"Aaaah!" The scream came from Jessi, the woman screamed loudly and nearly died from choking on food.
"Uhuk... Damn!" Jessi cursed as she hit her chest which felt hot from choking on food. All that because Jack, who is a colleague of both of them, appeared suddenly and surprised them. when Jessi was feeling good, Theresia turned her eyes to the tall brown-skinned man who had just surprised them. "Jack, don't repeat what you did. Do you want us to die of shock, huh?" She folded her arms over her chest.
Instead of being sorry, the sweet man with curly eyelashes actually laughed lightly in response. "You guys suck, even though I'm just kidding," he said casually eating Jessi's food.
"Hey! That's my food, man's bottom sucks. You came and almost choked me to death, and now you're eating my food?" Jessi didn't accept Jack's attitude, wanting to take back her food.
While Theresia massaged her temples which felt dizzy, her two friends always quarreled everywhere. Theresia passed her food to the two people while saying, "Stop arguing, eat mine. I'm full."
After saying that, Theresia got up from her seat and walked into the cafe to continue her work. It can make her head spin if she continues to be between the two of them.
"Hey! Theresia, where are you going? I just joined, but you're already gone!" shouted Jack.
"I'm going back to work, you guys just eat first. Don't fight!" said Theresia raising her hand without turning to look at the two of them.
As usual, Theresia went back to her job as a waitress. Although her salary is not too big, she is happy to be able to meet her friend every day. At least that way Theresia doesn't feel lonely anymore in that city.
"Theresia, you should replace Jessi first at the front to greet customers." One of Theresia's co-workers gave an order, Theresia happily nodded and walked to the front door of the cafe.
After getting there, Theresia showed her best smile. Don't forget to be friendly to every buyer who comes, it's not uncommon for Theresia to have a little chat with them.
Theresia, who was still bent over, stared at the feet of the person in front of her. Theresia thought why the person had not gone away from her. Not long after, she looked up at a man who was still standing in front of her, with sunglasses perched on his nose. When Theresia looked at him, the man opened the sunglasses that were perched on her face. That's when Theresia seemed to turn into a statue in her place, her mouth open in shock. Her eyes widened as she remembered the man in front of him.
"Y-You?" Theresia said stuttering, her heart felt like it stopped at this moment. Her legs were helpless.
"No, why can you be here?" continued Theresia shaking her head.
The man smiled sideways, looked at Theresia with a look that was difficult to interpret and said, "I came to take you."
Theresia shook her head, she swallowed hard as she continued to step back slowly away from the man in front of him. "No, don't come near Aiden!" She screamed in fear.
Yep, it was Aiden who came. A vampire who had been targeting Theresia all this time, and now the person Theresia avoided the most was now in front of her. That managed to make Theresia tremble with fear, even her strength alone was not comparable to Aiden. Then how can Theresia fight him?
"Oh come on, I only need your blood." Aiden continued to step forward, with a creepy crooked smile on his face.
"I won't give up on you that easily!" After saying that, Theresia pushed Aiden's body roughly.

A shrill sound came from Aiden falling down and hitting several chairs and tables, making a commotion in the place.
While Theresia didn't want to wasting the opportunity, she ran away from there. Theresia's feet continued to run aimlessly, occasionally looking back hoping Aiden wouldn't follow her. Her unkempt hair was blowing in the wind, her breathing was irregular. Even so, Theresia kept running, she just had to avoid Aiden if she didn't want to be caught.
"Oh my god.. Where should I run," Theresia muttered as she kept running, looking left and right looking for a hiding place.
After a few minutes of running, Theresia ran towards the forest without realizing it. Theresia stopped her steps when there was no road in front of her, only the trees and bushes she saw around her. Theresia's crouched and put her hands together with her knees, taking a breath.
"Where am I? Am I lost? This is the forest!" Theresia said in a panic, looking around and not finding the street anymore.
Theresia closed her eyes, ruffled her hair in frustration. She is confused where to run now, if she comes back then Aiden can catch her. Theresia doesn't have enough courage to face Aiden alone.
"Theresia! You will never be able to escape from me! Give up!" Aiden's shout was heard again.
Theresia was surprised to hear the shout, she looked back but did not see Aiden appear. So Theresia chose to hide behind a tree for a while, she didn't want Aiden to find her and take her by force.
"I know you're hiding here, don't play with me stupid girl! Get out now!" shouted Aiden at the end of the thunderous laughter.
Theresia covered her mouth tightly with both hands, even she sometimes held her breath hearing the approaching footsteps. Theresia is helpless now, she just hopes someone sees her and helps her now. Aiden is really creepy when he's angry.
"I'll chop you up if you keep avoiding it, you stupid girl!" Aiden threatened angrily.
Aiden's screams were heard again, making Theresia tremble with fear. Not long after Theresia intended to leave that place, she could not keep hiding because sooner or later Aiden would find her.
"I have to leave here, I have to go to the city and ask people for help," said Theresia after thinking for a long time.
Not wanting to waste any more time, Theresia got up slowly from her seat. She stepped slowly to leave there.
At first it was going well, but Theresia accidentally stepped on a dry tree branch causing a sound. Making Aiden find her whereabouts, she turned to look at Aiden who was also looking at her with a sharp gaze.
"Damn!" cursed Theresia, after that she ran away from there.
"Arghh...!" Theresia's body bounced and hit a tree hard.
