Chapter 1 - The Birth.

Hybrids are an abomination, something that went against the laws of the world, and they needed to be killed and stopped. That was what all the realms believed, but it didn't stop interbreeding. Instead, it gave way to the birth of the ruler of the night, the ultimate hybrid and saviour of the night.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Witches Realm.
"Kill her, burn her," the crowd shouted and jeered at the woman tied to a bunch of firewood.
The woman looked helpless with her hands and whole body tied to the firewood. In her eyes were anger, hate, and sadness. She looked at all the familiar faces one by one, remembering their faces, her eyes jammed with the eyes of a brown hair man who smirked at her. Her eyes went down to her protudrd stomach, and tears started to fill her eyes.
The executioner brought a torch and lighted the firewood from behind. The woman closed her eyes, waiting for help, a miracle while the people rejoiced.
Then it came.
Just then, a loud roar was heard and a silver lion came charging out of the forest to the woman, the lion threw everything and everyone in his path and only stopped when it got to the woman, then it changed to a man with long silver hair. He stared at her and touched her face and the woman smiled rubbing her face against his palm, as is sensing the fire was closer to her, he undid the ropes and the woman body swayed and she fell but he caught her and hugged her tight.
"Jacqueline," He whispered against her neck.
The woman eyes widen in fear as she saw the people gat back on their feet and stare at them with killing intent.
"Slagus, we need to get other of here. Now."
Slagus released her from his embrace, turning to face the crowd who was ready to kill themselves by ant means,
"Come at me." He said, determined to protect his lover and child.
A spear like object came flying at him, but he moved to the side. Slagus turned his head to its sender, and his eyes became chilly,
"Jamyd."
"Slagus, stop this nonsense, you have a Realm to rule, don't give it all up for a woman and we all know that interbreeding is not allowed, hybrids are a sin, an abomina..."
"My child is not an abomination, and I will do everything in my power to protect it."
Immediately he was done speaking, he changed into a large eagle and carried Jacqueline on his back and flew away.
Jamyd stared at them, his eyes showing mirth as if liking how things were going.
Jamyd threw a silver powder to the sky, and a silver line appeared, making it easier for the people to keep track of who they were after and which exact direction they went. "After them." He spoke sharply, and some of the crowd began to run in the direction Slagus had flown toward.
Jamid and the others muttered some spell and began to float on the air.
"Slagus, the baby is coming, ah!, my tummy, ah, it hurts." Jacqueline cried out in pain, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
"Just hold on. We are almost at the border, yo..."
"No, i can't take it, I can't. Let me down." Jacqueline interrupted him, her face contorting in pain.
Slagus could feel the pain his mate was passing through, so he landed and carefully placed Jacqueline on the ground.
"What do I do?" He asked, confused,
Jacqueline grabbed his hand and squeezed it tight. She spread her legs open and began to push.
"Ahhhh!" Her screams were loud enough to wake the dead, and it was what Jamyd needed to get to them.
Jamyd listened to the screaming of Jacqueline and could tell she was giving birth.
"That baby must die."
He mumbled.
"Over there." He pointed at the direction of Jacqueline screams.
Slagus was stumped. He didn't know what to do, and he couldn't see his mate in so much pain, so he let her hold her hand as tight as she wanted.
"I regret getting you pregnant, I'm sp sorry, love..."
He stopped short as he felt the presence around him.
"Slagus, if you do,we can help you get rid of it in a snap." Jamyd emerged from the shadows, his black hair glinting under the moonlight.
Jacqueline looked up in fear but continued pushing.
She was tired but could sense that the head of her baby was out and she wasn't going to stop now, she continued pushing.
Slagus removed his hands from Jacqueline's grip and stood up from his kneeling position to face Jamyd.
He squared himself into a protective stance.
Just then, three balls of fire came at them, but it met with a forcefield created by Jacqueline just in time.
Jamyd frowned, and Slagus turned to look at Jacqueline, whose hands were still stretched forward but then limply fell to the ground.
"Keep attacking. It won't last long."
Jamyd instructed.
Slagus came to Jacqueline side and held her hand.
"The head is out." He said in relief.
Jacqueline managed a smile and continued to push. The forcefield she created was not strong, but it was strong enough for her to push out the baby completely.
Slagus looked at the umbilical strangely and wondered why the baby cried a lot and Jacqueline instructed him,
"Cut it."
Not having anything to cut it with, he used his razor-sharp teeth. Jamyd face became scary, and the morth in his eyes disappeared.
Immediately, Slagus cut the umbilical cord, the forcefield broke, he ruined his head sharply and stood in front of Jacqueline, taking the ball aimed at her. Quickly, without showing any sign of pain, she changed into a leopard and took Jacqueline on his back, and began to run.
Jacqueline held her baby in her hands tight and laid on Slagus back. The attacks didn't stop, and Jacqueline was not safe, and she was not weak either, so she turned back sending attacks, which was lethal.
She was not the witch queen for nothing.
Slagus ran as fast as he could, and he could see the border, which separated the Witches and the human.
Just a little more...
Jamyd appeared in front of him, causing him to stop abruptly and making Jacqueline fall down to his back.
She came down, and Slagus changed into a man and held Jacqueline close to him.
"Slagus, give up. It's over."
Jamyd said, a smile coming to spread in his lips. He looked at the baby, who was still crying and smiled even more.
Slagus turned his head, looking at the people who surrounded him with a plain face. Only the determination in his eyes and hint of worry could reveal his true emotion.
He looked at Jamyd, noticing a blind spot said to his mate
Ready,
1,2,3...
Slagus pushed Jacqueline, and immediately fiery, dark and shining balls came at him.
Jacqueline ran immediately, and as she jumped across the border, a pain shot through her body. She turned her head and saw Jamyd outstretched hand at her.
"Ugh!" Jacqueline said as she landed roughly on the ground. She looked at the wound on her back, and her face contorted in pain.
Her core. It was destroyed.
Jacqueline looked at the crying baby in her arms and touched her head, and smiled. As if sensing the mothers warm gaze, the baby stopped crying and looked curiously at her mother.
"You took both mine and Slagus hair..." she touched the strand of blue hair which and silver tips on the bloody head. The baby shifted, enjoying her mothers touch. "But you have my eyes...ugh!" Jacqueline vomited more blood, but she smiled. "So beautiful."
Just then, footsteps were heard, and Jacqueline saw aman in front of her, a human.
"Please, help...," she said weakly.
"This is a lot of blood." The human bent and wanted to check Jacqueline, but she instead said,
"Save my daughter, I'm gone, but save her," she paused and vomited again, and the human frowned more. "Her name is Nystrix. Jacqueline, is my name also add it to her name, alright?" Jacqueline looked at the man with hope, and he nodded. She bent her head and saw the little light of her core disappearing. She quickly added, "Take care of her, protect her..."
Jacqueline mouth hung open as the light in her core disappeared completely.
"Miss?" The human looked at Jacqueline and noticed something. He saw her dead core, and his eyes widened,
"A night creature."
