That made Ace chuckle at his wife's behavior. "Turns out my mate is like a child," he muttered, still with a faint smile.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Stella, who had just left Ace's company,. Now in the forest, Stella hit a tree to channel her emotions.
"Damn it! Why isn't Ace my mate! Why!" Stella was angry; she was upset that Ace chose to marry his mate.
"Wow, interesting. What's going on? There's a she-wolf on the rampage here?" The voice of someone who had just arrived made Stella stop her activity.
Stella turned to look at a man leaning against a tree, standing not far from where she was.
"It's none of your fucking business, vampire!" Yeah, it was Edward, the vampire who a few days ago had gotten into a fight with the Shadow pack members.
Edward laughed; he approached Stella casually as he said, "I heard you don't like Ace's mate?"
Stella was silent.
"Relax, I'm here to help you, not be your enemy," Edward continued with a lopsided smile.
Stella turned to look at Edward, she seemed to think for a moment. "Help?" she asked raising one eyebrow.
"Yes, tell me where Ace's mate is. If you want her to disappear from Ace's life, and you can be with Ace forever," Edward explained at length, seemingly taking advantage of the situation.
"That's fine, that woman is with Ace in his room. I'll monitor her, if she leaves the office, I'll let you know and do what you want to do." Stella didn't think much, she was just upset and emotional at the moment. Stella didn't even think about how Ace would react if he knew about this.
"Okay, I'm counting on you." After saying that, Edward walked away leaving Stella smiling alone in her place.
"Sorry Ace, but I don't like weak humans." Stella muttered while clenching her fists.
As planned, Stella returned to Ace's office. "Good, Ace is in a meeting. Maybe that woman is alone," she muttered as she walked back into Ace's office after seeing Ace and Hans leave the room.
"Hello weak woman," Stella said to Chelsea who was still sitting on the sofa.
Chelsea who was originally wearing a headset, now took off one headset in her ear. "What's wrong?" she asked briefly, because really she was lazy with the commotion.
Stella approached Chelsea, she stood in front of Chelsea while folding her arms over her chest.
"I just wanted to say that your parents want to meet you at the cafe next to the office," Stella replied casually.
While Chelsea frowned. "Mama, papa, why didn't they just call me?"
"I don't know, I told Ace to tell you. If you don't want to go, that's up to you!" Stella said emotionally again, after which she chose to leave the room. Leaving Chelsea who was still silent to think.
"Should I just check at the cafe?" muttered Chelsea, still staring at Stella who had left the room. "No problem, I'm bored here anyway. I'd better go for a walk," she said with a faint smile, she got up from her seat and picked up her bag and cell phone.
Chelsea really went to the cafe, she came out of Ace's room with a thin smile on her beautiful face. It didn't take long for Chelsea to arrive at the cafe near the office, Chelsea's eyes were busy looking for the whereabouts of her mother and father.
"Where are mom and dad?" Chelsea scratched her head which was not itchy, she was confused because her parents were not there. "Tsk, that woman must be lying," she continued irritably.
Just as Chelsea decided to turn around and go home, someone stood in front of her. "Holy blood." Yeah Edward was now standing in front of Chelsea with red eyes and clearly engaged fangs.
That made Chelsea shocked and scared, she backed away slowly because she saw something she might have seen in fairy tales only.
"Who are you?" asked Chelsea stammering, she was so scared that cold sweat broke out on her body. Chelsea backed away slowly because Edward's smile looked very terrible.
"The holy blood will be mine." After that Edward did something…
