia approached Ace, right in front of the man's face Theresia said, "What I need now, you get out of my room and don't ever appear around me again!"

After saying that, Theresia pushed Ace out the window. Theresia didn't care that Ace would be in pain from falling from the window, she didn't forget to close the window curtain tightly. Maybe that's the only thing that can protect him from the cold night wind for a while until the windows of her room return to normal.

"You damn man! Because of him, Hans's grandfather left without finishing his sentence. Arghh... I will kill you, Ace!" Theresia continued to grumble while picking up the broken glass that was scattered on the floor of her room, occasionally cursing in her heart for Ace, the man who has been disturbing Theresia's life for some time.

'He is a good man, Theresia. He can protect you there too, so be nice to that young man, I'm sure he can protect you from the vampire nation. Be careful Theresia, grandfather loves you.'

While Theresia was busy cleaning up the broken glass, suddenly her grandfather's hoarse voice was heard. Suddenly Theresia stopped her activities, she got up from her place. She looked around the room, but couldn't find her grandfather at all. All Theresia had with was his voice, not his form. It made Theresia sad because her grandfather must have returned to Draciana world.

"Grandpa! Have you left? Come back please, you haven't explained everything to me! I need an explanation! Please come back!" Theresia's shouted with tears in her eyes.

Theresia limply sat back down on the edge of the bed, looking at the necklace her grandfather had just given her. The necklace was absolutely beautiful and Theresia loved it, but she still wondered what her grandfather meant.

Theresia was only worried that if her grandfather's life was in danger there, she wanted to catch up with him but did not have the courage. The vampire nation could catch him at any time.

"Grandpa, what's the matter? Why did you leave before explaining everything to me, I'm at a loss as to what to do. I don't dare to go back to the city of Dracania," Theresia muttered under her breath, she lay down for a moment. Staring at the ceiling of her room, remembering his bright past. Now and then she smiled remembering how happy she used to be, living with a complete and peaceful family.

"I want to go back in time if I wasn't born before. Maybe the witches wouldn't be threatened by the vampire nation, and father, mother too, must still be alive until now," said Theresia smiling sadly.

Shortly after that, Theresia shook her head and said, "No! Everything has changed, I have to accept it. This is my destiny, I can get through it." Theresia muttered while wiping the rest of her tears, one hand was used to cover her eyes.

While the other hand is used to grip the necklace her grandfather gave him, placing the necklace in front of her chest.

Shortly after, Theresia fell asleep and went to dreamland.
