He…stepped onto the world, pushing away the green liquid beneath his feet. Cells of green flesh fled from the air as he walked, the green mist scurrying away from his path.
Bodies filled the earth, forming mountains and islands, impaled on metal. Their blood forming rivers and lakes drowning the earth.
Yet, he walked, unbothered. Unbothered by the dark night, unbothered by the blood, unbothered by corpses, unbothered by…death itself.
Reaching the largest mountain, he gazed. He gazed at the corpses, reaching the stars. Yet he refused to look up, for there is none above him. Instead, he smiled. And with it, he climbed.
But the weight of his being isn't something that death could take. It crumbled beneath his feet, boring into the carcasses. Bones shattered, flesh marked, blood squeezed, and his curiosity piqued.
Many centuries had passed since their birth and decades since their first encounters. But none piqued his interest like this. What had this one been doing? How did this one live? Would this one be as good as his brothers? But that was a given, from the looks of this planet. But would this one challenge him like the other one? Or would this one…simply kneel? He was curious.
And perhaps because of it, his pace increased, and his smile deepened.
Reaching the summit of the mountain, he slowed his pace deliberately. And took the final step and stood at the top of the world, his rightful place. But he….wasn't alone.
Yet his gaze never went to that one. No, his unmatched golden gaze, watched the sun, slowly rising from the horizon. Amidst the mountains of death and valleys of blood, it shone, casting its gentle shadows on the world and him.
He watched the sunrise, along with that one. No words were spoken, no emotions communicated, for none were needed. And he himself didn't want to talk, this was a rare moment of peace in his long life.
He watched the sun, rising up until it finally rose higher than him. And he had lost interest, finally gazing at the one beside him, and his smile only deepened further.
Beside him wasn't just any other. It was a sword, a sword forged in blood and tempered through war. He could feel it, this one's presence, a sharp blade unlike any other, eager to cut, sever, kill, to cause…carnage.
This one had sensed his presence. He knew it; he knew it the moment he stepped on the mountain. Yet this one's back was facing him. And his blade, sheathed in the desire of control.
A challenge. Good. He liked it.
And so, he released it. The mountain rumbled, the air shook, and the world trembled. Pride, dominance, and sheer power fell down on the blade.
And for the first time, this one had moved, and he…spoke.
"Aren't you going to greet me…son?"

Hi guys, author here.
I just had this idea today, while I was watching a war hammer video. But let me be clear to you all. I know almost nothing about the lore of war hammer. I'm an absolute beginner.
I know the basics, like how the Emperor came to be, his creation of Primarchs. The great crusade, a few bits about Primarchs (Sanguinius is my favorite among them) and the heresy, and that's it. Oh, I also know a bit about the warp, the chaos gods, orks, dark elfs? Are they called dark elves? Also, the hive mind.
I know this might come off as arrogant as I'm writing a fanfiction on war hammer. But I want to learn. Whatever little I know drove me to start this fanfiction, and I'm sure it will only suck me more into the rabbit hole, as I learn. Which I'm very much serious about.
So help me in this journey, point out any mistakes I made, also, if you can cite me some sources which I can study, it'll help a lot!
