Chelsea didn't expect anything from her marriage with Ace. What would happen next? Chelsea could only surrender and accept Ace as her husband. Although forgetting Jack was very difficult for her, especially since Jack hadn't been found yet, as of now, Chelsea was resignedly ordered by Ace to unpack Ace's belongings in the trunk. Like Ace's previous decision, he took Chelsea to his private home.
Approximately fifteen minutes later, they arrived at Ace's house. The house was not very big, but it looked minimalist and elegant, yet still seemed luxurious. Ace got out of the car, opened the door to Chelsea's house, and let her out. Ace brought all the suitcases to his house. Ace didn't take Chelsea to the pack house but to a house she had bought for Chelsea.
"Let me help!" Chelsea was about to pull one suitcase, but Ace refused.
Ace smiled slightly and patted Chelsea's head lightly as he said, "No, I'll do it. You must be tired."
That made Chelsea silent, and Ace's treatment made her remember Jack, who often patted her head. But Chelsea could only remain silent, remembering that Jack left without giving any news.
"Miss Chelsea? Are you Mr. Ace's wife?" asked an old woman who had just approached Chelsea.
Chelsea just nodded awkwardly in response; she didn't know what else to say. Because the place was very unfamiliar to her.
"I'm Diah, the housekeeper here," the woman smiled, taking over the suitcase in Ace's hand as she said, "Let me carry it, Mr. Ace."
"No, I'll carry it. You can bring my wife inside," Ace said kindly. He then walked towards his room with the two suitcases in his hands.
"Please come in." Diah invited Chelsea inside. They both went inside, and Diah showed Chelsea the location of several rooms. Not forgetting after that, Diah escorted Chelsea to the top floor, more precisely to Ace's room.
"This is Mr. Ace's room, and later Mbak Chelsea's room too," Diah said with a smile.
Chelsea could only smile because she didn't know how to react; she was just confused. How could she be in the same room as Ace? Chelsea was still confused by what happened; everything happened so fast. Chelsea didn't even know where her father met Ace, and how could her father agree if Ace replaced Jack? Chelsea's brain felt like exploding at the thought.
"Yes, thank you," Chelsea said kindly, after which Diah went to the kitchen, leaving Chelsea still at the door.
Not long after, Chelsea opened the door handle of Ace's room quietly. The door opened, revealing a white and gray room. Chelsea's eyes swept across the room; she didn't find the man who had become her husband. But the sound of gurgling water could be heard coming from the bathroom. Chelsea was sure that Ace was taking a shower right now.
Chelsea breathed a sigh of relief, then stepped inside, dragging two suitcases in her hands. Taking them to the glass cabinet located in the corner of the room, Chelsea sat down on the floor and began to unpack the suitcases and put the clothes and belongings in their proper places.
"Huff. What a bummer! I was supposed to marry Jack, but now I have to marry this crazy guy I don't even know." Chelsea grumbled endlessly; her tears fell without permission. Remembering Jack, who just disappeared, made Chelsea feel sad.
Ceklekk...
Hearing the sound of the door opening, Chelsea reflexively turned her head towards the source of the sound. Her eyes immediately bulged when she saw Ace coming out of the bathroom, wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist. Ace's sexy belly made Chelsea gulp.
"Oh my God!" Chelsea screamed while covering her eyes with both palms.
In contrast to Ace, who was smiling crookedly in place, who knows what the man was thinking at the moment? Ace walked casually over to Chelsea, who was still standing behind him, the man standing behind Chelsea still with his sly smile.
"Eh! What are you doing?"
Yeah, Ace had just done something that made Chelsea angry; just imagine suddenly Ace hugging Chelsea from behind. It made Chelsea shudder and immediately pushed Ace away; not only that, Chelsea looked at Ace with a sharp gaze as if she wanted to kill the man right now.
"Don't try to get close to me! I married you because I had to! Don't cross the line!" Chelsea shouted while pointing at Ace.
Instead of not accepting being scolded like that, Ace smiled slightly and said, "I'll make you kneel to me later."
Ace approached Chelsea again, and she reflexively took a few steps back. Until her back hit the cupboard behind her.
"What are you trying to do? I can scream if you mess with me," Chelsea said with her anger remaining.
While Ace didn't answer, he was still smiling at the woman in front of him. I don't know what Ace was thinking at the moment. Ace was getting closer to Chelsea... And they...
Plak...
Ouch, a pretty hard slap given by Chelsea to Ace; let's just say it was an introductory greeting from Chelsea.
"Hahaha, this is the first time I've seen a werewolf slapped by a woman." No, it wasn't Ace's or Chelsea's voice, but the voice of the wolf in Ace's body. Yeah, only Ace could hear the wolf's words.
"Damn it!"
